Awesome place! Had to have our fur baby put down, due to health problems recently. Very professional and understanding staff! So much compassion. We even received a sympathy card a few weeks later! Definitely recommend!

Just moved back to Tennessee and had an appointment set up with them for our dogs. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I am glad we got set up with them! I would highly recommend chester county animal hospital to anyone that needs vet services!

I read a few reviews that says this place is horrible but I have to disagree I went with an emergency they talked to right away we did have to wait in the car due to parvo which I completely understand they offered everything they could and we are now hoping our little baby Samson makes it. I will say they were extremely professional and very polite answered every question I had. I do highly recommend here as it was also recommended to me and I was not let down

Dr. Jacobs and Dr. Box are fantastic. I'll never forget the kindness they and their staff showed us when we had to say goodbye to our 11.5 years old goldendoodle. They are wonderful, I always recommend them to everyone!

They are very nice and compassionate about there jobs and they animals they take care off. They have always taken care of our pets with compassion, and love. We love the staff and the way they treat our pets.

Well I had called to make an appointment for my dog that had an episode the night before whether he had a stroke or a seizure at this point I don't know? So my appointment with dr. Jacobs was for 8:45 . So my husband and I arrived with our dog only for the receptionist to tell me it was going to be a $65 walk-in charge and a 3-hour wait I said but I made an appointment she actually made the appointment. And I'm not a walk-in my dogs have been coming here for eight years now this isn't right ! I'm not a person that just walked in off the street with a stray dog. I was never told on the phone that there was going to be a $65 fee for a walk in when I assumed I had an appointment . Unfortunately for that being said I will be changing Vet's it's sad to say that I've been there for eight years and you pull this me furthermore I've never just walked in . Again I called and they made an appointment for 8:45.

Love to this [lace stole my dog. I think everyone should know the truth about this place. They stole my dog. Because one of the staff there wanted her that's the long and short of it. They are so unprofessional that when I called to talk to someone about the dog I got hung up on. I acted like that when I was 5 years old. {please can't tell you enough not to use this place if you love your pet

Wonderful people that saved my pups life, he had a surgery that only 50% of younger dogs survived and being he is considered a senior they worked wonders in my eyes. They took us in with open arms after 2 vets we work with all the time turned us away saying they did not have opens or time for us. Bloat and Stomach torsion would have killed our pup.I would recommend then in a heart beat

VERY disappointed in our visit today. Brought a puppy by twice to be seen due to seizures she's having. First time the vet wasn't even there. Second time we went, we were told we had to wait in the car due to parvo, which she has no signs of. But when we told her we didnt have air in our car, we were then told we weren't even allowed to put her down on the ground. After 30 mins of standing outside in over 100 degree weather with a yelping and squirming puppy, we left. Not one regaurd was given for us or the screaming puppy. And this was my only day off for the next 2 weeks. I will never try to give my business to this place again and if you have an animal you need seen urgently this definitely is NOT the place to go. Go anywhere but here!!

I had to have my Sophie Grace cat put to sleep today. Dr Box and the staff at CCAH were absolutely amazing. They were so kind and professional and made this terrible situation so much easier. I can never thank them enough for their kindnes.

I always feel welcome there. The staff is super knowledgeable and treat my pup as their own. I can't wait to see what the new building looks like from the inside. Both vets are equally kind.

The care is great. The staff is nice. But since the this veterinarian took over some years back she has gone up on prices for services at least 6-8 times. Mom n dad have several pets. I used to take my dog and cat there as well. Every office visit has cost different everytime. From sterilization to shots to dental cleaning to euthazing. And they don't spell out their fees. Mom had an old family pet euthanized, she was quoted $40. But her card was charged $76. They "forgot" to mention the $36 office visit fee. My mom is on a very fixed income. If I didn't have the money to help her, her bills would have resulted in several overdraft charges. I'm irritated because this is not the first time this has happened with this veterinarian. I take my animals elsewhere but mom is staying with this vet because it's the only one in chester county. Maybe there should be a second choice?

There's no place like home....for your furballs! I don't think there's a better place to take your pets to! I'm well satisfied with how they have treated all of my pets! They've treated all my lion head rabbits( I had 65), all of my cats....even boarding my sweet Pumbaa( cat) for a little over a week. I was so pleased to see he had gained weight while being in their care. Obviously they took really good care of him! Thanks goes out to all the young ladies at Chester County Animal Hospital!!! I love you gals!!!

My dog was in the end stage of congestive heart failure and I had to make the hard decision to end her suffering. The staff were so compassionate both to my sweet girl and to me. A few weeks later I received a card in the mail with my dogs paw print, a handwritten note from the vet, and signed by the entire hospital staff.

Not Trustworthy. They will let you in without mask if they know you. If not they expect you to sit outside and just hand them money. I had just moved to this area of Tennessee and wanted to establish my dog with a new veterinarian locally. My wife and I were told every month for six months to call back in 2 weeks lobby will be open. Obviously this is not true they are currently curbside to date. Being a Military veteran with my ESA dog I wanted to see the inside of the New facility and meet the Vet that would be tending to my dog. I wasn't wanting special treatment but to be treated fairly as I have watched others walk into this establishment without a mask and stayed inside with their pet. After seeing others go inside I decided to call and ask again if I could bring my dog inside to get him established for the 1st time. The woman who answered the phone didn't answer right away she said "ummmmmm hold on" Now I'm not a detective but if your not letting people in then a quick answer of no would have been just fine. When she got back to the phone she said give us a call in 2 weeks. I started to chuckle as I knew they were letting friends and people they know inside. I explained to her that that's the answer that I get every time it would make me feel more comfortable even if I had to wear 10 masks to be inside when my dog gets established for the very 1st time. I also explained to her what I have observed on a personal basis of others going inside this establishment people I personally know that worker for the state of Tennessee that was able to bring their dog inside on several occasions. The woman decided to get angry with me and told me they don't want my business and I should go somewhere else. After that disgusting attitude and treatment I would never spend my there. When you call people on their BS they tend to get defensive. After that I was called several times by the Veterinarian herself. The 1st thing she says when I pick up the phone and answer is I heard you got hostile with one of my employees. Now I was calm in explaining the situation to her employee and never got hostile with her employee the veterinarian at this point was yelling at me. I told her I don't know who you think you are calling my personal phone and yelling at me but this conversation is over and hung up the phone. This veterinarian has the audacity to call me back again on my personal phone and harass me. She starts to explain her policy and why some people can come inside with their animal if their animal is aggressive or doesn't want to come in the door or if their euthanizing the animals. I asked her would I not fall into a special category of someone who is establishing their animal for the 1st time who has never met you and has never seen the inside of your facility. She says she understands my concern but they get to pick who comes inside and who doesn't. And that someone in her family has asthma and she has to pregnant employees working there that don't want to catch Covid. I explained to her that I have personally witnessed persons entering without mask and personally know state employees that have been inside without a mask. So I call BS on being scared of Flu 19. At this point I have already determined that I would definitely not be doing business with this establishment so this conversation needed to Go-no-further. I did let her know that I refused to set out in a parking hand you $350 you take my dog inside and come back outside and that's it. Hope that others have a more pleasant experience than I did. BTW they put up new signs on their door that wasn't there before. Hmmmm makes you wonder.

I called this morning at 8:04am and spoke with one lady who after I told what was going on with my fog said to bring her in at 3:30 pm and then when I pull up in the parking lot and I called to let them know I was there at 3:25pm another lady said we don’t make appointments that I MUST HAVE HEARD wrong and I MISUNDERSTOOD cause it’s 2:30-p work ins only. That I will have to wait. I told her no I did not misunderstand the lady I spoke with at 8:04 specifically said 3:30 this afternoon. She then said very rudely that I’ll have to wait an hour. If I take my dog back today I will never return I’ll go to selmer instead which is 20 mins away than ever go here again. Customers beware!!!!

Our rescue dog of 11 years had to be put down. Sad to say that heartworms were a battle. Hartguard gave him severe seizures and doxy helped but not enough. So heartbreaking but staff very compassionate. He was a big sweet loving dog. :(

My princess was attacked by 3 dogs. They were able to see her immediately & saved her life. Very nice & took my dog's mental state into account along with physical.

I absolutely loved this clinic after my 1st visit. I just wish you could get appointments sooner. I do understand they only have 1 vet. I am hoping to make this our new fur family vet.

Great animal hospital. I called about bringing my cat and 3 kittens in and wanted to know what it would cost. They said they would call me back with an estimate. They texted me the estimate.
