Absolutely loved this place. It's been a long time since I've seen a compassionate vet that isn't about the money and actually listens about the dogs' needs. My gal has hit her senior years and its been something. The vet done what she said she was going to do and called me with results and steps we could try. So happy I made an apt there. Definitely my go to vet now. Makes me feel better knowing if something comes up I know where to go.

My only reason for this post is to hopefully keep this from happening again to someone else.We brought our cat of 6 months, that had wondered up on our back porch and would come for the evenings and leave during the day. We decided it was best to get it spayed before any unwanted kittens appeared. We took it to this vet and they said for us to drop off and they would work it in. The vet calls after it being there all day only to inform us that it was a he and had already been neutered. In fact, he had a chip and came from animal harbor. However, he had already been taken to surgery, anesthetized, and cut open only to find no female organs. The chip was scanned after all this. Cat was brought home and ultimately became infected. We called to try to get them to see him but no reply. We took to another local, wonderful, vet that ultimately had to take him back to surgery to clean all the infection out. Required a three day stay…so yes you can imagine the bill but worth it to get him healthy again. My point is none of this was necessary. Cost and pain, none of it. If this office had done a routine exam prior to cutting my cat open we wouldn’t be dealing with any of this. And yes, you may ask couldn’t I tell the difference in a boy cat vs girl cat. Well, you’d think but we couldn’t but fact still remains this vet should have. That’s their specialty after all. Would not ever recommend ever taking any animal here. Still have never heard from this office. Very disappointing.

I had taken my boy wyatt there for a checkup and get a refill on his meds. He had spondylosis so he walked a little funny but he always loved going to the vet! Everyone was so nice to him and he ate up all the attention he got here. He woke up one morning with extreme difficulty breathing and I tried to get him in as an emergancy. Unfortunately they couldn't get him in soon enough and I feared he wouldn't hold out that long. Unfortunately that day, the vet I took him to elsewhere couldn't help him and offered euthanasia. I appreciate all you guys did for him in the little time he had with you and the card you send with all of your condolences. It really meant a lot!( sorry it took so long to write a review, im still not over his lose.)

Every single time we've called or visited this place we have been turned off by the immediate attitude that the staff has. I wouldn't send my pet here. If they treat animals anything like they treat people, then they have no place in this town. Honestly, I'm not sure how they are still in business. We take our pets up the road to another place in Winchester even though this place is directly in town for this reason even though we live within walking distance of Lakeside Veterinary Clinc. I can literally see it from my house. So, my unwillingness to go there speaks for itself.

Very rude. Unprofessional. My cats stitches came out and had an infection. She had to be rushed to an emergency vet in Murfreesboro to get seen to bc she was in such bad condition. Returned to complain to them about the situation and she looked at me like I didn’t know what I was talking ab. Said she has never had complaints nor this issue. Then proceeded to walk away from me mid conversation after I asked her to give me my money back for the horrible stitching job she had performed my kitten! Very professional of you Dr Melissa Prince.

Great Vets office with the kindest staff and vet ever. I know my Girls are getting the best care here and you can really tell the vet and her techs love animals. Patty in reception is amazing and so kind as well. The office is spotless and the decor is lovely. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place!

Great staff and Doctor Prince was very good. Thorough and also took the time to answer questions and discuss lesser important topics. I grew up with a mother that was a veterinarian and I worked for her as a tech. for many years. I know the in's and outs very well and would highly recommend Lakeside. Professional, superior attention to your furbaby, and very affordable.

Being an active duty military personnel and also a spouse for over 20 years I have lived in numerous States across America. I have to say this is the best veterinarian clinic I have ever used. They staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help. The veterinarian is awesome.

I was able to get flea pills for my cats without taking them in for a visit. $17.34 per pill. Open till five in the evening.

I think this place is wonderful!! I have a ton of critters who are always needing something done and they are always willing to get us in to be seen!! The staff is excellent, the doc is excellent, decor is adorable... Can't sing their praises enough!!

Patty and the Vet are very unprofessional and may I say quite rude! I was quoted one thing, not once over the phone, but twice. Then I was charged $100 more than I was quoted. When I called to confront Patty, she yelled at me over the phone and hung up on me. When I went there after work to pay the bill, the vet called me and my mother liars and said we don’t pay attention and are making it all up in a rude and immature manner. I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone or for any animal. You could not pay me to take my pets back there again!!!

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my entire life and I’ve done a lot of business. I would recommend that no one send their pets here because they are short tempered and very very unprofessional. Patty apparently the co-owner there was the one that I spoke to and was extremely rude and unprofessional.
