Local grocery store, excellently managed.You can find most of the products that are available in box stores at this local grocery store.The staff is friendly and helpful, and many of the prices are not as high as those at other big-box stores. Supporting local business owners is worth the difference.

I work in this area. I walk on my break to know my surroundings on foot...plus I'm nosey🤣.. Been in this store 2x..I went to get a soda out machine..just a Coke Cola.. NOT Pepsi. I know and can tell difference. Well 65 cent machine.. they got like 5 machines outside ..but it was out of order. Both times I walk in store was greeted. That's a PLUS. In customer service there is a 10 step rule walking in a business and that's eye contact and greet. 5 STARS just for that reason. I'm 45. This is why I got out of customer service in person and stop being a manager last 20 yeas on and off. I will not go back in a business to give them my money if I am not greeted as so...., They smiled, greeted, and said have a good day as I checked out. Thanks.

⚠️Don't buy ground beef there! ⚠️They take old, gray meat, re-wrap it with a thin coat of red, and sell it at full price.⚠️If you are creating hazardous meat, at least make it cheaper.⚠️Everything is still high as hell.⚠️If u want meat; specifically ground beef, go to Wal-Mart!⚠️I've gotten bad meat there b4 but, it's rare.⚠️Whereas, I ¡⚠️¡ literally !⚠️!, have yet to buy meat at Gerald's and it is pink throughout.⚠️U can tell it isn't natural.⚠️Moreover, it takes a few days for meat to turn that gray before they re-package it!⚠️They seem to be perfectly willing to make a town sick for money!⚠️I've been voicing my opinions and concerns on here for between 4 and 6 years now, and not only have they not bothered to reach out but no change.⚠️Rather, things continue to get worse, still!!⚠️

LOVE LOVE LOVE this little hometown store. Friendly helpful staff and they always have something yummy prepared for me to grab a quick dinner on a budget. Even offered to order my Ezekiel bread so I don’t have to go to the big corporate store all the time. I’d much rather give the smaller stores my money. Thanks guys!!

Gerald's foodland is a great place to shop. Very helpful and friendly staff. The prices are a little high but everywhere you go the prices are up the difference is the people at Gerald's are more hands on and better service. They take the time to ask how you are doing instead of rushing you out the door. Gerald's is well worth the trip.

Best meat department in town. They have kept the old style of shopping. The staff are amazing and helpful. The store clean and organized. The store is pricey on items besides meat but usually have good sales or mark downs if you walk around a look.

This is truly the most amazing grocery store I have ever been in!! Not only is the quality and cleanliness top notch....the staff are so friendly and always willing to help carry your groceries to the car. So much better than the bigger stores and you will find everything you need and more! Love the wonderful fresh vegetable selection as well as the reasonably priced meats.

This store has been in my town my whole life. I remember going here with my grandmother when I was a child and still like going here to this day. Old school grocery store feel, they great you as soon as you walk in the door. They also still have bag boys/girls that will help you get your groceries to your car if needed.

My husband went in the other day for a couple of quick items, his first time visiting the store. He was impressed with the amount of employees working, helpful helpful and too. All seemed to enjoy their job, rare these days. He said we'll be going back!!

Great place to buy butcher cut meat .I bought fillet that was awesome ...cast iron pan.....pan sear on all sides .....then onto the oven at 400 degrees. ..2 minutes = medium rare ..I like it at 3 minutes then pull the pan out and turn for another 2 minutes or up to 3 ...I cook with grape seed oil and butter at then .The meat was from Gerald's and it was Top Notch .Thank you

Great hometown grocery. Produce is local / semi-local. I got tomatoes with Alabama stickers on them. I love their meat department always good. Absolutely the best tasting ground chuck ever. Super friendly young folk that still take your groceries to the car for you.Hometown service! Thank y'all.

Great store. One of the very few where people will still help you to your car with your groceries. Gerald's is a strong community supporter, helping with 4-H and other programs in our county. I have never, ever walked in the store without at least two people greeting me. The employees are polite, the store is clean, the parking and the location are convenient.

Always good friendly service and greet you at the door and thank you when you leave EXCEPT FOR TODAY , SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2022—at 10:00 AM - as usual the young checkers and baggers greeted us when we came in- BUT THE LADY COOKING AT THE DELI WAS VERY UNPLEASANT, SOUR ACTING - SHE ACTED LIKE WE WERE EXTREMELY BOTHERING HER JUST BY WAITING ON A HOT DOG. !!! THE ONLY EMPLOYEE that has ever acted that way - Other than HER, GERALD’S IS TOP NOTCH ALL THE WAY
