No one wants to work. Forced to use self checkout lanes. I already worked my 14 hours and I don't want to come to pilot to do more work. I don't force you to drive my truck. Truck drivers should be treated better as your business resolved around the trucking industry. Do better Pilot, I got a thought try hiring people that want to work 😜

DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET!!! Local Police are happily handing out Parking Tickets overnight. And they won’t wake you to tell you to move (not saying they have to as there are Clearly marked NO PARKING signs all down the street). You’ll wake up with a $163.75 parking ticket taped to your drivers window. Ask me how I know🤦🏽‍♂️🙄It is simply a way to steal your money so the police are in charge of doing it. Even in big cities they don't give you those big fines for illegal parking. You can see that the little town urgently needs income and to do so they don't mind giving exorbitant fines. It is a shameless way to steal your money but since they are the police there is no one to blame

Pretty nice gas station, with a friendly staff and large selection. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Located conveniently next to a few restaurants as well, including a Wendy's inside the Pilot.

I come into the one in gordonsville everyday, 4am on way to work for coffee and sandwich for lunch, don't understand how with all the coffee urns, most of the time at that time in morning there is none made. Don't get me wrong, Becky and Tiffany are great, but they're not always there. The old woman on days is the worst. On days off like today I get my cigs there, as I stood at counter for 10 minutes waiting for her as she forced people to use self check out, the people at the end of the long line at self check out started chatting with her, she brought them around to counter, she cut me off as I started asking for cigarettes and told me to move she's needs to take care of those people first this is not the first encounter with granny, I spoke to manager and left without any service

I was actually doordashing when I received an order for a pizza at this pilot this place is always been very friendly and helpful an extremely nice most of all their store inside and out is always super clean including the bathrooms they are always clean and smelling fresh that's why I keep coming back here but today they gave me a pizza because I wanted to try out how their doordash system would work so a lady named Tiffany M put an order in and gave me a pizza what they didn't know was I was down on my luck and having a hard time and hadn't eaten yet this morning so shout out to Tiffany m you're awesome all of you here are keep up the amazing job!!!

Nice place. Seemed to be in a part of town had locals asking to borrow our phone. Store was nice and up to date. Had what we needed may not be safe after dark.

Arrived to this center to replace a blue rhino tank, I respectfully argued with the vice manager about replacing a defective blue rhino tank. However was treated disrespectfully about the matter. Previous months ago they abided by blue rhinos policy which is to replace a defective tank at no cost. The vice store manager argued with me issuing that I would have to have a receipt (not at all what blue rhino's defective replacement policy is) the vice manager threatened to call the police on me only for insisting that they follow the policy held by blue rhino. I was also informed that the facility hung up on blue rhino several times.

You might want to get your employees under control. You do not demand people to use those kiosses when you demand somebody you're going to get a fighting response. You can ask people since you guys have demanded my company to use those kiosses. My people have walked out the doors multiple times and we will continue to do so when you demand us. When we tell you we do not like those kiosses and we we refuse to use them because your employees want to stand around and talk and play on their telephone and do other stuff then help customers at a register. They want to do it the kiosk way

I had occasion to stop at #4597 today and was once again reminded why I avoid your locations like the plague.As I stood in line with my merchandise, I noticed that the lone employee was not behind the counter where she belonged. She was instead out front forcing everyone to use the self checkout machines. When it came my turn, she attempted to get me to check myself out. To which I politely refused and asked her if she did not have a traditional register open. She immediately skipped me and asked the person behind me if they were ready to check out without addressing my question.Rather than make a scene, I stepped back and let others go in front of me and waited till there was no one in line and asked her if she now had time to check me out in the traditional manner. When asked if she had a register open she repeatedly refused to answer and stated she didn’t have time to deal with me. I returned my items to their original locations and walked out.I don’t blame her for following directives from her superiors. I don’t even want her disciplined for her impatience and evasiveness. I do blame upper management for this encounter. I am one of many who refuse to use self checkout machines. I do this in defense of the American worker… the cashier. It’s blatantly obvious that the store is under staffed, overworked, and I suspect underpaid. This is an attempt to reduce payroll to increase profits.So if I make every effort to avoid your store, I must be patronizing another brand. (I have to buy fuel somewhere). What attracts me to that other brand and not you?It’s the friendly faces and clean places. It’s the responsiveness to my feedback. Whether negative or positive, they address my complaint. Their parking is 100% free. Their rewards program is better than yours. But most of all… they don’t have self checkout machines. They recognize the driver’s need to interact with other humans just as we have since business began. Face to face. Any business that prioritizes profits over the dehumanization of its customers will never profit from my presence.

Very open set-up with wide aisles and a great variety of goods for the traveler. A big display of Stuckey's treats caught my eye. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. There's a Wendy's right next door so you can gas up, potty up and pick up a hot lunch or supper in one quick stop.

This location is clean and well stocked. Employees are nice. Truck parking can get a little rough because people don’t care if they’re blocking the pumps, road or eachother. The 5 stars is for the woman manager at 6 am who was willing to help getting people to move when the others wouldn’t. We appreciate her.

They added self checkout since I was here last. The coffee is still good the donuts are as well. Fuel is a bit higher than other places. Bathroom clean and the floors are all clean

Zero stars! Pilot refuses to ring up sales. I had an armload of goods and was told use self checkout or go elsewhere. So no I'm going elsewhere. I will no longer be purchasing anything at a pilot or flying j including 100 gallon plus daily diesel purchases. The last straw has been taken. Love's has a great program and they enjoy ringing out customers.

If your against the self checkout you get an attitude. However, if you get a cashier, take a shower or are interacting with any staff on the floor they are very nice super accommodating. However, for a truck driver certain times it’s hard to get get in and out as it very busy which is expected. Showers are old school with keys which was cool.

Boy, this place is something else, as far as the employees. Just all seemed zoned out and aggravated when I needed to purchase something. Been in here several times today. Already basically wrote the same review for Wendy's inside here. Maybe it's just this location, I don't know, I'm not from around here. Clean restrooms and nice store. The people working it are just weirdly strange. Gonna try avoiding this place in the future.

Just walked out due to total lack of customer service. They wouldn't help me at a regular register. I won't do self check out. That's your job not mine unless you pay me. But it all good my money is green and will spend elsewhere

They have many self serve cash register but no food at 4:15pm. No pizza even though online they say they offer that here. Their excuse, that they are only two people and if someone wants some, they need to tell them so they can make some. Who asks for pizza and wants to wait 10 minuye for a slice when it's usually ready and waiting. Even though they have a Donkin Donuts Express place there, they have no donuts but a note saying something is out of order. Totally unprofessional and disappointing. The employees there they don't seem that they are even trying, which, if they can't , just take these offerings off from this location. This way you're not going to have customers stop by just to see how lazy some of these employees are.

Staff were super friendly! They exchanged a torch lighter out for me. I had purchased the night before but did not realize the trigger lock for the flame did not work.Stopped by the store on my way home the next morning and they took the lighter back with no problem and swapped out for another.I was expecting a hassle because I couldn't find my receipt for the purchase of the lighter the night before.There was no hassle, no fuss, no undue stress..... Just the swift exchange of the lighter and I was out the door and on my way!My thanks to a wonderful crew!
