I go here regularly. Management has really sank the business in the last few years but I really like the staff that's here now. They're really trying to bring the store back to its former glory.

From: Robin RushI walked in Dollar General today to see an amazing transformation of the store, both in appearance and customer service.What had been a mess had miraculously been changed. I had actually avoided the store as much as I could.Good to have Pattie back. I’ve missed people like her in the store. You can NOT put bodies in a store who do not belong in front of people and expect good customer service.She was working right along with Diana and Nick. Btw….kudos to whoever had enough sense to hire them both.The store looked impeccable, customer service was on point, and I will definitely be back.

Friendly workers just need some more workers because they have trouble getting items stocked quickly usually they have carts with items they are stocking blocking the isles hard to move around in store

This is the gordonsville dollar store only. The workers are very nice and friendly but they don’t stock the shelves. They are always out of a lot of items that people need and its sometimes in boxes sitting on the very top shelves products are piled in them or the products are in theIsles still in the crates that came of the delivery truck. If something isn’t done about their non stocking people will go to the other store in Carthage ten they always have what you need. There areToo many young people working in the gordonsville dollar store and not enough supervision

The selection was fairly decent for such a small town, however the checkout line was backed up into the aisle because they only had one cashier. I was just visiting the area because I am from Alabama. It's nothing personal against them. The ones at home are about the same if not worse. The prices were pretty good, but it took me long to pay than it did to shop. Make sure you get a buggy or basket as you will be stuck with your arms full for a good while all because you are waiting to be rung up.

Whoever is running that store clearly needs help or to be replaced. The place was trashed, things all over the floor, shelves empty, no sign of any other employees other than the 1 cashier (which whom was friendly). I’ve never seen such big of a disaster.

Nice employee but lots of items misplaced, not tagged, and not in stock and boxes all in the isles. Every isle to be exact. It's the DG guys. Stop slacking and do your jobs. Ain't no way it could be that hard. Js.

They have a lot of stuff I would not think they would have. For instance I found better storage bins that at Walmart etc & today I found they they have party supplies including helium balloons that you can select!

This Dollar General Store in Gordonsville need help on everything. Check outs you wait and wait to pay for half of the stuff you went into the store to get. The other half isn't there or it is in the back. Only one person working even at night. This is a very sad thing. I hope someone cares about this store and the workers. Donnaeastes@gmail

I love our Dollar General, it is always clean and stocked well. The cashier's are always very polite.

This place is good for things u may need in a hurry, but it is not clean & seems understaffed at times when people are backed up at the register.

Very friendly staff. My only complaint is there is always stuff in the aisles, making it impossible to find the things you're looking for.

I couldn't get down half the isles. They had too many merchandise carts in the way. I was frustrated and didn't even want to look at anything. Just an in and out kinda store.

Not good can't get to nothing for all the buggies in the way and boxes setting everywhere at the Gordonsville Tenn store very dirty don't never sweep the floors and clean.

Even after a remodeling of the store, it still feels crammed together. Staff is nice though.
