Strawberries were on sale 3 for $10. Don't know if they are any good, but they looked really good. We come here often because it is close to home. So far, we haven't had a bad experience with the staff at this store.

While working for a while near this location on Andrew Johnson Hwy in Greeneville Tennessee I came to love the Food City Super burger. Twice I have attempted to drive back here to have the burger I came to love. The first time I viewed the weekly flyer for this store and the Super Burger was on special. The ad stated available until 7:00PM, so I told my wife let’s drive over and get one. We arrived about 5:15PM to be informed that the grill closed at 5:00PM. So, while disappointed we just accepted that this was a misprint in the ad. On May 3, 2024 we tried again for lunch at 1:00PM. We were informed on this occasion that both of their grill cooks were on lunch and we couldn’t order a burger today either. This time I have to state my opinion. I have managed businesses before and if you are going to have a grill and serve lunch why in the world would management allow both grill cooks to be on lunch? This makes no sense, and the schedule could be arranged in a way this would not happen. Not only was I dissatisfied, but Food City did not make a sale. The first time was false advertisement and the last time was just stupid. Going forward I don’t know if I’ll buy groceries or the elusive super burger here again. There are other places I can buy both.

I never really liked shopping here in the past but it's starting to grow on me. I get some pretty good deals on some of the things that I like. To be honest I am a pretty picky shopper.I don't buy meats here or produce.I do buy 2 gallons of milk and get $ 1 off. Good deal on Baskin-Robbins icecream. I recently tried their chocolate and chocolate peanut butter swirl. not good. There chocolate just doesn't taste like chocolate. Not enough flavor.Thanks Food City for making me like shopping at the store more and more.

The employees at this food city are off the chain friendly. Hell, one dude at checkout, took money from his pocket and paid for a few items that I needed(because I'm on chemotherapy) and for some reason my check didn't go through like usual. Thank you for city for your generosity and professionalism. And don't think that they don't have the most fresh produce and most awesome members deals. Their bogo's are so rude to their competition with your rewards card, usually and I save mega bucks with food city fuel and fuel bucks from your rewards card. Can't keep the deli properly stocked. I buy the adult chicken salad lunchboxes few times a week. Half the time I go in they are not there. I managed a grocery store.....if something is out in the deli or bakery it gets replaced the SAME day. Otherwise you lose sales. People can't buy something if it's not available......also, everytime this happens i immediately go to Ingles and get a chicken salad pita even though I don't prefer it. You are losing sales to your competitor when it's easily prevented

Really gone down hill, prices are higher than ingles and even Publix on many items, produce is aged and spoils within a day of getting it home. this store used to be fantastic but now it's run down, dirty and unkempt.

Very clean store! The aisles are roomy and items ez to locate. There's great variety in the products, and good deals w/Food City card. Deli is delicious! Try the (green) Pistachio muffins, heavenly!! And kudos for supporting the Shelters, animal and human, with the donation bags.

Lots of locations, and full service grocery store. The meat department is the best around here. Meat ground, sliced and served fresh daily. like everyone else they are going to self checkout so you will wait for a cashier and small wait to self checkout.

Have always liked Food City. Do not agree with employees having to be vaccinated or be ridiculed by fellow employees. Last time I looked that is text book bullying!!But they do have good meat and competitive prices. The lady at most counter was courteous and very helpful.

Produce department is all fresh fruit and veggies. Did not see any spoiled or rotting. The store is clean. Reminded me of Wegmans Supermarkets.Two employees are at each check-out. One takes the grocery cart, unloads your groceries, and scans the items, while the second person bags your order and places it in a cart for the customer to take to their vehicle. Very efficient and it reduces the checkout time.

I waited last minute to get a cake. Gina in the bakery was so helpful and friendly and willing to do a last minute cake order. She gave me options and put me on hold a few times to check on availability for certain aspects of the cake. Her friendliness made my morning.

Great store, good sales, produce is always great compared to other grocery stores in town. Friendly employees. Excellent Bakery. Recently needed a cake for my 16 yr olds birthday. Had no idea what to do to make it special. Employee asked me what she liked, looked it up on her phone & helped design a cake special just for her :) Above and beyond if you ask me!
