The store is always oranized. The staff are friendly. The best soda prices in town. My digital coupons always work, in one instance a coupon was not applicable to the product I had at check out, so the clerk got another associate to bring me the product that was applicable for the coupon. Very helpful team.

The girl at the register was real friendly, & even though she was the only worker there she tried her best to help everyone while she kept a smile on her face! The store itself was clean, some aisles had too much clutter. The bathroom area needs help! The toilet wasnt clean, it doesnt flush, & the garbage was running over!

This store has "odor" issues and the stock is generally a mess and boxes sit at entry into the aisles blocking much of the stock on the shelves. Many times the drink specials are not available due to bulk buying by local convenience store merchants. Used to be one of my favorite stores in our town.

Just out of response to what the Julia girl posted on the reviews. I was there the night that happened and the assistant wasn’t aggressive or anything when she approached you guys. She had a woman approach her crying her eyes out and she then had a duty to gather information. Like his name, so the girl could file a report. I’m sure the other stuff did happen with Facebook or whatever but that doesn’t mean that it’s dollar generals fault that another customer downed your son publicly online. I saw the post too and dollar general wasn’t involved in what happened online. All I’m saying is I see why it would upset you but don’t take it out on the employee who was just trying to do her job. If you were working somewhere and a customer approached you with what the girl did then you would have a duty to assist her and have you tried contacting the store manager and seeing if she could assist you in your experience? I know since Heather took over that store it’s been nothing but absolute progress in customer service and the products in stock. The store is cleaner than ever. I’m sure she would be happy to help you in any way she can.

Always enjoy my trip to out local DG! The employees are beyond helpful and friendly, very tidy store too! Most DG'S are a wreck, due to messy lazy customers usually, but ours in Hohenwald is always nice and clean, well orginazed and well stocked. The only complaint I have is that it's always so hot in there, if I get hot being in there 30mins I can't imagine how the employees feel. Great store thou!!Edit: UPDATE This store has seen massive turn over in the past year its crazy!! I can't really review the employees cuz i don't ever get to see them but more than once or 2x.,hopefully that will change!

This visit to DG was not a good experience! Customer Service at check out has not been fully trained using Debit cards along with other cards to pay for a purchase! She also worked so slow that it took forever to check 1 person out! There were about 10 ended up standing, in line waiting, because of this! If you need to be somewhere, with an appointment, I advise not to go to DG here, before hand! I'm sure all check out customer service are not all this slow & under trained, but this one was!

It was like all dollar stores. Cludered tight and idles full of stuff in walk way. They never have dr pepper in cans seems like. But wat ticked me off . Is I walk in wearing a mask and the boy that called me out few days before that soon as I opened door. Telling me I had to ware mask was talking to someone without one. So I get my stuff get to counter and he says your nose must be covered also. So I told him. About him not saying something to his buddy he said he not see him .. ok wat ever

No AC? Ongoing issue it seems... New employees aren't very friendly or helpful. I miss the girls who use to work there- always helpful and greeted everyone as they came in the store.

Worst shopping experience ever! Do not shop here! I pulled in looking for a yoga ball and I let my mentally disabled son get out to take some pictures of the moon as long as he puts the camera away before entering the store. A very paranoid customer went to the assistant manager, named Nicky, and complained that my son was taking pictures of her and her children. When I was pulling out Nicky came chasing after me as if I stole something and started banging on my truck window. I opened the door and she started threatening me saying she would call the cops on my disabled son if he was taking pictures of this woman and her children. She made an embarrassing scene for no reason. I offered to let them see the pictures of the moon but they turned me down. She went back into the store then ran out again and pounded again on my window. Then she asked for my sons name. I gave it to her thinking she just wanted it in case the woman wanted to call the authorities. Then she said we could go.If I wasn't in such a hurry I would have gone to speak with the paranoid woman. But I went ahead and went home thinking I will just call the CEO on Monday and let him take care of this matter.Later that evening my daughter found some pictures of my son on some girls Facebook profile stating that my son was some kind of child predator and for people to watch out for him if they ever see him in public. I was fit to be tied! The post was shared multiple times with many derogatory comments about my son.Apparently one of the woman's underage friends decided to post it on Facebook with pictures of my son. So the woman was accusing my son of taking pictures of her and her family, when in fact the whole time it was HER taking pictures of MY son! Then she proceeded to publicly destroy my son's reputation on Facebook!Many laws were broken that day, and not by my son! For one thing this woman and Nicky, the store assistant manager, violated my son's first amendment right by stating that my son was not allowed to take pictures in a public place. Even if he had taken the woman's picture, which he did NOT! As long as he did not use it in any way without her permission then he would have been in his rights. 2nd was defamation of character, they publicly accused him of basically being a petophile,d online. 3rd they cyber bullied my son. 4th they violated copyright laws by publicly posting two pictures of my son. 5th disabled abuse! And I am sure their are many more laws that I did not list.I checked his camera and her picture was never even there. All he had was pictures of the moon. So hundreds or maybe even thousands of people shared this post and decided that they all wanted to prosecute my son without knowing both sides of the story. I thought in America that people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. I am sure our fore fathers are rolling in their graves along with millions of our service men and woman that have died for our freedom and rights in this country, to see that they died in vain just for our country to turn into what it is today. I am honestly very disappointed in these people that just share these posts without the proper information. I can just imagine how many innocent people have had their lives destroyed by social media. Honestly I don't think the human race is ready for social media just yet.I really hope Nicky is happy with herself. She decided that she wanted to be some kind of hero to this psycho woman and single-handedly destroyed my innocent, disabled sons reputation, world wide!She was not in her right to even get involved in the matter. For one thing it happened outside of the store. For another I happen to know, since my other son worked at a Dollar Genetal, that it is against their store policy to chase customers out of the store unless they were shoplifting. If the customer makes it outside they are to let them go for their own safety.Bottom line: I Will NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! Thanks Nicky for an unforgettable shopping experience, I will be sure to tell all my friends how you treat your customers!!

It’s a nice place with nice workers. It’s kinda small but is service dog friendly. I had my service dog in training there and they was super friendly and no one bothered us.
