Dawson fixed our LG refrigerator compressor. He was very thorough and explained why new parts are needed in addition to the compressor. He and his helper, David, were professional, polite, non-intrusive and they cleaned everything up before they left.

I am totally impressed by the service I received from Doctor Appliance and would highly recommend them. The technician (Matthew?) was very competent, capable and knowledgeable as he repaired a problem he had not encountered before. A piece on the bottom of my washer that regulated the tub motion had fused with another part and gotten partially shaved off. Fortunately he had all the parts in his van and quickly repaired the machine. When he realized that the same thing would happen again unless he created a bit more space between the two pieces, he took it apart again, added a few extra washers for spacing and my machine is good as new. All this was accomplished in under half an hour.I was very impressed with how quickly he diagnosed and repaired the washer as well as with his friendly customer service. I called Doctor Appliance before he was even out of my driveway to tell them what an awesome experience I had.

This was an interesting experience. On the one hand, the repair for this washer took entirely too long at 7 weeks. On the other hand, Doctor Appliance was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. The duration was due to the original manufacturer’s problems of poor engineering, lack of parts availability, and lack of common sense. None of this is the fault of Doctor Appliance.At slightly less than 1 year from the date of purchase and coincidentally the end of the warranty period, the primary structure of the Electrolux washer failed. When originally researching the washer, the reviews were off the charts with both a high score and large number of reviewers. The washer had been one of the best we owned, until it failed. Now we wonder if any of the reviewers had used the washer for over 1 year.After the initial service call where Doctor Appliance found the failure, instead of replacing the washer, the manufacturer chose to repair it. After waiting for over six weeks for the part, we tried every trick in the book to escalate within Electrolux’s customer service but were stonewalled.Finally the parts arrived and the second service call with Doctor Appliance scheduled. Yesterday, the washer was repaired and is working great, at least for now. Alex was very efficient and effective as the washer required total disassembly in order to replace the broken part.In the end, the cost of the part and labor were more than the cost of a new washer. And now Electrolux has lost a customer for good!

Dawson was fantastic at the speed in which he installed the new parts & checked to see that our range was working properly! Definitely do not recommend. I had a brand new, Samsung range under warranty it took them 3 times to come out to the house to figure out what was wrong, and took way too long doing so even canceled on me on the day they were supposed to come out one if the times. Then finally the last time they came the tech damaged the housing of my range by putting the wrong screw in causing a very noticeable dent in the front top of my stove. The tech told me they would have it fixed. After several weeks of calling they just kept telling me they were dealing and trying to reach samsung to fix it (just blowing smoke) I finally contacted Samsung they told me it was the company's techs fault and they were the ones responsible. I called and tried to get the owner to call me and still have yet to this day had it taken care of. I'm currently in the process if having it resolved legally.

Alex was my service technician. He was very efficient, polite, and explain the whole process as he was repairing my dryer. They had the parts that I needed right on the truck so repair was completed in one trip. My dryer is drying my clothes again! Communication was top-notch, and I will use them again if needed. This was through my Lowe’s extended warranty service.

Alex, with Doctor Appliance, was terrific. He phoned in advance to let me know when he was coming, he arrived right on time, he was pleasant and very very knowledgeable in his area of expertise, he showed me how to disassemble my washer to clean it out, he found the problem immediately, he told me how to prevent any errors occurring in the future, and what to do if there were any errors in the future. He was most helpful and pleasant and I will never call anyone else to repair my appliances.

I want to start by saying I have never left a poor review for anyone, ever. This company was sent out by GE for a simple warranty repair. It took a month for a part to come in, we were patient as we still had one side to cook on. Their technician left my kitchen a complete mess with damage to my cabinets and countertop, and glass in my floor from breaking the cooktop. Wires showing between my counter and cooktop, and installed so that I can no longer open my drawer. The entire cooktop is now damaged. When the “manager” reached out to me, he said the earliest anyone could come out to assess the damage was a week from that date. He then let us know that they would not be replacing the cooktop, but ordering parts and this could take weeks to a month- leaving me without a cooktop all together. They informed me that they had fired the technician we so unfortunately were assigned, but I still can’t imagine how you could wait a week before coming to repair this terrible job, and then saying it could still take another month. I would hate for this to happen to someone else, so beware before trusting this company.Service: Stove, cooktop & oven repair

The technician, Dawson, is the person that has worked with me on fixing the GE Profile refrigerator. On the first visit, his diagnosed the water problem, and listed the parts needed for repair. On his second visit, one of the plastic parts broke--it had been repaired (glued together) several years ago--and he contacted his company to get a new part. Dawson also suggested that holes be drilled in the top of the "Fridge cabinet" to keep the compressor cooler. The final repair was Monday, April 8. I now have water from the door and ice!!!!Dawson is very professional, courteous and informative. I will not hesitate to call Dr. appliance for repairs in the future.

long post!Do not use doctor appliance in Estill Springs! Their technician came out Thursday to check my refrigerator and doing so he broke my water line to my ice maker. He turned the water off to the house. They told me they were going to fix it but never showed up. My wife, daughter and 6 month old grandson went a day and a half without water. I called them friday morning and they told me they were making it a priority but never showed up. I called them Friday evening and I was the 6th caller in line. When they got to me they never answered and put me at the end of the line. That happened 7 times. I was on hold for a hour and finally hung up. I figured they saw it was me on caller id. After being on the road for 2 day I had to fix it myself. I told them I had my wife, daughter and grandson at home but I guess that didn’t matter! That’s bad business!!

Had a very good experience with Doctor Appliance. My dryer wouldn't heat, it took a few days to get an appointment but it was Thanksgiving weekend. They kept me updated on my appointment and arrival of the workman. Dawson and Robert arrived on time and were very through and professional. The work was done quickly and they put everything back where it was, no mess. I will definitely use Doctor Appliance again if needed.

It took me two months for them to get parts and someone out here to fix the fridge. Each time I called they had no information for me. Had to call GE and get them involved at an expedited level.

I’m a truck driver and when I got back after a 2 day run tonight I had to fix it myself. I called them Friday morning and they told me they are making it a priority. My wife set here all day waiting on them and never showed up. I called Friday evening to talk to them but they wouldn’t talk, because I figured they saw it was me on the caller id. When I first called I was the 6th caller in line when it came my turn to talk they put me at the end of the line 7 times! I finally hung up after an hour on hold. I don’t recommend using this company!

They do not know what they are doing. Save time, use another company! 9 months of trying to get them to fix a problem, they blamed environmental issues, each of their technicians gave varying reasons and solutions and we finally wised up and we contacted another company and had it fixed in less than 6 days. 6 DAYS!!! Not 9 months. Our warranty company had them as the only available company, so we kept trying and finally decided if we had to pay the bill, it was cheaper than a new washer. The washer was 2 years old at the time it started the issues, was not an old washer.Run to the next available company. Save your time.

I recently bought a home from Clayton homes. Appliances was included, fridge, stove, and dishwasher. My fridge stopped working around the 1st of April. Clayton homes told me to contact dr appliances, when I did the woman told me they couldn’t come out till the 27th of April. My fridge is not working, I’m 6 months pregnant and I also have a 7 year old. I go to Clayton homes, she was able to get the date moved to the 17th of April. Dr appliances called me the day before, the 16th, to confirm the appointment. Unfortunately, I work nights at the moment. So when I tried to call back around 1 pm & apologized trying to explain I work nights. They did not care, my appointment was cancelled anyways. So here I am 3 weeks with no working fridge. Definitely do not recommend.

So I would also like to start with I have never left a google review ever before. My experience with this company was so bad I didn’t want anyone to have to deal with this horrible company ever again. My 6 month old GE washing machine started to make loud squeaking noises during the spin out cycle. I took a video with my phone a in order to show the tech what was taking place. After being there and doing absolutely nothing the tech basically called me and my wife liars. Tori was the technicians name and said our washer was in perfect order. When I asked him about the video he actually made the comment that we could have been in the corner of the room making high pitched squeaking sounds while doing the video. What a joke of a company. Let me save you some time and heartache. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

The guys showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. They had to take everything out of the freezer drawer and heat/reseal the lining. Kendall explained to the other guy everything he was doing, and they made pictures along the way. He also gave me tips on how to keep my refrigerator working longer. I was pleased with the work they did, and it seems to have solved the problem. I would definitely use them again.
