We stopped in for a quick snack and check it out. Walked around the store a bit and had a couple milkshakes and some ice cream. Played a game of bottle top checkers and headed out. Great little place. There is more to see and do but we didn't have much time. There is a railroad attraction we would like to come back and visit. We also would like to check out the the buffet next time as well.Stop by and check it out if your in the area.

It's a cool looking place. They have a nice looking shop, better said 2 one candy one general. The all you can eat buffet is ok. The price was very good. I ate there 2 times on a Mon and Tuesday. The menu was a bit different. Not sure if the weekends are busier or better food. Good place for the money. Don't expect a chef to cook and you'll enjoy the southern food they offer

Great place to stretch legs.Buffet available or order a plate to eat there or to go. There's an ice cream shop but we haven't tried it yet.Train museum, not expensive or just enter their store, you will enjoy it.Parking: Electric car charging stations are available.

Enjoyed the Buffet. If you have had Gastric Surgery the buffet is $5 plus tea and taxes with your Surgery card. The country store has everything from T Shirts to jewelry and lots of neat stuff. They have Country Music T Shirts and more. I always enjoy coming here every chance I get. I've been coming here when I visit Tennessee headed to Nashville. Always a definite stop for me. Check them out. You will not be disappointed.

We were told there was a 20 minute wait at 3:30 on Sunday afternoon. It was not crowded. They took my name and cell number. 30 minutes later, nothing. I asked again as other people in, were told 5 minutes, then were taken right in. Finally just went to the register, paid and were taken to a tiny table. We asked for a little more space. Some of the meats were dry and needed a gravy to help. Overall, unimpressed. Can’t really say I would come back again. This is the second time we came here over the last couple of years and the first time was no better. But if you need to charge your Tesla, plenty of spaces here.Parking: Plenty of Tesla charging stations.

This place was just what it said, an old country store.with a little southern twist. There is a buffet ( not big ) that sits in the back. The food was good, our waitress was great and the price was not bad, either. It was $14.99 for adults and $13.99 for seniors. I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars, because the seating is to close for me, for where I was at. Now I'm sure that at a different area in the restaurant others were good or it appears they were, but me only one person at a time could walk the aisle. The only other thing is the items for sale t-shirts, socks etc... are too expensive for me. Otherwise, loved it.

Food was very good. Great place to see. Or at least it was for myself. Most definitely would like to go back by there someday. The people who work there are very friendly. Almost forget to tell you about the map on the wall there. It is full of pins 📌 of all over the globe from people who have been there to see this place, and to eat some great food. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did.

Highly recommended. We saw signs on the road for Casey Jones Village and a country store buffet, and decided to stop for lunch. The country store was reminiscent of Cracker Barrel, which is fun. The buffet was excellent, probably in our top 3 all- time buffets for quality and taste. (We've tried many buffets, across the USA.) Every dish was hot, fresh, and tasted very good. There was a cornbread making station next to the buffet, they poured the batter on a griddle and cooked batches in front of you. Aside from the restaurant, there's a train museum and Casey Jones home.

Down home cooking in a buffet! This is probably the best "home cooked meal" from a buffet I've ever had! Everything was piping hot and was extremely fresh! Service was phenomenal. Even the desserts tasted like grandma's! I highly suggest stopping in. You'll leave full and satisfied!Wheelchair accessibility: Easily roll right into the store and dining areas.

The buffet was okay. The best thing on it was the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Everything else was mid. Nothing was bad or nasty, but not remarkable either. The country store was impressive. Imagine a Cracker Barrel on steroids.Outside, there is a "park" that you can walk around and look at the old cabins that are on site. There is a train museum, and also a few art stores available for touring and browsing.

The food is great. A nice home cooked variety. Also included is a salad bar and desert options. The hot water cornbread and white beans were my favorite. The banana pudding topped it off for desert. With that being said, I would say for you to come only if you were very hungry! The prices are a bit on the expensive side. The all you can eat buffet including salad bar and 3 desert options was $18.99. Kids 4-10 $8.99 and discounts for seniors 60 and above. Drinks are added on as well. So, 1 adult buffet with a drink was $21.74. We had 3 adult prices with 2 kids, which was right at $100.Vegetarian options: Salad bar

We stop whenever we are passing through, because they have good, hot food and nice service. We arrived an hour before closing on Sunday night and walked right in without a line. The dining room was festive and clean. As we helped ourselves to the buffet, we noticed them replenishing the food which was a relief. 😊 Our waitress was attentive and kept our beverage glasses full.

Good quality old school buffet. Unlike Golden Corral, this restaurant does not bombard their diners with variety and quantity, but they make sure every dish is prepared well. In particular, I like the spaghetti prepared with their in-house meat sauce (the meat chunks are irregular in both shape and size) and cream corn. There is also an irresistible side dish of peach slices.

Stopped off here for lunch having seen a few recommendations on the Tennessee forum. Good choice. The store itself was interesting and we got the chance to have a browse whilst waiting for our table. Everyone was every friendly, service good, the buffet varied and tasty. We felt the meal was good value, loved the banana custard desert, haven’t had that since childhood, took me back yearrrrrrs!

Definitely not the Old Country Store that I grew up with. While the food was decent, and the service was good... the overall experience was less enjoyable than my memories. The amount of "Gun toting, Bible Thumping" merchandise was disturbing. I felt that I walked into a hypocritical convergence of "God says love, but my gun says hate". The old days of simple Tennessee souvenirs and "hillbilly contraptions" are gone.

Buffet variety is excellent! Food quality is good, tho some buffet items don't really belong. Service is okay. Bathroom is outside dining area. Heavy Southern atmosphere. Pricing is tolerable; at the standard. Southern Hospitality?Parking: Tesla stations are available.

I was very disappointed. The food was mediocre at the best. Not hot, luke warm or cold. The coffee was horrible. Restroom was disgusting.I try to eat at local joints, with usually good luck reading reviews, but today I should have went to Cracker Barrel. I've never been disappointed there, and it was only 5 minutes away.
