I was visiting my mom from middle Tennessee today and we drove to Etowah to see where she grew up and visit her favorite store, Johnson’s. We had the best time seeing so many unique and quality items and what a beautiful selection they had. The owner and staff were so helpful and kind also. We bought the most unique shoes we have seen and it’s just really nice to see a store like this which is rare to find. Can’t wait to come back.

I got these one is a lil key chain wallet/card holder that snaps for $ 9.99 then I bought the matching key chain change holder/place for your licenses that zips for $9.99 . I love them they are very convenient and affordable. I also got a sliver smiley face bracelet for my youngest daughter and it was only $10 bucks. If you like Simply Southern, Patagonia, Columbia stuff you gotta check them out. They have women's ,kids , as well as men's. They have different stuff for men. Like clothing brand name Hull and other as well. They have lots of clothing, jackets, handbags, jewelry, and, cute boots.

The shoe selection at Johnson’s is great! As small as the store is it seems as though they always have the size I’m looking for wether it’s for my husband or children. We always purchase suits here and you will not find a better fit anywhere. The ladies are friendly and helpful and Mr. Don is eager to help also. Our Christmas shopping is made a little easier and we love that it’s close to home!

Highly overpriced merchandise!! You can find same items for at least 20% cheaper. However, it is a quaint, unique store in a very small community trying to offer quality items thast this area has to order or drive an hour to purchase. If they don't have what you need, they will do their best to find it. Top notch customer service! Prices are just too inflated, most would rather pay shipping prices, than pay that much for immediate gratification.

I want to tell you about Johnsons. In etowah I love them my husband going to storm work in Florida. I was in a rush to buy things my husband needed. I bought 2 pairs of pants. Didn't fit. We called he was closed. He let us come and traded pants because he is a great person..go to johnsons

I have been shopping here my whole life. Don is one of the kindest and nicest people I know. Can you go to Macy's or Dillards and find the same stuff a little bit cheaper? Maybe. What I can tell you is that you won't find anyone at any other store that will give you the time and personal attention that Don or his team will when shopping. They go above and beyond to make sure you find exactly what you are looking for. Go by and see Don today. You won't regret it.

It's a good hometown store. I love to go look at their shoes. It's a bit pricey, but the staff are very helpful. They make u feel comfortable & want to keep coming back.

I went to get some new sandals for a trip that we're going on, and had Chaco's in mind. They had a great selection, and she even showed me how to strap them on. Fair pricing and great customer service. Thanks Johnson's!

I do not often do reviews. However I had to share my recent experience at Johnson’s. I saw a pair of chacos they had posted on their Facebook page. I am not from Etowah but I decided to call to see if they could ship them. The man I talked to was extremely friendly and told me they had sold out but would get my name & number and call me when they received more and could ship them. He told me he expected to receive more in about a month and would call me once he got more. I received a call about a week and a half later from them saying they already received more. They shipped them out to me and I received two days later. The package even came with a personal thank you card. I highly recommend them as they have outstanding customer service! Everyone I talked to was so friendly and received my shoes a lot sooner than expected!

Privately owned upscale clothing store. Personal service is the norm when entering Johnson's Department Store often by Mr. Johnson. Watch for the sales too. They are real and can offer opportunity for a bargain purchase. Support local merchants.

Actually was a good experience shopping but called back with some bank issues was very rude and probably would never speak to any customers face like that. Liked the shop and the clothing though you won’t be let down with that.

I purchased a Peter Millar shirt for one hundred dollars the shirt ripped down the back after only the second time wearing the shirt very expensive but also very cheep made and that unfortunate.
