$1600 bird died on the 3rd day of having it did everything they told us a the time of purchasing an kept it in the Cage they sold us with the bird. Called the owners an they wouldn't do anything about until I spend more money at the state lab to find out what was wrong with it. An I get the impression from them they still won't do anything about it. From other reviews I just read I'm not the only one with animals that have dead from this place. We bought it from the exotic pet expo in Murfreesboro on 11/11/23 the worst part is this bird is something my wife has wanted for a every long time an we finally had the funds to spare to get it an then it died on the 3rd day. This place also does want to talk to you on the phone they ask the to get off the phone an do all the contacting about this on the Facebook messenger. Less then 3 full days .

I have taken into my home a mosaic sugar glider, a rat, and a ball python and I have had nothing but good luck with these animals. From my perspective, it was a good experience. The young man who helped us with the snake was incredibly knowledgeable. The owner who helped us with the sugar glider was as well. I am an experienced animal caretaker, and it was nice to see a shop like this which was clean, did not smell, and were willing to talk with us, as well as give us the space to look around without being breathed over. 5 stars from me.

Best place ever! We have several exotics as well as reptiles and other pets. Ever since we left our old state we have had trouble finding food and live insects to feed our babies. Not only are they a one stop for all of our needs they are extremely knowledgeable on everything, and have great prices and deals. I love it here and I work at a pet store. It is a drive for me but I don't even care. I will continue to make the drive and enjoy a day a Birdytown for all my exotic and reptile needs from here on out. Not only do I visit here but I also send people that come into my pet store there for all their needs as well, because memphis just doesn't have anything for exotics or a wide variety of reptiles. Can't wait to visit again soon, yall are such great people!!! 💗

AMAZING EXPERIENCE‼️ We have bought many products from them for our Ferret. We just recently bought this beautiful baby boy ball python. He is absolutely awesome!! The store personnel are always willing to show and discuss the options they have and they are extremely knowledgeable! They love the animals and want the best for them! I highly recommend getting your future family additions from them!

Who gives a damn about Jeff smith and his 1600 bird. Maybe research how to take proper care of a bird and it wouldn’t die. Because I can assure you it was healthy before it left the store or you wouldn’t have purchased it!!!

My husband Jeff Smith got me a bird because I have wanted one for so long an he saved up to get me one . I finally found the bird I wanted I was so happy an she dead 3 days later an this store an the owners wouldn't do anything . No refund no replacement we ever recommend a 1/2 refund because the state lab couldn't find a cause of death. Very bad business.

My husband bought me 2 birds and 1 of them passed away and they said it was only 48 hours warranty for the birds they never said that. Then they started asking me questions I said look I wouldn't get any bird's if I didn't know how to take care of them. I lost the yellow one so sad😥

I'm disappointed with the pet store's customer service. Despite my friend Jeff’s recent purchase of a bird, it sadly passed away just three days later. When he reached out for a refund, they adamantly refused, showing a lack of empathy and responsibility. This experience has left him dissatisfied and questioning Birdytown exotics commitment to the well-being of the animals they sell.

Got our baby cinnamon green check from Birdytown! I can not say enough great things about this experience. Our baby is so friendly and loving, with A LOT of personality. Would give more then 5 stars if I could!

Please see the review from Jeff. This situation keeps happening with them. Eventually I hope someone gets tired of this and they take action against them.At least offer a refund minus what the actual cost of the bird. That way the business isn’t out anything and the customer gets something back.

Went in to get a turquoise green cheek conure as a buddy for my conure, but ended up getting a very sweet cockatiel instead. She's calm and loves being held. Customer service was great and you could tell they put a lot of work into their birds. The prices on food, toys and cages were reasonable. We will definitely return for more supplies. They also have a reward program we signed up for.

Their prices are all over the place depending on who answers the phone.The store smells horrible.They only have certain things while advertising alot.When I called for pricing (one of three times) the guy that answered acted bothered by me asking questions.Won't be back. I'll go to Fishy Business next time.

Sold a dragon with mouth rot. This is a picture of him a week and a half after I purchased him. I took him to vet to get him checked in as a “new pet” and told them he wasn’t eating well and they checked his mouth and you can see the sore in his mouth. Birdie Town says he was not like that when I purchased him, my vet said he had this before the week and I half I had had him. Now I’m left with a sick dragon and vet bills keep piling up. They will not help with expenses or take the dragon back! I bought from a small business owner instead of one of these big stores like pest co, etc because I’m all about supporting local, well I won’t make this mistake again! Pet Co stands by their pets for 15 days I believe! The End of my rant! Do better Birdie Town

Neat little pet store. We were looking for a guinea pig and they had some. Dustin the owner was helpful and offered great advice. They had a nice selection of birds, retiles and little furry friends and the food and habitats to go with them.

TERRIBLE! there's a reason "all sales are final" got 2 rats from here, (against others saying their animals didn't look great, stupid of me). One died from respiratory infection, and they refused to replace or listen to me about what happened. Will never do any business here ever again and strongly suggest others don't as well.

I love the variety of different merchandise they carry including bowls for small animals and reptiles. There is a nice selection of mammals including my favorite guinea pigs. I was pleased with my purchases from Birdytown Exotics.

This place is awesome. We got a pearl cockatiel and he's very friendly. They had a good variety of birds. I plan on going back soon.
