I have to stay out of this store! I spend too much of my paycheck in there. On what you ask???? 4k TVs, Soundbars, All in one PCs, Gaming monitors, Bose and Beats headphones, BRAND NAME clothes and shoes, cooking supplies, musical instruments (keyboards etc.), furniture, and pet supplies just to name some things.I am a Goodwill/Thrift Store connoisseur. I actually go on road trips to these places for fun. Everything at both Jackson locations (Vann and the Hwy45 location) is reasonably priced (in comparison to other areas such as Memphis) and the staff is pretty cool. Store is always clean and organized. The only downside is, just like any thrift/second hand store like this, it can be hit or miss. You have to just check back often to catch the good stuff. If you got a little time on your hand, it is worth it.

This is kind of an under average good will imo. It's not as big as some and the selection of everything is always a bit lacking. The staff are always nice though and line waits aren't that bad.

I stopped by goodwill yesterday to drop off a bag of pants. Some of the pants still had the tags on them. I cannot wear that size anymore and they are for cold weather workers. I hope somebody can wear them. The guy that helped me get them out of my car was very nice and courteous!

Very bright and clean store. Wide variety of bargain finds and great selections here. Staff was helpful and provided excellent service. Would recommend visiting after a movie nearby!

There was barely any inventory here, and the household section was a total disaster. There were plenty of staff milling around, so not sure what they were doing. I did not receive a senior discount nor was I asked if I was eligible. The checkout girl was very friendly though. I have been to many stores around the country and I was left very unimpressed with this one.

Went here to get a few jeans for my daughter and found a really cute pair the incompetent woman at the counter said they she had to send them back to the warehouse to be re tagged instead of just charging the 6.99 for the Jeans. This is a second hand store not Nordstrom even when you buy thing in other stores new without tags they ring it up for something close to the price also a lot of the clothing that I seen in this store were higher than buying it new. I’m done with goodwill and will no longer be donating!

Amazing! Staff is always super friendly, incredibly clean, and the clothing prices are great compared to lots of other Goodwill stores. I never leave empty handed and have found some great clothing pieces here. Always make sure to check the clothes for holes or stains however, and always be sure to take the clothes off the hangers at checkout to help out the staff! :)

Good finds are kind of hit and miss. Clothing is way over priced.. My visit yesterday resulted in my being overcharged, although the cashier insisted I wasn't. If I hadn't been in a hurry to help my clients to the car I would've spoken to management. It goes to a good cause, I guess.

I went to the Goodwill 30 min before closing time on a Sunday and the store looked great! It was very clean and organized. The ladies working were also very nice. Highly recommend!

Pretty decent Goodwill. Large store. Best to go earlier in the day as it seems pretty picked over when I've been in the early evening.

Very nice, new Goodwill in a quickly growing area. The selection and quality of goods is merely average I would say, but the staff are very nice and helpful. The bathrooms and overall store are very clean.Goodwill is a nonprofit chain that has its fair share of critics considering that they sale goods that were donated to them at fairly high prices the items are used and have (at least in the past) paid workers with intellectual disabilities at wages far below minimum wages. I rarely see an obviously disabled worker in a goodwill anymore - to put it bluntly. The chain also is establishing very nice new stores in expensive/growing areas perhaps at an expense that hinders its various other missions as a nonprofit. Also what's up with asking us to round up our bill to the nearest dollar? Isn't that a bit much to ask considering all of the facts mentioned above?Still, the nonprofit offers job services for people who need a little extra help and I think more people are inclined to shop in a goodwill that's not ghetto: one that's clean and has a good selection of goods with (what the world may deem as) more competent workers for a retail setting.With that all of that said, I am not knocking Goodwill. I have shopped at the chain for close to ten years and have seen the prices and value of the goods and experiences vary widely store to store across west, middle, and east Tennessee. I am simply hoping that readers are more aware of how the business operates so that people can make more informed decisions.If this review was helpful or interesting, please hit the like button bellow👍

Friendly workers. Some prices are a little bit on the high side of some items. Other things are priced reasonably. In all its not too bad if there's something you need chances are you'll find it at Goodwill...

Selection was limited, but being not too long after a pandemic and not many people donating, I will go with a down the middle review for now and check back another time. I did see 1 piece of artwork I liked, but it had 2 different prices on it. One obviously from a pre marking that said $4.99 and a different updated price of $5.99

I used to work at this store when it was located on University Parkway. The store manager and assistant managers at the time cared more about pleasing their customers than taking care of their staff. I don't know how many times I was forced to endure another customer's callous and rude remarks just so I wouldn't get a customer complaint about me. It didn't matter what the complaint was about, or if it was even valid, you would get a write up. After 3 you were fired. The job was not worth minimum wage, my sanity and my dignity.

We love to come to goodwill because you never know what you'll find or what kind of deal it will be. I've bought everything from books and clothes to coat racks and stereos here. The staff are always friendly and nice, the north Jackson store is the cleanest and best organized one I've been too as well.

The store opened fall off 2015 so it's pretty new and really nice inside. The store is bigger than the location it moved from. The wait in the check out was really short which is impressive for Goodwill. I've been to others where you have to wait because there's not enough cashiers.

I usually go in to look for old and dated odds and ends, alot of times they have component sets, or CB radio Xbox and old playstation games.

I didn't take any pictures today it was so cold I was numb. They had a good sale not as much out as usual but picking was still good. I wanted to use my reward from Goodwill. Make 10 purchases of $25 dollars or more and after that the next $25 purchase will be deducted from your total price. I loaded up on several pieces of T-fal cookware. I found a wok which was in better than excellent shape, sauce pan, skillet with poaching tray and a glass lid, and also what I call a single persons skillet small enough to fry only a couple eggs without dirtying up a big one. All total 6 skillet/pans 3 w/lids, a sweater, giant coloring book, a shoulder wrap and with the discount off I paid $12.09. Not too bad I think. So well worth my trip and time, so I highly recommend going there you can never tell what treasures they will have and you find.

I found some unpriced items and asked them to price them. They broke one of the set when wrapping and pricing. I told them I would still take the broken one-I would still be able to use it for my craft project. The cashier said she could not let me have it, and proceeded to throw it in the trash in front of me. First class B!#(# ! What was her point? Karma comes around.

I’m not sure what happened here but this location is awful. Racks are very sparse. Nothing good anymore. Early to mid last year it was much better.

Hours can be spent in the book section. Great place to find nick nacks for your home, sometimes the prices are high for the things you can get brand new cheaper but half price Saturday and weekly tag color discounts make it worth the trip.
