Every time I have placed an order for pick up it gets delayed .. this time I came at the delayed time only to be told I needed to go home and wait and they cannot give me an ETA meanwhile there’s a hold on my items. There has be a way to block out unavailable times or staff your runners better it’s not on them. This is not against the employees this is on management to staff appropriately and give them more support.

I've been a loyal customer of this Kroger location for a long time now and it's sad to see it slowly degrade in quality. There are some kind employees here that do a good job at self checkout and they deserve a raise. However, where are the carts when you need them? Why are there items/produce out of stock for days on end? The management here really needs an overhaul.

As somebody that shot a Kroger extremely frequently and generally will spend 2 to $300 a week.I am very sad the fact. That if you go in there store at 8 AM or earlier, you have to do their job to check out. I will never from this point on. Go to Kroger if I'm going to be forced to check myself. Oit is not my job. It does not save me any money. It does not speed things up and then the people that are watching you. Check out, treat you like you're a criminal. So I have a good life and I will not see you anymore

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!Went into Kroger with my newborn in hand and there were no carts. Asked an employee where all the carts were and they said because of the “hill” in the parking lot they are unable to bring the carts in so customers have to grab them themselves. So I in turn had to head back outside and find a cart return with carts in it and bring it in myself and expose my daughter to the cold even longer. During my visit I noticed many items that were knocked over on the ground in the aisles. It was a mess! Once I checked out I saw an employee just sitting on their phone. After returning home I called the number for this Kroger and got an automated system and asked to speak to a manager and it just rang with no answer. What ever happened to hard work and doing whatever you had to do to get the job done? Instead just make the customers do your job for you. Absolutely disgusted with my experience…

I've shopped this location often. It was terrible today. This location has really gone down hill. Limited supply of meats and normal everyday groceries. My cashier was rude and had zero customer service skills. Another customer came in to the service desk apparently to return an item. She was told there was no one working the service desk. She asked when they would return she was told not today. I regretted my choice of shopping here today.

Tried order online and pickup two weeks in a row. Both orders were incorrect or item left out. And I was charged. Add to that on the first order pickup, I checked in and waited while other cars came and picked up. I asked the employee if he would check on my order. He was rude and impatient. He said I must be at the wrong store. He did not show my order. Another employee came out and I asked him. Shortly he delivered my order. Bit it was wrong and I did not even report the mistake. Second order, 10 items, surely if Kroger will hire you, you can count to 10 to confirm at least the total. But no they don't. Shorted the main item. I am ashamed to believe they could get it right the second time. Now I know why all the women I know shop at Publix.

Fine besides the night time lead had to come open my cashiers drawer because he forgot to give me my change. She tells him no and tells me I'll have to return the following day and get my change.And I'm handicapped, so I just really think I was treated completely awful and even the young man that had rang me up. She had him about to cry. Awful!

Tonight is the second time we’ve driven to this store only to be turned away and the door literally shut in our face at 940 pm. I am going to notify corporate of this as I just don’t feel like a store who has advertised hours should just be able to do this. Like I said, this is twice in the past month it’s happened. I never shop this store unless I’m desperate on a late night and now I know another reason why

The Kroger at 845 Nashville Pike, Gallatin Tn...is the worse Kroger I have been to lately. They will not staff any registers making all customers use self checkout. I don't receive any compensation from Kroger for doing their work for them. When speaking to the manager about it, I'm told they don't have staff trained on registers. But I personally witnessed 3 employees that have worked registers for years doing everything except running a register. The manager should have jumped on a register instead of just standing around watching customers work. Do yourself a favor and travel a little further down the road and go to Marketplace instead. Or just go to any other grocery store. Simple problem with simple solution, replace ineffective management.

6 employees standing around just hanging out at the front of the store. not a single register open except the self checkouts. people waiting everywhere. (third occurrence) Unless I'm going to be getting a paycheck I'm not checking myself out with a cart full of groceries, I'll just leave them in the cart and leave and so should everyone else.

WORKERS ARE MISTREATED!!! After my last few experiences at this Kroger location, I have no intention of going back. The store is okay, the management is a BIG ISSUE. I have seen the staff being mistreated over and over again. Supervisors hide in the back because they don’t feel like doing their job and leave it to the cashiers who get paid a little amount with no benefits!! Last week, I was trying to check out my items in self checkout, when there were two grown men arguing with each other, saying they were about to fight. I overheard the worker in the front asking over and over for the supervisor to come up and take care of the situation as his shift had ended by now. I eventually left but came back today (Thanksgiving) to pick something up real quick. I asked the workers how their days are going, trying to be kind as they are working on Thanksgiving. I was then informed that they make no holiday pay on any holidays but are required to be avaliable for work! I heard one girl hasn’t had Thanksgiving off of this location in the last 30 years! 20 year olds missing Thanksgiving to work when there is hardly any staff anyways is incredibly ridiculous. Just close!!! They are short staffed, and the ones who work are the ones mistreated. My heart really hurts for these workers after today, I won’t ever be back.

On multiple occasions I found out some items price at checkout were different than the prices shown on the shelves even though the items have exact the same bar codes. When I told the associates with the pictures as proof, they got mad at me. Happened twice this month. One time was the white peach, and today was the scallops. The customer service told me I would need the digital coupon to get the discount price. But the sales tag didn’t show anything about digital coupon required. It’s not that I can’t afford it, but I feel like being cheated. I will drive an extra mile to Publix from now on. Bye Kroger!

My normal Kroger store is Lebanon, but due to renovations it is difficult to find items. I came to Gallatin Kroger and found a sale they are advertising BOGO chuck roast turned out to feel like an absolute scam. The regular price had been raised higher than I have ever seen anywhere $8.99lb! to make the 1/2 price what it normally costs. Publix regular price was $5.99lb… .While this problem is on Kroger as a whole, I also went to get donuts only to find the person making them possibly hates donuts? See the picture and you decide.

The only reason there’s one star on this review is because I can’t leave zero. I had a fraudulent debit card charge at this location earlier this year for about $200. I filed disputes with my bank, I filed a complaint with Kroger, and I filed a police report. Nothing came of any of it, so I’m just out $200. Despite the fact that this is the closest grocery store to me and I’ve been a Kroger shopper for 10 years, I will never go back to this store. I’d strongly encourage you to remove your payment information from you Kroger Plus account, and take care that your card information is not compromised when you visit this store.

Picked up and item for my sister after traveling across country for family gathering for a family loss that was the wrong item. I used a Kroger card membership as well when I purchased and returned. I was denied the funds back to my bank account and was forced to only get a store gift card for the return. You must know exactly what you want here and be 100% certain it's correct or else your funds will be doomed to Kroger. I love my Fred Meyers but I will never place my money here again. How insulting and disrespectful. What shameful people. I'm still blown away from that disquisting customer service. Can't even call it that.

Very disappointed in this location. We order from them often and have groceries delivered to our nursing home facility. Today we received an order with 10+ out of date items and 3 items that were busted open with mold growing in them. Called the store to try to get a refund, replacement, or whatever they would normally do in this situation. Waited on hold for the manager 10+ minutes. When he finally picked up, he was extremely RUDE with me. He told me that it wasn't his problem and basically hung up on me. This is the MANAGER of the store! Who's problem is it then? I'll be contacting the corporate office to make a complaint. This is unacceptable. We can't feed our residents moldy pudding! Ridiculous and will not spend anymore money here.

Last year this store had a lot of issues that weren’t too good but in the last two weeks I have seen big changes in attitude of employees and faster checkout and helpful employees…just needs to be a little cleaner inside like painting and flooring could be updated

Clerk stated that due to inadequate help at the registers, only self checkout was an option. So I emptied my cart, and walked out with no items. I will not shop where employees are not being utilized.

Well organized grocery store. Looks clean. They have a great group of fresh items which make my kids happy and my life easier. Thankful for the prepped meals that you literally just have to throw in the oven. Everyone is kind and I've never had a problem with anyone there. SOOO THANKFUL for all of the essential workers that have fed all of us for so long and especially this past year!!

I was looking for a certain item. The young lady working in the store was very helpful, she stopped what she was doing to located the product on her personal phone and took me to the isle. I truly appreciated the service I was given. We have so many options, when it comes to spending our hard earned money, service like I received, will have me returning with a smile. A shout out to the young lady with the pretty eyelashes. I didn't get her name, but we talk about her beautiful eyelashes.

Gallatin is known as one of the friendliest towns in the country, which is absolutely true- until you pull into this Kroger parking lot. Something about this undersized parking lot turns everyone into selfish monsters who angrily threaten others in their battle for a decent spot. They calm down once they’re inside shopping or have actually left the parking lot. But I’ve never seen anything like this phenomenon, even in Nashville (where I’ve spent most of my life). I try to avoid this by shopping after most people have gone home for dinner. The store itself isn’t bad; average quality, selection, service. I’ve seen better, and I’ve seen worse. The company seems to ship the better produce to the larger, nicer stores (the Kroger Marketplace & Hendersonville stores), which has sent my family on many field trips over the last few years. But in terms of convenience, we gotta take what we can get 🤷

Usually I don’t post bad reviewsBut I took the time to drive to Kroger because I’ve never had an issue with them to put charge me additional fees on my card.Today I popped a little over $17 and notice my car was charged $125 that quickly declined! I’ve heard of security deposits charged But are you serious a whole $118 extra!!This is unacceptable and highway robbery!!!Thank goodness it declined. Don’t play games with people’s money.

A little under two weeks ago, I went to pickup my grocery order at the smaller Gallatin Kroger and I was greeted by the pickup manager. He was dressed really well and was extremely nice. He complimented my name (told me it was rare but still a "cool name") and loaded my groceries. The only item that was not available were my favorite chicken flavored oriental noodles. He told me that he would let me know as soon as they were in stock. His personality stood out to me so much that I asked him to follow me on Facebook. A few days afterwards, he did find me on Facebook but as I checked out his page, he seemed way to into church and God and religion so I blocked him. I had a few bad experiences with religion and I didn't want to get flashbacks. Other than that, he was really nice and cool. If it weren't for his stern religious stance, we could have been friends.

I am very pleased! This is the first time I used the delivery service. Mario stayed in constant contact with me over any changes to my order. Delivery was prompt and order was what I expected. Driver used hand sanitizer before handling my groceries. I will be using this service in the future! So glad My Kroger’s now has this service available! Thanks for a Job well done!

This Kroger never has any of it's staples stocked. Everytime we go here, there empty shelves. They do not keep their shelves stoked and the things they do stock are expired. Terrible experience for the past few months. We're going to Publix for now on or at least the Marketplace a few miles down the road.

Frustrated on being forced to do self check out when having 30-40 items. Not really understand the concept of haveing employees stand around watching the self check out lines and others hang out at Customer service desk, while no other Lanes are open. If I'm doing self check out for this many items I should get A discount for doing your work.

Avoid getting their meat on weekends. The past month, I'd say about 40% of our meals didnt make it to Tuesday or Wed without spoiling.If you want good, fresh meat, go to food lion. It may cost a little more but it last longer than 3 daysEdit: a many months later I came her to complain again about the meat. People shop for a week, not 2 days. I really don't understand where these managers come from with this idea that having meat that expires on 24 hours as the only option is a good idea.Were just done with this store. Convenience isn't very convenient when you cant shop for the week

Always clean and most of staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't give five ⭐s because an employee stoking shelves was very rude and continued to run into him. He didn't care if his work looked bad and said as much and wasn't concerned who saw or knew it either. It really reflected poorly on Kroger as a company in general but specifically this store and manager to have an employee so unhappy in their employment that they didn't care who knew or saw.
