Must watch the prices at the register; on my last trip there were nearly $10 in errors. Milk, meat, & produce all rang up much higher than the advertised prices on the shelves!!! Potatoes rang at $7.99 (should have been 6.79), ham rang at $21.68 (should have been $14.42), milk rang at 3.99 (should have been $2.99)I love food city but we have to get those prices on the shelves right for the customers thanks for your prompt attention

Went to harriman food city this evening & once again, it costed way more than it should have. The items ring up for a much higher price than listed on the shelf. The cashier seemed annoyed that I asked about it & as usual she said there's nothing they can do about it. I asked if there was someone I could speak to about it & she said no bc the person that changes the shelf prices only does it once a week & "it's a lot so they can't get everything". I've gotten used to the teenagers being rude & too busy flirting to do their job, but getting scammed out of my money is unacceptable. Kingston food city is a lot further away but I'll be making the drive from now on.

Great store, like most Food City stores. They are a bit smaller than most, I believe. Just be mindful of checking out, especially late at night. There are no self checkouts at the store and they usually only have one or two cashiers later at night, so if there is a line, expect to wait a bit.

my pizza is expired!!! I went to the store and got a screaming sicilian pizza and I look at the box as soon as I get home and its expired! and I got to the register and there were 2 girls sitting there goofing off. one of their names were Hannah and I don't know the other ones name but she was blonde. they were laughing at my resting face and saying, "she looks like she is not having it." and pointing at me. they were very rude and problematic. I am never purchasing this pizza again.

Your average Food City but their beer cooler has been broken for about 2 months and I've mentioned it several times and they have made no effort to repair it and continues to sell hot beer!!

Convenient location but very small store with limited options. Veggie / Fruit section is almost non existent and prices overall are very high. I once stood at the deli counter for over 10 minutes (they were not busy, I was the only one there) and was ignored by multiple employees until finally someone came so I could pick up an order my work ordered. I prefer UGO or Kroger.

Horrible Deli. Deli Manager. Needs updating. Quicker check out. Be prepared to not get what you want and have to wait in line while checking out for a ridiculous amount of time. Desperately needing an update. And a better Deli... I hope yall change quickly... or no more Harriman Foodcity for my family!

Small enough for it not to wear me out..big enough to have what I need. I like the fact I don't have to search for a parking place that ends up a country mile away.If they see you struggling which I often do they'll offer help out with the bags and if their real busy they get someone if I ask.And they've always been so nice other than one time long ago and I didn't blame the store for that.(I've never seen that rude cashier since). They can compete easily with the bigger stores for these reasons alone.I love the fresh fruit!

Great place to shop. They have good prices. They are very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy however I would not ever recommend to anyone. The Pharmacy is not friendly and very unprofessional. They have denied prescriptions that my doctor called in. Some medication they just refused to fill. They have no idea the reasoning behind the medicine being called in, nor should they have the authority to tell a customer they cannot have it. So no the pharmacy I would say is a one star if even that. But a good place to shop. Great deals most of the time.

Went to Food City to pick up collard greens. They looked a bit mess. The bunches were small, wilted, and yellow. 12 bunches were $35.00 dollars, they're going back tomorrow. On the flip side the manager was very nice.Update: The return was less than cordial. The customer service lady was rude, I'm never going back!ps...I got 1 bunch of greens at Krogers for a few cents less, BUT their bunches were 3 times bigger than food city, the leaves were bigger, and they were much better looking.

I like the small size of this store. It's faster and less tiring to shop here than the giant stores. Helpful clerks and good prices. The bowls of cut_up fruit are delicious.

I have to say, for a store not in a big city center, this store is very nice. It's not located near my home so I don't usually shop here, but it has everything I usually buy. I just happened to stop in looking for a different selection of beer...and WOW! I was surprised. They even have a section where you can mix and match a six pack if you want a little variety. Their wine selection looked impressive as well.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store. Floors were shiney, store was well stocked and plenty of help working.Take only drawback from 5 stars was the hot food area! This store is way to small for this feature and whatever the hot food is a guessing game?The entrees looked so bad ( no tags), I could not identify them! It also. Looked like nothing was sold all day.I must be honest about this area. It is the weakest area in all their stores and cannot pay for itself.RegardsLarry H.

I really never shipped at Food City until I worked there. They are what a real grocery food chain should be, connected in every aspect of the business. From the products they sale to the donations the employees take out of their checks every week to help their fellow employees in time of need. This is truly a family business! Keep up the good work!

I was just visiting an ex boyfriend who resurfaced after a while. The room looked fine. I don't think it was an expensive room, as he doesn't have much money. So for being inexpensive and not bad from what I saw I would say it's a good deal. I will say that it looks like it might be sketchy from outside, but other than my ex, I didn't see anyone sketchy walking around.

Service has definately gone down-hill, l never know what sort of treatment I'll get. Perhaps if management were to improve so would that of your employees, in particular the young folks whom could learn valuable lessons on how to succeed on their fist job, instead of how to just get by.

This is a great place with great people and they are also open an hour later than Walmart. This is a better choice to shop. My boy Boo loves the dog treats.

Great, I shop here a lot. The only thing they should consider changing is updating their deli. It looks old and dirty, even if they clean it consistently. Maybe moving the rotisserie to a less visible spot would help make it look cleaner, or putting a metal plate on the front so you can't see the glass with drippings on it.
