The changes are great! The new freezers are a little too big and it makes the aisle noticeably smaller but the new stuff is an improvement but it's just too costly!! But it's like that no matter which store you go to.

Save a lot is the only store in my town to shop at that's close.. I use to shop there a lot. Not much anymore unless it's emergency.. The sale items for they meat are not stocked.. They usually have none on weekends because of Butchers don't work weekends I stopped one day at 9:30 in the morning . There was no meat! That was a weekday. Lots of times the milk is in proper date but it's spoiled after 2 days. I've bought frozen sausage that had been thawed and rethawed. Of course it was rotten. Very very disappointed in my hometown save a lot.. Lots of time the meat is turning brown, brown or even green. Biggest complaint is the MEAT safety and the sale items being available at all times of ooperation hours!

Most of the things here are knock offs but it definitely gets the job done. The options for limited dietary needs are spotty at best. There are no gluten-free versions of anything available there save for things that are gluten free already, a celiacs worst nightmare. If you're in a pinch and need meat or dairy or a frozen meal, it's there.

I love this place. For the most part they have everything you need that you forgot in Cookeville.. or when you realize you need milk. The staff is amazing especially the elderly gentleman that works the evenings. I believe he's the manager he's always friendly and very helpful. It's always really clean and organized..they have someone cleaning carts and wiping stuff down👍

Wonderful experience & more important is the friendly staff. Couldn't find item asked cashier where I could find it, she not only told be the location, she walked me to the item & asked how many I wanted & helped me put them in my cart. I was traveling at time so it wasn't a local run to shop but I will travel & shop there often now.Nice to have someone treat a customer so nicely. Thank you Save A Lot! Anyone want to restore having nice experience shopping with friendly people please check out Marshmallow Fluff aisle 10.

Clean, friendly, limited on frozen food. A bit expensive for almost all generic selections. And my chicken was spoiled. I was shocked because meat dept seemed clean and the chicken looked fresh. 🤔 both large packages was spoiled.

Couple of the things I like they offer is their Take & Bake pizzas they're reasonably priced and they're very good. You can get cash back up to $100 on debit and they cash checks for no fees Unfortunately it is the only grocery store my general area. It's not a very big store very few choices with different brands.

Great discount store for country shopping. Discount is a bit of a misnomer as shopping in nearby Cookeville is a whole lot cheaper. That being said Save a Lot has a fair selection of medium priced and brand name items. Its rival down the road Dollar General is not as space but has a fair selection as well.

Love this store. Their Pickwell brand canned vegetables are great & a great price always. You can buy a whole case, 12 cans for right under 6 dollars & their Coburn Farms dairy products are some of the best & also cheaper than the more popular brands. Love the store & saving money.

It was great very clean just wish that had more of the food s that Cookeville save a lot has also they have been out of French vanilla coffee creamer (powder) for a month!!! It's my favorite so they need it back

Refreshing to find all the fresh veges, fruits, meats, canned goods, cereals, chips and all, so close to home. Good prices too. No need to go anywhere else unless you need to buy a cutting board... Just moved into the area. Thanks.

They had everything I needed in the produce department. Everything was fresh. However, the produce prices that are not on sale are on the high side compared to the stores in Cookeville.

Pay attention to the meat department!! Got pork steaks over the weekend and got home... The smell was awful!! Thought one of the kids had dirty diaper in car but no!! Definitely the meat!! VERY disappointed!!

Lived in Gainesboro my entire life and Sav A Lot has always been my families "life saver". No one wants to make that drive all the way to Cooke villa because you have bugers with no bread,or ketch with no up. As for sometimes them having bad products, no one is perfect and you never know what kind of day someone has had but I wouldn't think anyone I've ever met down there would leave it out for sale on purpose ..just a accident. I do hope they get yalls money back to y'all or get it fixed.. And im sure they will.The best way I've found to check my meat b4 I buy it is, lay it up on the freezer vents in front of me..that airs cold. If it sneezes I put it back ..if not its always been good so far.Have a blessed day..

We come here for the variety of Pick 5 sale items. But I do have to say although the public restroom seems clean it has a horrible smell each time I've had to use it.

There really isn't any good customer service, most of the time the cashier's won't look at you or say anything to you, besides what your total bill is. That's not good business. Lisa is pretty friendly, bit that's the only one.
