I’ve recently moved to the southwest Tennessee from a northern metropolis. I had traveled extensively and can say that I’ve eaten on every continent. Tennessee is a wonderful place - people are sincere and welcoming, weather is nice, politics are up my alley. The only drawback was the food… That is until I was invited by a friend of mine to Maggie’s Restaurant for lunch. Wow! That experience restored my belief that a good chef can make the magic happen anywhere. The place - as most in this neck of the woods - is pretty unassuming. Clean, simple and pragmatic. But the food… Fantastic! Finally something beyond fried-everything-taste-the-same typical fare. Yes, all the southern specialties are here, but they taste fresh, are garnished and served with care. Mike, the chef, puts clearly his French-German ancestry to work! I can go on and on, but you really should try it by yourself. Not only you won’t regret - you’ll be amazed!P.S. This is a breakfast and lunch place for now. It’s up to us to make it a great destination for dinner as well 😉

Super cute place, really pretty on the inside, the lady that was working there was super super sweet, they have food that you don't usually see outside of big cities too and apparently they're planning on expanding the menu even more, I got their alfredo with grilled shrimp and loved itEvery other small town restaurant seems like it has the same thing and this place was a really really nice change
