You can barely bring the clothes on your back into the Dollar General with you these days. No backpacks, no bags, no bikes, no escooters, nothing. You can't even have em keep your stuff near the cash register anymore. Keep it outside where it's liable to get stolen! How about I take my business elsewhere?I personally despise businesses like this who so paranoid about shoplifting (yet keep locating themselves in questionable neighborhoods) that they end up inconveniencing the very customers they're supposedly trying to serve: The poorest of the poor who don't have a car and need an easy way to carry their stuff home on foot or on the bus.

If I could I would give it 0 stars, as soon as I walked into the store the cashier told me to give her my purse if I didn't I couldn't shop. This is ridiculous there was no way I was going to leave my purse with the cashier so I had to take it back to my car. If it wasn't because I was in a hurry I would've just left. Have never had such a humiliating experience in my life. I will be calling the corporate office in the morning.

Every one of the stores in my area are a hot mess. Items to be stocked are stacked in bunches in almost every isle. Some stores are very dirty. Very seldom do I go in one and am able to get what I need. I see that they have the items I want but they are still wrapped up waiting to be stocked

This store on S Royal is the best in Jackson. The store is well kept,clean, stocked and organized. Employees are friendly.

Had never been to this location before. Was in jackson for school shopping and stopped in. First off the store was super clean and organized. The employees were friendly. Clean clearance area. Great experience all together. Will definitely be back even though it's an hour from me.

Some employees nice one lady REALLY rude. WOULDN'T sell me a bra due to no price she didn't even offer to find out what the price was....guess it wasn't for sale....how strange is that?

I feel like I was discriminated against because I am a homeless person , every time I go to that store I am told to leave my backpack at the door but I see other people come in the store that are not homeless carrying backpacks and purses and they're not asked to leave them at the door . Why am I being treated differently ,is it because I am homeless .
