Both of the male cashiers are very friendly great customer service the rest of the crew I'm not that impressed with. The line can be backed up to the back of the store and they'll just stand there and look at the people then run off to the back instead of opening the other register and helping the guys out. Needs better management there's no reason why customers should stand in line 30+ minutes while the other employees do absolutely nothing but hide

There was only one staff member that I saw in the entire store.Boxes of items in places that made aisle navigation risky.

Great place, the newer guy at the register always has me cracking up & I love going into any place & being able to interact with really personable & funny people. They're always in stock & pretty organized. I dont have to crawl over totes that haven't been stocked on the shelves yet. It's my go-to for those last minute needs at decent prices.

I don't understand when the dollar general stopped caring about how a store looks. When u can't get a buggy down a aisle and can't see the merchandise on a whole aisle because inventory is everywhere. What is everyone doing all day? It isn't putting up the items that came in on a truck. There is no reason for a store to be in such a mess. It's definitely all on the management!!!!

Go here as it's close to home. Nothing more frustrating then not being able to go down an isle that has what you need and having to squeeze by all the merchandise they brought in from outside an hour and a half before they close. Surely it don't take that long to get that stuff inside. Been there when I couldn't get in the door for vendors being there with all there stock piled up right inside the door. The customers are made to wait while they check vendors in. The employees are friendly though. I just hate this store. Starting to go couple extra miles to shop elseware.

Will rate a five star if and when they ever fix their outside store signs! The signs are never working properly, they don't light up at dark. The store always looks closed! I have reported it to the sales associate and the store Manager and they say they don't think it will be fixed! I guess they don't want our business!

Overall not bad but not great either. The employees themselves have always been more then helpful, patient &understanding. Not a single complaint on the 1st one whatsoever. Unfortunately the store itself is what's upsetting. To start, everytime u arrive u do not have the option of swing in or out double doors as the left side is ALWAYS locked into place (which doesn't really matter) its shocking however that the right door that u have to use to enter is only accessible if u grab it and pull out towards u in order to go thru. And it may not have meant much b4 but now with this pandemic on our hands then every1 is trying thier best not to touch metal surfaces such as this one, that every person b4 them visiting there has touched and in this case u have no option but to grab hold of it if ur going to successfully shop there and pull out. All other stores I visit with manual entrances, gas stations in particular, the right door u enter thru swings in. Therefor allowing u to use ur hip or side or elbow, etc to get in and do so without having to touch a thing. This dollar store door is the only one of its kind that I've ever personally had the misfortune of handling and I pray to never come in paths with another, pandemic abroad us or not.....2ndly, about one third of the isles throughout store are in bad disarray and finding what you need is next to impossible due to serious un-organization skills & issues. In closing, I don't think it'd take much effort at all to make this store a 5 star but without fixing these very small issues, then they stay large disappointments

It was alright.nothing particularly special, service wasn't bad, got what I needed MOSTLY and left. (Mostly, because they'd seemed to only have ONE of everything I'd needed and stopped carrying the makeup and deodorant I liked.) This was the EtowahTN store, since recently moving, I've heard the Delano store was better and closer to where I live so I'll check that out. I've learned that every location stopped carrying the "coverall" liquid makeup though, which I LOVED, so no point in going anymore really..

Typically are out of everything I need. Also have cart fulls of stock blocking all the aisle. Always hot in summertime due to ac being controlled at a different location. Wait in line forever cause only one line can be open.

Store was a little messy and the employees didn't seem to care much for the customers coming in. It felt like I was going to be robbed at some point. Probably not a good idea to shop after dark. I loaded money on a debit card but the cashier had no clue how to do it and kept attempting different ways. Not likely to recommend

Yet again. I I come to Etowah Dollar General ..... I'm leaving empty handed cause there shelves are about bare and they didn't have the one thing I needed. Yes they carry it sweet condensed milk. Fresh why don't I I just go to Englewood there just as close for me. Aww revelation.... I will FROM now on they are much friendlier😃

yesterday I got caught in store during a very hard lengthy rain. they were so nice to me..doubled bagged everything plus gave me a bag to put over my head to get to car...showed real concern..thanks

I can just jump in, get what I need and jump out! Zoom, zoom home.. Little secret? If the parking lot is too packed I won't go in. It just takes too long to get through the line and they have 2 registers but only one is ever open!! All in all, dollar general serves a purpose.

Terrible place. This is the only Dollar Store that I hate to shop. The aisles are always packed with stock. The shelves are always empty. You can never find anything. The merchandise is always out of order.

Went in with less than $10 and came out with 3 large yellow bags crammed full!Of course everything was needed and useful such as wax paper, doggie treats ummm sox's etc... #yellowBAGexperience

Has good items such as: some groceries, and I get the majority of my hygiene products here however, not a wide variety and it always looks messy

They have a big variety of everything, it's really nice, one thing I've noticed is, you never hardly ever go in while stocking shelves, apparently they do it before or after closing, very well managed.:)

I used to love goin to the dollar general but apparently I can say bathroomers be ware cause cops will show apparently using the bathroom constitutes u are tryin to steal😄😄

Good prices, only thing keeping them from receiving 5 stars is that they continually have messes, & unpacked truck pallets in the aisles. They need someone to clean and reshape the store
