I had an extremely degrading and embarrassing experience at this location from a cashier and her comments to me. Due to my EMPLOYMENT sometimes I can shop at this location and the Caryville, TN location anywhere from 1-4 times daily depending on the amount of orders I receive, and I have been doing so for around a year and a half. During my last two trips I have went to leave the location and the security sensor has went off(this has NEVER happened before). On both occasions I have stopped and spoke to the cashier to ensure their were no issues and I made a joke or comment stating maybe it’s my phone and chuckled( I know this is not how the security sensors work). Then I proceeded out to my car. I realized I forgot to get something and ran back in very quickly for her to say “huh that’s funny the sensor didn’t go off this time and you had your phone in your hand but not your bag”. “Wonder why that is”? All I could do is think about her comment and wonder why someone would ever have been led to believe or assume I would steal something, and I was beyond embarrassed. Once I arrived in my car I began looking and low and behold the little ole Disney Encanto toy I bought my daughter has a security tag… My previous purchase was automobile transmission fluid, suckers, paper plates. Background I used the self checkout on both purchases so there is footage of both purchases along with 90% of my other trips(when you DoorDash it’s much more convenient), I also never have a purse or bag with me. And today I had on a tank top and shorts. So I’m not sure what I would be stealing and where I would put it but cameras can easily show I did not. No one should EVER feel that way or be accused as I was today. Before this I loved this location issues and all, but after this I will not return EXCEPT for to return tomorrow with my $5 toy box and show exactly what caused that sensor to go off and the receipt showing purchase.

Great place with great prices. They have quite a variety of things they sell. If you don't check out there clearance your missing out! Wish they were open later though. They have helpful sales people and are a fairly clean and organized store.

Can't get down the aisles for all the boxes & carts. Half of the shelves are empty. I've stopped there twice this week just to stay away from Walmart. I'll just go to Walmart from now on. The older lady at the register never spoke. Even when asked how are you & thank you. Made me feel like I was unwelcome in her store. The young lady trying to stock was helpful and friendly. A simple hello goes a long way.

There has been carts of merchandise and racks sitting up and down isles for years. You cant get to the shelves for them. The whole store is a mess. By far the most unorganized least stocked DG I have been in.

This was by far my worst experience at a Dollar General. When I entered the store it was 48° outside but they have the front door propped open. When I walked a little further back I could smell cigarette smoke inside the store and then I had to walk through a maze of boxes and crates to try to get to the item I wanted. I had to move boxes stacked waist-high to get to what I wanted. After I grabbed my item I went to the front to check out . During that 8 minutes I stood there with no one else in line I had to listen to the cashier talk to another woman about blowing out curly hair and head lice . She finally decided to finish her conversation and come ring me up . The store was an absolute mess and completely disorganized period there is no reason why I had to wait 8 minutes to check out and yes, I was clearly in her line of sight but her conversation what's more important than this paying customer period I will never again go to this Dollar General!!!

Oru local Dollar General is more than just a discount store. It's a friendly place to shop, where every customer is greeted when they come in the door and encouraged to ask for help if it's needed. The staff are all polite, helpful and courteous. Dollar General is one of my favorite places to shop.

Usually always has tons of stock in walkways,register backs up fast cause cashier usually person also trying to put out stock.sales not set correctly. This particular cashier was very helpful and pleasant.

all these Dollar Store's that's been built out in the country is actually one of the best thing's that's ever happened, they have so much more product's than the country store's that did fill our communities but that's the very sad part about it & even though we're fortunate to still have some Mom & Pop old store's around the Dollar Store's has saved me many more miles to town, their prices vary greatly & it's not a good thing but I figure what I save on gas all & all I come out to the good

On many items the price isn't on the product or the shelf. However the cashiers are always avaliable to scan the items for the price.

They are to lazy to have someone at the checkout and can’t even stack there shelf’s so I would just go to Walmart that’s right next to it. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Only one cashier and hate ant the word I would use for the store works. Hate I could say cell phone provide me Dollar general helps us with alot of supplies.pase could pick up both reg. Could be clearing a line out faster people fuss do to one cashier and two people standing there. Looking at you. Drag not friendly no smiles angry people. Thats contagious. That's a big deal

The aisles were full of carts with stock on them. couldn't look at what I needed the carts were everywhere. and employees were outside smoking not working. stood at checkout while they smoked. could not be interrupted.

I left without purchasing anything. The story was literally so piled up you could not get thru the isles. Boxes, carts, etc were everywhere. I could not even get to the products. This store (Jacksboro Tn) along with many other DG Stores are the same.

The wholr store looked ransacked. All merchandise was still fresh from the truck. Almost every single wall space and end cap spaces were full of merchandise yet to be put away. Ive seen alot of messy and disorganized stores but this one takes the cake

Quite honestly, I only go with the $5 off coupon and use it to buy pet food. I've been to several and it's hard not to find one that is not cluttered to some degree. As well as merchandise here and there that needs to be stocked.

Everything was great from my experience just one thing that was wrong was i went to the bathroom and it looked like nobody had cleaned the bathroom in over a week! But other than the bathroom everything else was good from the dollar General.

My go to store for quick pick ups but the store was in chaos today. Couldn't get through the aisles for carts of boxes. Very aggravating, but still love the store

Fair service, not the fastest check out due to two employees out back smoking leaving only one to run register. Needs cleaned and re organized badly store a bit crowded and messy.

I always run to this store. They almost have everything I need. If we could turn it into one of those huge dollar general stores...the ones like Walmart....that would be awesome . This store saves me a trip to middlesboro at least 3-4 times per week.

It was good but they need to get there restrooms fixed and working so the customers can use them everytime i go in there its either locked or out of order please get them fixed thank you

I found wrapping paper, bows, and cards for a nephew's birthday. Would have given more stars but some of the other aisles in the store were unkempt.

This place is always a mess. I honestly cant stand to go in here. But when you are in a hurry and dont want to face walmart its worth an in and out trip for the little things.

Store isnt organized well stock is at the end of the isle not put up. And it's the same story as Walmart not enough cashier's

Didnt have a million carts in the way like some other stores. Kind of a weird lay out from other stores though.
