I took my dog for self wash twice and it was a very good experience. The guy who looks like Jesus lol is really amazing and friendly. He has good knowledge on the products and about dogs too.This has become my go to self dog wash in Franklin.

I get that stores are closed for inclement weather, but it's so easy to improve customer experience by updating your owned media channels. You can edit your store opening hours so easily on Google Business Profile. You can also record a message on your phone - archaic in this day and age but very effective for those who call and frustratingly just hear it ring repeatedly. You could even set a pop up on your website based on a user's location. Please invest in a little bit of training and operations to improve the customer journey. Giving you 5 stars still because despite this real annoyance, I like your stores otherwise.

Adopted a cat here today! Both staff members were very helpful with recommending products like food and carriers and let me know that they price match, so we were able to get a couple big discounts!

I was close to this business while trying to locate a puppy food that would agree with our new additions stomach. There was a young gentleman working there this evening, and he was so Informative of all the best types of sensitive tummy puppy food and went out of his way to read every ingredient on the suggested brands due to me forgetting my reading glasses. I was very impressed with the patience and compassion he had with me while helping me find the best food for our dog.

I have been taking my puppy here for the past few months and Tracey has done great but this morning I arrive to drop him off and find out that Tracey is not there. We were hesitant to leave him but Michelle was very sweet. Fast forward to pick up… I get there to pick him up, not expecting to pay anything cause the past 3 times was TOTALLY FREE. Well I was told I needed to pay. I explained very calmly and nice that I didn’t bring money with me because I didn’t expect to pay for this appointment. They let me leave without paying. I tipped Michelle $20 and went home happy and planned to keep my business there. About 4 hours past after I had been home and I get a call from “the manager” saying they’re calling the cops if I don’t pay $81.23 after everyone agreed that I didn’t owe anything. I paid it even though I don’t think I should’ve had too. Another thing that happened while on the phone with “the manager” I looked at Stroodle and his left eye was swollen and very red. We immediately call the vet and they told us to come in. As of now his eye is okay after an almost $300 vet bill but they said if it’s no better in 5-7 days to come back. NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH HIS EYE BEFORE HIS APPOINTMENT. To say the least after this crazy day and a lot of money spent we will not be going back to this location. Even though I did really like Tracey.

Stricter for rules. I am passing through and had need for emergency wash. I called for self wash and it was open. Said I’d be there in 3-4 minutes. Another person arrived before I did unfortunately, I arrived at 4:50pm. Self serve Closes at 5pm and they wouldn’t allow me to wait. Groomer had ZERO pets but didn’t offer a wash. “So sorry”, I was told. Service with a smile as no service available.

Made a grooming appointment online over the weekend for 8:00AM Tuesday. Late Monday afternoon I get a message that they are too busy and can’t take my dog. They shouldn’t have an online booking system if it can’t accurately book appointments.I won’t be back in PetSense and it’ll be a while before I go to Tractor Supply, their parent company.

DO NOT USE THIS GROOMER! I have a pomeranian puppy who really needed a good bath and trim. Decided to use Petsense because it was close and they could do what I needed. I was watching through the window and it looked like the groomer was brushing really hard. She said it's because she had to clear the under coat.She was supposed to trim the tips of his top coat (which she didnt do) and trim around his ears and clean them. She was also supposed to file his nails, which she instead hacked off then left them with rough edges.I was floored when I came back and my dog HAD A BALD SPOT ON HIS NOSE. She proceeded to tell me it must be a cow lick and that it was there before. I'm adding photos of his before (in the stroller) and after. He was shaking horribly and when I walked over to pick him up he couldnt get away fast enough.I will NEVER be back here and I dont recommend anyone else come either!!!

Chelsea (spelling may not be correct) was FANTASTIC. So knowledgeable, patient, and obviously cares for customers and their job. It was so refreshing. We only stopped in on a whim, but will go out of our way to come back.

Great. I came in to look at the reptiles and amphibians trying to find one that was what I’m looking for. They had great selection. Not only that, but the workers really helped me find a pet that would be best for my needs. They helped get me everything I needed for the little guy as well. These workers are super experienced and know their way around pets. When I go to a store like petsmart and ask about an animal for sale the worker will usually tell me they have no idea. So glad I was able to get professional advice.I’ll definitely be coming back!

Don’t waste time taking ur pets here to groom. They do a great job don’t get me wrong, but they don’t stick to their word, if their employees make a mistake it’s the customers fault, they just care about money.

I love this place. We have 5 dogs, 8 cats, a turtle, and a bearded dragon. They have pretty much everything we need to take care of our little zoo. I can't tell you how many times we have rushed there close to closing time and the staff has been patient and helpful. Best pet store in Franklin.

Located left of Kroger, this parking lot stays packed! Not a huge fan of the location when I take my dog here. However, the staff is always nice and I love using the washing booth in the back right of the store. I feel it makes giving my pup a bath easier in the winter months if I don't want to spend a $100 elsewhere.

My daughter and I stopped by to check out the new store in our neighborhood. Loved the selection, even if the prices were higher than were we normally buy our Natural Balance food for our dog. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. Thrilled to have a place in the "hood" that grooms dogs for a reasonable price and convenient to get supplies! We will be back! Hopefully today to have our Bulldog groomed!!

We recently became owners of a milk snake, and we’re having trouble getting him to eat. We went to PetSense, and Holly was able to answer all of our questions and provide us with lots of information and advise for caring for him and getting him to eat. She spent lots of time with us, was super patient, and was beyond helpful with all our concerns and needs. Definitely recommend shopping at PetSense if you want a personalized experience!

Went for the DIY Dog wash. It was adequate. They give 2 very non absorbing towels, the tub was not clean ( lots of leftover fur), the pile of dirty towels gave off a smell, the shampoo wasn't marked. But, my lab did get cleaned up and it's a walk in - so in a pinch, it worked.

Petsence in Franklin is the best. They are so friendly and go out of their way to help you. I called in today and the women who answered got my dog food I needed and took it to the front register. Then she picked out a variety of toys and took them to the register to have the person who was picking the things up for me. They didn't have the size bag of dog food I needed so I had to get a smaller bag. She took a percentage off because of my trouble. I told her she did all the work, I didn't go to any trouble, she did. They are always like this, not just because it's the Holidays. A gentleman groomed by 80lb German Shepherd. I can't recall his name right now, but he did the best job ever and was very gentle and loving to my fur baby. I can't even rate high enough about Petsence. I was a bit upset today, when I went to my pet grooming appointment and was tuned away! My dog had been groomed their many times before, and we waited to get into this appoinment three weeks!When I get there I am greeted by a grouchy groomer (not the sweet lady who has always groomed Puffy! ) She informs me his Rabies info needed to be updated...really it's Saturday!! I love in Antioch, you have had us down on the books for 3weeks!!! Not to mention when he was there last someone could and should have mentioned they needed me to bring updated records!I work in a medical setting, if they have the time to look to see if their is an appointment available and verify the dog, my name, when we were there last and telephone it would have taken an extra minute or two to have checked to see if I needed to bring anything with me!!!It's a 45 minute drive there not to mention it was 93* out today! Then to be greeted and taken care of by a snot!! I won't return...I am putting a one star, wish it was a NONE star! This situation could have been handed in a more professional manner.

Went in for some puppy food, I was immediately met by Carla the store Manager. She helped me locate everything I was a looking for. I cannot praise her enough for that and for that I will continue shopping there with that type of service. Everyone was pleasant!!

I use the self wash station at petsense and it is awesome. It is first come first serve but it is only 10$. The staff are super friendly and helped my shy/scared dog become comfortable with the new place. We go once a week and he loves seeing his new friends now.

Great prices for such a small place. Not QUITE as good a selection as a larger store (obviously) but the customer service and friendly environment make up for it. My older kid asks to go here by name, to check out the cats up for adoption. I'm afraid we may end up getting one at this rate! Great, convenient location. We're regulars for sure.

Do not take your dog to get groomed at this place. I dropped my Labredoodle puppy off at 2:30, his regular scheduled appointment time. I was told that he would be done within 2-3 hours, however I never received a call or text within this timeframe. I just assumed they were running behind....but by hour four, I was starting to get worried, so I called and inquired when he would be done. I was told he would be finished in 20 to 30 minutes; however, the 20 to 30 minutes passed with no phone call. By hour five I was concerned, and I just went down there. As suspected, he was not done... on the table, and completely shaved. I specifically told the groomer very detailed instructions, that we wanted him to remain long, no shorter than 2 inches around his whole body. I also provided her with three pictures of similar Labradoodles with the same hair type to reference. I also told her I would like his face to remain round and long, like a teddy bear. Not one thing I asked was done. His head looked like a two-year-old had taken scissors to it...some pieces were long some pieces were so short and others way long. He also had so much product on him that the hair under his ears, wound crunch and would leave a residue on your hand. He looked very timid and scared, which is not his normal calm demeanor. When I asked why nothing was done that I requested, I just got random excuses. I’m not sure how the store vets their groomers, but this particular groomer had no business cutting a dog’s hair. I truly could’ve done a better job. In fact, I had to bring him home and rebath him, to get all of the residue from the product off. Please do not take your puppies here. I learned the hard way.

Just went in there with my Mother and to be honest. I'm very disappointed. It's not the same I remember from a year ago. We weren't aware the company change the name but we did want to go in a check it out since it wasn't too far from us. The gentleman who was there treat us completely differently than the customer before us as if he profiling us. Never welcomed us or even asked what we needed.I don't think I'm ever going to petsense again.

They are always great and attentive. They always remember that I have Great Danes and worked to find a way to help me knock some of the cost off of the bags of dog food when there was a sale. Love these guys and gals.
