Look it's not a restaurant, it's a market that serves hot food, so don't go expecting "atmosphere". The owners and staff are wonderful, sweet people and incredible cooks. We just got the Friday braised lamb and it is succulent and luscious and damn near perfect. Falafel was crisp and hot, tzatziki good, baba ganouj smoky and flavorful. Will have to come back for gyro and hummus and dolmas. Don't know how I've missed them for so long but now that I know they're there it'll be a routine stop. Definitely more authentic than the chain place on Vann, so if you want real, this is it.

If you know, you know. I feel like this place often gets overlooked as it has been here a long time and doesn't really do a lot of promotion. They are by far the best option for middle eastern food in town. Small place but the menu is good and the quality is great! We order the lamb on Fridays which is such a treat. They have a selection of frozen meats if you'd prefer to make at home. I'm not a french fry person but these have a really delicious spice blend! Baklava is made fresh by one of the shop owners and the food is always piping hot when ready!

The lamb and chicken gyros were so delicious! I had it delivered to my house with no problems. The lamb gyro plate was so good too. I loved their rice and gyro sauce. Definitely a nice surprise. Wish I had known this place existed before today. I've been missing out! Will definitely be ordering from them again. They give you lots of food for a good price.

This five star review isnt for the atmosphere, or ambience . Its 100% about the food . I've been looking for a place like this , in Jackson TN , for some time now , but Google assured me , there were none closer than Memphis. Well , a little more scrolling , further and further down, uncovered A&S , a grocery store and cafe , with all the things I had been unable to find , spices , flat breads , meats , to make our favorite Mediterranean foods . Not only that , but they prepared some of the best made Mediterranean dishes I've had in many years . We frequently eat at a Greek place in El Paso , rated #1 in a city full of excellent restaurants,but the stuffed grape leaves here , AND the Gyros , are not only better, but among the very best we've eaten anyway in the midwest/ eastern/southeastern/and western U.S. They should not be missed by anyone who loves Mediterranean Cuisine, or just loves truly excellent food , perfectly prepared . Do not sleep on this place , if you like to , you know , eat and stuff .

Amazing place. Small hole in the wall with amazing setting. Recently moved things around for more dine-in accommodation. In comparison to generic chain eatery's, ASIF HAS better food and lower prices. Easily the best Gyro spot in Jackson.

Those of us not from the USA or the Middle East will have to look elsewhere for tastes from home. Calling the store Yemeni Food would have been more accurate. Not a LP or pack of Squiggles to be had here.

Thankful to have found this little spot. No expansive selection by any measure, but 5 stars for convenience and having all the essentials for one to whip up some tasty Mediterranean flare. I’ll be returning to check out their hot plates.

First time patronizing the store and loved it..has so many good Halal products and meats that has been difficult for me to find until now and prices are excellent. Will be a regular customer though I live some distance away..it's worth it.

The yogurt drink they had there was spoiled. They didn't keep the freezer cool enough and they did not give me my money back or let me exchange the drink. The place looks unclean. They did not wear gloves when they cooked either. Go to the other indian restaurants, DO NOT go here, they are nasty.
