Fresh produce and Organic, Non Gmo options. I love the set up and everything about Food City. Also, the community it serves is always thought of , Food City always gives back with donations for community events, including huge food drive donations! I stop in almost weekly for fresh affordable flowers !So glad to have this gem in our town of Erwin.

Amazing talent at their bakery. We ordered cookies cakes for my kiddos birthdays from Food City in Erwin. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My kids were able to personalize the cakes and they turned out incredible!!Highly recommend.

UPDATE: the lady returned my phone on Saturday 1/6, after holding onto it for almost 24 hours!But it's Sunday now and they STILL HAVEN"T mailed it to me as promised.NOW THIS TOPS IT ALL: I'm 205 miles away, and I have a friend who's closer, who's willing to pick up my phone for me which would save 2 hours driving, but the Manager Calvin said he wouldn't give it to her! He'll only give it to the police!! But it's MY phone!! This is utterly the epitome of ridiculousness!!Calvin told me something today that nobody else did before, which would have been very helpful: that Officer Bennett doesn't come in to work til 4pm! Too late to mail my phone!And the dispatch supervisor took my work tel number yesterday for him to call, but I get off work at 4pm!I stayed an extra hour and he didn't call!!!Unless he calls me, I can't get my friend to pick up my phone. The dispatch supervisor said I was harassing them and not to ever call again or she'd send an officer to my home in Chattanooga!!(But she had led me to believe that the officer would be back to work on Sunday... and when she finally said it'd be Monday, she didn't say it's at the end of the workday, even though I said I work at a school! So now he has no way to reach me.THIS TOWN IS INSANELY BACKWARD!!!On Fri. 1/5, I accidentally drove off from a scenic view rest stop without my phone. A nice man picked it up and we talked about where he could leave it for me to pick up because he couldn't go back to meet up with me. He said they're good people at this Food City and he trusted them to hold onto it.He dropped it off about 2:40pm. I called Food City to say that's my phone and it'd be at least an hour until I could get it.They said they'd put it into the safe, but as I found out later, they didn't have time.When I showed up about 4:20, the employee said she was really sorry, but an elderly lady had asked if a black phone had been turned in, and the employee GAVE HER MY PHONE!!!I accept her apology but Food City needs to do something to right this wrong! Their employee made a BIG HUGE mistake!I need my phone every couple of minutes to live my entire life on! I need to access my bank, insurance, emails, texts, other accounts, and my parents in their 80s need to contact me!!This is a very serious crime so I filed a police report and they reviewed the cameras."All they can do" is WAIT for the lady to come shopping there again! They recognize her but don't know her name or where she lives in this small town -- which is almost 4 hours away from where I live!So they said they'll try to get it and then mail it to me - but I need it immediately.WHY isn't the lady answering the phone? It had 70% battery on it, and the ringer was turned on... that's how the nice man had been able to answer it when my son called from his phone.WHY in the WORLD wouldn't she immediately take it back the store???I can not believe someone would take a phone that is NOT theirs -- that is stealing!!Immediately upon discovering that you've taken something that's NOT yours - especially a PHONE, you should drop everything and return it!!She should have called the store to tell her mistake... or did she not have any phone at all?I had to go home devastated without my phone.The back of the case is very unique and distinct: there's a thin pair of reading glasses folded flat in a blue case stuck onto the back.... that's mine! I just want to draw attention to this injustice and get my phone ASAP.... today if possible!

Was disppointed, I saw a customer with a dog in the basket!! Where is their hygiene policy! Managers shame on you. The Rogersville store is finally putting their "No pets in buggy" policy in effect. What is wrong with you people? Service dogs are always welcome along side the basket. No pets means no pets!

Good store, one of the only places in this area that sells live lobster and seafood. Prices are kind of high, but you get pretty decent quality in return.

We shop at Food City in Erwin at least twice a week. The produce and meat departments are my most frequently visited areas. Produce selections are huge and always fresh. I could spend all day in the meat/seafood section. I like to have my steaks cut the way I want them and the butchers never disappoint.

Clean little grocery store. Produce looked great and they had precut veggies in the refrigerated cases. Found everything I had on my list, except for a specific brand of ketchup. Bought the store brand and it was fine! I did notice that they had layer pellets and crumbles on the pet food aisle. Never seen chicken feed in a grocery store before! Check out was very easy, just drive your buggy to the left and walk to the right. They unload it and everything. I'll be back!

I've always loved Food City. The Erwin store however doesn't have a good produce section like all the others. Bread selection is not as good either. Everything else is just fine.

Very clean store. Fair selection of products, this store is smaller than most, which is a shame. Still have to drive 20miles to find larger stores to do the majority of my shopping.

We visit this Food City, about once a week. It is about a 45 min. Drive, but totally worth it. We find food items here, that we just cannot find, close to home. Their selection is unique and varied. Prices are also comparable or lower. Definitely, a store to " check- out " ..plus the drive up, over - the- pass " from N C., is beautiful. Especially, with the fall leaves.

Kinda pathetic that the deli has a list of ingredients for the stuff they make in-house. My wife got the Watergate salad which is made with pistachio mix. She called and talked to 2 different people 1 at the front and 1 in the deli. First the colored marshmallows don't have flavor and the deli person thought it did. On top it was made with LIME Mix. Who does thar. Kinda sad they wasted all that food bc of 1 persons inability to do there job correctly. If it isn't one thing it's another. We only shop here on occasion anyways

A great place to stop in after our Erwin GhostWalk for fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, highly recommend the deli. Awesome quality. Very clean store, but the store is new. The staff is still getting comfortable with their new positions. Hopefully, they will be much quicker to greet folks with a smile on our next visit.
