Dr. Drew McWatters @ The Pet Hospitial (Wolf River Blvd @ Houston Levee location) does a great job with both our pets. Recently our cat was injured and Dr. Drew explained the situation and our options for treatment. He answers all our questions and we agreed to the best approach for healing. So far so good & we avoided surgery. Can’t thank him enough for his caring attitude to take care of our dog & cat.

He's my baby so I'm hyper aware of his reaction to people and potentially stressful places, but he has definitely found trust and familiarity in his Doctor and the staff at The pet Hospitals!

Excellent experience! We were stationed overseas and our cat, D'Jango, remained in the US with our daughter. Upon our return and relocation to Memphis he needed to get up to date with his shots, exams, etc. The Pet Hospitals provided excellent and incredibly fast service. We took him in on a Friday and his lab results were back by early the next week. He's in great health and, thanks in advance to The Pet Hospitals, we're sure he'll remain so for the foreseeable future. Thanks again for taking care of our cat. He is truly one of the family and we want nothing but the best for him.

We have been taking our dogs there for about 15,more yrs. Started in collierville,visited all.Always very caring.last wed.,we took Murphy to see Dr.McWatters for ck up and evaluate his walking mobility.We examined him and talked with us,took his time to explain to us how we could decide and know when time for us to let go. Said whatever we decided would be the right thing.After we got home,we watched murphy more carefully and nxt a.m.,joe called to bring Murphy in,it was time. Dr Murphy was with patient across hall,saw us there and Dr McWatters&Dr Murphy were both there with us and so sweet and kind. They were with home to the end. We kissed him goodbye and dr Mcwatters called us at home to let us know Murphy wasnt in pain and in heaven. They were so considerate and made it a bit better. Also Wanda came in the room before Murphy was taken back and ask Murphy if he wanted a Hersey bar... she said now he can have anything he wants! First piece she gave him,he dropped,wasnt sure of the texture, ate it and she gave him 2 more delicious pieces that he'd never experienced. That was a happy new experiemce she gave himTk you Wanda...tk you Drs McWatters and Murphy.. and to all the pet hospitals staff. .

We’ve been going to The Pet Hospitals in Germantown (Collierville for boarding and grooming) for over 4 years. Everyone there is wonderful! Both Dr. Kimberly Gaddis and Dr. Maggie Landes saved our dog’s life when he had a mysterious liver infection about 2 years ago. They think outside of the box and really go above and beyond in many ways, always conscious of treatment cost. It is very apparent truly love the animals they treat.

I took my girl to the pet hospitals b/c her regular vet couldn't see her... I saw Dr. Michelle Covington and I really, really liked her. She was wonderful. I almost had no questions b/c she explained everything so thoroughly. My girl tested positive for heartworms & dr covington gave the treatment options & instructions where i could understand. she was so kind and compassionate that i would make this my regular vet if it was closer to my home!

I adopted two cats shortly after moving to TN and took them in for their wellness check a few weeks later. Immediately loved the Pet Hospital, they truly care about my pets, and gave me great advice. They have been in a few times for some common health issues and every time I get follow up calls to check in on how they are doing. Easy to get same day appointments, I get reminder emails for their care and birthdays, and easy to get to.

I have been taking my fur-babies here their entire lives (almost 13 years). The doctors are compassionate, knowledgeable and takes time with each client. I have never felt pressured or had a need for a second opinion. One of my dogs has a rare condition that was discovered partly because of Dr. Covington's swift actions. Even when I lost one of my fur-babies, Dr. Landis was right there. She is so compassionate and really helped through this difficult time. We love and trust Dr. Landis.

I cannot express enough how FABULOUS this vet office is. I am new to TN and needed to establish with a vet and get check ups for my two cats (or babies as the staff refers to them). The many reviews of this location were spot on - Everyone was so friendly from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. They really care about my cats and I never felt rushed. Dr. Covington was very knowledgeable about my Siamese cats dental issues ( more than my previous vet) and my Bengal cats FHO surgery issues.Dr. Covington allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed on my first visit and gave me lots of time and attention. I am beyond happy to have found this veterinarian office and receive such great customer service for me and my cats.

Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Even though this was our first visit, they were able to get our puppy in for an exam within the hour. The veterinarian was very helpful and knowledgeable. This will be my new vet for future visits

We have taken our pets to The Pet Hospitals for 15 years now. Why I now am giving The Pet Hospital a 1 star review, is that I’ve seen things go down hill over the years. We had always used the Collierville location and I have no complaints at all with the Dr’s at that facility. We moved a few years ago and now have been using the Germantown location for our dog and cat.Over these last few years we have seen a steady influx with prices. But that is the way of our current times. I feel like there have been uneccesary testing and medicines suggested to us , almost insinuating that these are necessary. We care about our pets, so will pay what is necessary to keep them healthy. On my last visit for a heart worm injection for our dog I had asked the assistant to ask Dr Newman about a scabby rash on our dog. Her assistant came back and told me Dr Newman has taken a look and knows what it is but won’t tell me unless I pay for an office visit. Mind you we just had an annual well visit that the amount led to over $300 2 weeks prior. I am now furious! Is this how we show caring and compassion for our long term clients and pet? I think not!! The Pet Hospitals and Dr Newman in specific are price gauging and uncaring. I will take my business elsewhere from this point forward. Just beware when choosing Germantown Pet Hospitals and specifically Dr Newman for your pet.

Dr. Newman is so wonderful. My mother recommended her (she is her veterinarian as well for her 3 dogs) and I'm so glad I came here. The facility is very clean and updated, and easily accessible.The vet techs were very nice and gentle, and very helpful and knowledgeable in their field, especially when it came to different kinds of medicines, regional pests/diseases, and vaccines they offered. Plus they loved my Welsh Corgi, Wesley, and were very intent on making sure he was as comfortable as can be.Dr. Newman herself is a very personable, happy person who you can tell LOVES animals, especially dogs. She was sneaking some nose kisses on Wesley while giving him his wellness exam (I've never seen a vet be so affectionate to their patients before!) and it was very sweet. She answered any questions I had and didn't make me feel like I was in the dark about anything.Their prices are very reasonable and affordable, too. I got a full wellness exam, a few vaccines and boosters, plus a full lab/blood work and fecal exam for less than $250. I'd of paid almost twice that at my previous vet in VA.Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Newman at their Wolf River Blvd location in Germantown.

Dr. Mc Watters is our regular doctor, but when we have had to see others due to his absence, they have been wonderful as well. ALL of the vets take time with you about your pet, address your concerns without rushing through the appointment, and they follow up on my babies! LOVE LOVE LOVE The Pet Hospital!!!

I have newly adopted kittens. I have never owned kittens before and the team at the Pet Hospital were friendly and helpful. Dr. Gaddis took great care of them at their first visit and went over and above to make sure they were healthy. From the initial call, check-in, vet tech and vet the team was amazing. The Pet Hospitals Germantown is absolutely amazing. They were able to work me into their schedule when my fur kid experienced an emergency.Once I arrived, they were able to diagnose my dog's illness in a short period of time. The staff is extremely pleasant and professional. They are angels. They made a very scary situation easier to navigate. My fur baby was able to make a full recovery thanks to The Pet Hospitals Germantown! They earned a new, loyal client that day for sure!

This was our first visit to The Pet Hospitals Germantown office. The curbside service was incredible, we were greeted and check in immediately after we arrived, and admitted shortly after. All of the staff we spoke to were welcoming and efficient. I was so impressed by Dr. McWatters’ bedside (curbside) manner, I felt like I was back in a “normal” pet check up. Dr. McWatters was very thorough in explaining treatment and welcomed all my questions, which made me feel confident moving forward. Overall, it was the best experience I’ve had in a veterinarian’s office and we will be bringing all our pets to The Pet Hospitals.

We came to The Pet Hospitals through adopting our dog from Memphis Animal Services. We had been on the hunt for a new vet with our other pets so, I thought we’d take advantage of the free first exam offered by The Pet Hospitals to shelter animals, because why not??I was blown away from the moment I walked in the door to walking back out. The office is very clean and we were greeted immediately with warm smiles and loves for our fur baby. Dr. McWatters and his assistant were very thorough and friendly. I had my wild 2.5 year son along for the 6 weeks puppy’s appointment and they both were very patient with the human babe and the fur babe. They also helped me out to the car with my small circus!We will definitely be back, with the entire rest of our crew!

We have been seeing Dr. Newman for 15.5 years for my dog. She was just as sad as I was when she passed away. After a year of not having any pets, we got two kittens and I can't imagine taking them to anyone else. Before I even got them out of the car, there were two assistants that couldn't wait to see the new kittens and Dr. Newman never rushes through a visit. We always leave knowing she was thorough and wanted to answer any of our questions. We love Dr. Newman and the Pet Hospitals!

I took my 7 year old kitty for her first visit at The Pet Hospitals Germantown today. The staff were really sweet and attentive. Dr. McWatters was the most knowledgeable veterinarian I've ever been to. He was great at offering information and he was not in a rush to answer my questions. My cat usually hates going to the vet's office, but she seemed very relaxed for her visit and she even gave them a few purrs which she never does! Wish I could give Dr. McWatters and the team more than 5 stars. I'm excited to have them as my cat's new regular veterinarian office.

My family has been taking our dogs to the Pet Hospitals for years, and my husband and I continue to do the same with our dog and now a new puppy. We just took our puppy for his first round of shots in our care and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Dr. McWatters and the entire staff (reception, vet tech, etc.) were extremely friendly and made the experience great for both dog and owner. The wait time was minimal and I know our puppy was getting the best care. We'll look forward to being back in 3 weeks!
