I have been a continuous client of this business since 1998. When the original owner passed away several years later, Kerrie was her assistant. She asked me to give her a chance while she was learning to take over the business. We stuck by her side and she has not disappointed. Kerrie continues to groom our 3 miniature schnauzers and I couldn’t imagine taking them anywhere else. She loves them like her own and spoils them every 4-5 weeks. Kerrie & Haleigh have become family to us. Thank you ladies for loving and taking wonderful care of our babies.

They did a awesome job with my baby. My Labrador is very skittish and shy. I was impressed with the care, and love they gave my sweet boy. I highly recommend ❤️. These girls are the best around!! This is one of the most professional dog grooming services in the area. They treat your pets and you like part of a family. They love and pet on each and every animal that enters the facility and make sure that they are well taken care of during the process of grooming and boarding as well. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I've been a customer for many years and will continue to be a customer as long as they are in business and I own my precious babies. The prices are reasonable and fair. Turn around time is very fast and efficient. Kerrie is always willing to accommodate. All you have to do is ask.

I have been using hair of the dog for several years. She treats my dog like her own and me like family. I have two dachshunds that go for nail trims and bath once a month and she is very fast and efficient. My dogs are not there all day like at other groomers.

Kerri took care of Roxy when we would go away a few days and Roxey loved her and Haleigh. She was diabetic and had to have 2shots a day. We ended up having to put her down. We got 2 pups a few months later and Kerri is taking care of them. Wouldn’t take them anywhere else. The girl who accused her of drugging the dogs doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Kerri would never hurt a dog. If you read all the reviews you’ll know what kind of person Kerri is. She is very accommodating.

I've been taking my little Soffie here for a year. She gets so excited when she sees where she is. I highly recommend her. She is very Professional and loves her job. I don't worry about Soffie, because I know she is well cared for. Thank you for loving your animals that you take care of and do a excellent job with. ♥️

This place doesn’t drug dogs at all she’s the best groomer I’ve ever known I know her very well So Madison Franklin I know for a fact she doesn’t do this to dogs at all and why u would say anything like this about her and her business anybody that’s ever took their dogs there knows the work she does is great and the clients she has boarded for knows as well so for everyone who’s reading this just know that Kerrie Ellison the owner of Hair Of The Dog doesn’t drug dogs that she boards

If I could this place 0 stars I would she neglected my dog saying she would keep her with her the whole time and take her every were she went but instead she left her in a kennel the whole time and gave her Benadryl when not needed because she is a 12 pound wiener dog that is 16 years old and we gave her 10 cans of dog food for the three days we were gone and my dog doesn’t even eat that much and when we got back she was drugged up and dehydrated never taking my dog there again!

I have been taking my two schnauzers there now for awhile and they have always done an outstanding job. They are very gentle with the dogs and are very helpful with me dropping them off and picking them up. They are the best groomers to take your pets.

We stoped by to see about getting my dogs groomed they said yes come back around 1 I got both my large dogs in the car and got down there and they were closed. I called them and they didn't answer this place is unprofessional and rude. Will never be back and will tell everyone I know to go somewhere else!
