Very clean and quiet. I always judge a motel on the type of coffee maker they provide, and if they have a bath tub instead of just a shower. This motel has both a tub with plenty of hot water, and the kind of coffee maker where you can brew your own, if you happen to be traveling with your own coffee grinds.

I’ve been to Marriott, Hilton etc my whole life, but I was driving through and figured I’d save some money. I regret it. There was no super clear evidence of risk beside minor spotting on sheets and carpets, but overall poor construction (peeling paint in bathrooms, broken and mismatched tile, vanity broken off on one side and sunk an inch), cleanliness (grimy door frames, hair in shower) and lack of peace of mind (loud, rattling AC unit, light pollution from outside) made for a dreadful night’s sleep. Spend the extra $40 to go to a main line hotel chain. The peace of mind is worth it.Rooms: Not overtly dirty, but not spotless. Loud, out of date and grimy. I was constantly worried about bugs or break ins.

We stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham at Hurricane Mills on our way to and from Missouri on our way to Virginia for vacation purposes. It is a very nice hotel to stay in. Very clean and well kept. It is always quiet and the other people staying there are very considerate of each other. The property is very clean and well kept. It has a television, microwave, and small refrigerator. Nice place just for an overnight stay.Rooms: King Size Beds, Double Beds, Nice Size, Wall Heater, Big BathroomSafety: Key card. Safety is no issue.Walkability: Area eating establishments across the street from the hotel in walking distance.Food & drinks: Available in the front lobby area.Noteworthy details: Small Refrigerator, Microwave, Television

Weeds outside were knee high, looks unkempt. Room was overall dirty, stains on the floor, etc. Front desk was ok. We come thru area on business quite often, this has been added to the nope list.Noteworthy details: Other hotels in area, appeared much cleaner.

Rooms very dirty with mold in bathroom when confronted about the mold to potentially get a cleaner/ better room they immediately knew of the mold I was referring too and tried telling me that it wasn’t mold. They refused to offer a new room and told me if I wanted a clean room I’d have to go elsewhere. So that I did. Would not recommend staying here.

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever had the distinct displeasure of staying at. It is shockingly filthy with dried boogers all over the bedspread, severe water damage on the walls and ceiling, and dirty sheets. Lock broken, can only imagine why. The 2 stars is for not having bedbugs, at least from what I can see. If this is what some reviewers standards of clean are, I shudder to think of what they find dirty.

Can’t says anything bad.. good customer service! The rooms aren’t anything to wright home about but they do seem to be from the 1970’s. In a positive note the shower reminds me of my grandmothers house, the crystal clear turn knobs all three that rotate the opposite ways. More of a throwback hotel than a cheap one. Extra star for responding to comments and actually caring outside of the vintage feel.

I was told maybe I need to reconsider my stay bc my son has autism. BY THE OWNER!!!!. There is a young guy and a lady that works there and they are sweet but the owner is very rude. He backed into my son, who was standing still, and said I needed to watch him. Made a scene about how I opened the curtains, yelled at me for talking to him under the plastic piece in the office bc "we could get sick from one another" but yet came into our room just inches from me with no issue (no mask). I asked to switch to a non-smoking room bc we were in a smoking room and I have a toddler, he yelled at me saying NO BC I ALREADY SMELLED LIKE SMOKE, needless to say it's not worth 101$ a night but we had to have somewhere to stay for the meantime. Rooms were very dirty, feet were black within 3mins out of shower and yes I washed my feet. Only seen 1 roach in bathroom. Room service ppl were very kind and understanding. Needless to say, health inspection needs to go check the place out. Won't let me show pics I took. I've NEVER in my life got dirty feet like that, that quickly... 0⭐!!!!!!!Rooms: EXTREMELY outdated and filthy ... And not bc of room service.

We roamed for so long at 7 am looking for a place to stop for a few hours of shuteye. This place came in clutch.This place provided afforadbly priced rest, and was lenient on cutoff times.Staff is incredibly patient and nice! I wish we could have used the pool, it looked clean!Rooms: Fridge was small but cold! Water pressure was good, room was exceptionally clean for the price!Safety: Well lit area, not much to worry about.Walkability: Gas station within walking distance if you need snacks!Noteworthy details: Pool looked well maintained! I wish we had had time to use it!

Excellent value for the price. There were a few small things wrong, like the door latch being broken and the peephole plugged, but no one tried to murder me in my sleep so it turned out fine. Comfy, clean, extra pillows.

Ever year around the concerts at loretta lynn's ranch my cousin and I stay here , I have only had few issue and those issues were,the door latch didn't work and the freezer did not work, but Neal was helpful and came and fixed what he could at the time. The beds are very comfortable,unlike most hotel/motel beds. . In fact we will be staying there soon ..

This place left a lot to be desired. Their pricing, given their location, would make one think that it is a decent place. The service at the front desk was ok, though we didn't require much. However, the level of disrepair was almost scary, as you can see on the photos. The room was fairly clean, and that and our late arrival were the reasons we stayed. There was not even a cup of coffee to be had, and though there was a coffee maker in the room, it didn't work. It was hard to wash your hands at the sink because the water flow was right against the back edge of the basin. This place definitely needs attention. Would not stay there again.

Worst service with a racist American hating owner. Very rude and clearly mentally unstable owner! Threats to call police if you get more than 2 of the junk food breakfast (only breakfast offered is muffins, pastries). They small clear fridge all other motels put yogurt and creamer inside if he will scream stay out of fridge if you try to get creamer for your One free coffee. The beds had huge dip inside of. Stripped bed to see why and discovered huge biohazard where clearly they tried to clean up a large bloody mess. Refused to change room or give credit. Very angry mentally unstable owner. Avoid at all cost. Rooms are nasty. Coffee pot has mold and filth corrosion on and inside of it. See photos. He was very angry I told him he couldn’t charge me pet rent for my registered (showed dogs ID card with his photo) then he demanded I tell him what my disability is and how my could does anything. This man and his wife are the most untrained, unprofessional and American gating people I’ve EVER encountered. They have no clue how real motels operate or what an ADVERTISED BREAKFAST should have and to threaten to call police because some tried to get two tiny coffees at the free cold tiny pastry only breakfast, plus if you tried to have 3 small muffins he was standing over you threatening police if got anything else. Very strange owners. Not disability trained and insult guest more than helping them. This man was snooping outside my ground floor room and made me and my daughter feel very unsafe. He and his wife told me I had to come to office to return door card then told me I must stay and wait while they inspect my room to decide if additional charges were needed. I walked out and refused to stay. He said he’s calling police. I was lucky enough to find the sheriff deputy sitting across from gas station. They are very familiar with these crazy owners and clearly told me I didn’t have to stay and told me I was smart to take photos upon renting and leaving so could prevent the fraudulent charges! If they threaten you with police please have them call because police will educate them AGAIN!

The only good thing about this hotel is it was close to where we were going and the parking lot adjoins a great restaurant. The air conditioner in the room was set on 68 all night and we woke up to a crisp 81.4 degree INSIDE the room while it was 67 degrees outside this morning. We asked to be moved but was told put a box fan in front of it. Luckily we actually had one but it only circulated the hot air. I'm not even gonna go into the moldy and mildew room. Will never stay here again.

Worst experience ever with the Days Inn owner working the front desk. He was extremely rude to my family when we tried to get room. He decided not give us a room as he did not like our answer as to the type of pet we had. He told us that he owned the property and he would call the cops if I did not leave immediately. Please do not give your business to this rude owner at the Days Inn in Hurricane Mills, TN.

After driving 10 hours straight from Texas at 5 am, I got off the interstate and found this Days Inn. I wasn’t expecting much, I’m used to traveling this trip and all of the motels I stay at along the way are pretty much garbage. But the man who checked me in was so polite and interested in where I was going (to NY). The TV is nice and the rooms are pretty clean. The only complaint I have is that it’s VERY overpriced ($90 for one night by myself). I’ve never been to a Days Inn this expensive, and it’s not just me wondering either based on the other reviews. Either way I’m grateful I found this place - definitely one of the better motels I’ve stayed at and didn’t feel like I was gonna get murdered which is new for me.

My favorite hotel to stay in. So close to everything in hurricane mills. The owners and the big guy that works nights are very nice people that work hard. The hotel is always clean and quiet.. They have a quick grab n go breakfast 3 kinds of muffins and the coffee is good and hot. If I needed more than that mac Donald's right across the road. Always a great place to stay👍

Front desk staff was lovely. Helpful and courteous. The room was clean With no complaints there. The location is rough, it's really loud on the front side of the hotel. If I stayed here again, I would get a room on the back side. And in room 106, the air conditioner sounds like it's working pretty hard. It didn't keep me awake, but a lighter sleeper may have had a problem might have a problem.

Got off interstate around 11pm. Was going to rent at first or second motel off exit but saw riffraff hanging around so went down just a bit and found this Days Inn. Very quiet. Check in was easy and efficient. Very nice young man on nights. Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. My elderly mother was very comfortable and at ease and that says it all for me. Would definitely recommend and may stay on our return home. Never know where we'll make it to so cant reserve.
