Every time I go into this store it's CHAOS.. I don't know what the old lady hags' problem is with me. I was shopping and I ask her if she had a stool to get something down from top shelf. She proceeds to tell me she can't let me use a stool. I said, OK, can you get the item down for me. She proceeds to push her cart to the back of store and ignores my request. I have to ask the other employee if she can get a stool and get said item down. I proceed to go check out. I purchase a item at another store, it was out of date, looked horrible, and I was wanting to exchange it for same item. The lady from before speaks over the cashier and says She can't refund item in "HER STORE", that I'd have to take it back where I purchased it from. This is a first to me. I assumed, you can return a item purchased at any Dollar General store to another store for a refund.. Words were exchanged and said employee slammed her hands down on counter and tells cashier, You give her a Refund!! She walks off. I don't like her attitude and I feel if she doesn't wont to be bothered , she definitely doesn't need to be working in retail. By the looks of all the other comments, it seems to me, we are describing the same woman. She used to follow me around in store too. I wouldn't gave a 1 Star rating, but I had too! You definitely need different employees at this store.

I've been a DG shopper for years now, but I've never been treated so rudely by a DG employee until tonight . My experience was almost a cabon copy of some other reviews I've been reading . The one that said "old hag" and another basically said " paranoid methhead." The employee working with the "Hag" tonight is normally friendly and very helpful. I couldn't help but notice tonight she was nervous and looked a little frightened when "Hag" wasn't going to give me my original receipt back after making a return.She's a great employee. I wouldn't let that Hag run her off.

The manager and assistant manager are absolutely wonderful people. They will go above and beyond to help a customer.

Not exactly what i was expecting remotely. Anytime i needed to speak to someone there's nobody around. I understand you're going to be super busy with work and all, but there's a limit. I thought you're supposed work here to help customers as one of the descriptions of your job. When i finally found someone to help me out, they couldn't help me find what i was looking for... Seriously...To wrap this sad review up i gave an extra star because i do like the parking. What good is parking when a customer can't achieve at least a decent experience though?

I like the selection of merchandise in this store and the employees are always very helpful and friendly. The only thing that I don't like about this location, is the location.

Clean, organized, stocked & front faced.Cashiers can use a more upbeat approach when dealing with customers, Examples:Smile, Ask if that’s all they need, or did you find everything ok? Customers come back to the places that take care of them & make them feel welcome. Unfortunately.. when I walk into this store I automatically feel as if I am burdening the employees just by being there. I like Dollar General, but without the customer service it’s no different than any other place.

I go to the Dollar General Store alot. A. Its not far from my house. B. Their prices are very reasonable, download their app and you can save even more. C. Majority of their employees are very friendly, & helpful. The biggest downfall in my opinion is that alot of items are not always there, understandably they do get stocked when they get more in. I really do love shopping and saving at the Dollar General Stores though.

It's better than a big store and cheaper than a corner drug store. Dollar general has what you need, or a very good substitute, at an excellent price in a well lit, well stocked store. Staff is more than helpful and willing to work with you to find what you are looking for!From food to cosmetics, toys to seasonal items, from automotive to home goods, this place has it all!

I always find what I'm looking for and the prices are usually pretty good. They have a lot of cute stuff for home decor and a decent selection of clothes for a dollar store. No matter what location I go to I am always greeted as soon as I walk in the door.

Having never shopped in this store this review has nothing to do with what goes on inside. I gave this a 1 star review because of the lack of social responsibility of the owner. This business should not have been built where it is as it creates a truly dangerous traffic hazard and has already caused multiple accidents. If the owner truly cared for this community they would have sought a safe place to build.

Typical DG, slow checkout, messy isle! Very hard location to get in and out of parking lot. Also if you have small children hold onto them tight! This store location is literally within 5-10 feet of main strip with vehicles going 35-45mph and that’s the entrance. They have no railing or fence in case your child accidentally got away and into road.

I went in there looking for a couple of things but some nasty lady in the dollar general uniform was following me around even after I told her that I didn't need help after she asked. Then I want to leave so she follows me out and started screaming something about what I put on my pocket. Every methhead thinks everyone is stealing don't you?

Went shopping before doing laundry, asked the ladies for some help and they were rude, not helpful and too busy sitting out in front of the store smoking to be of any real assistance. This happened today at aprox 4pmish, Sunday 6/9/13. I called to get a phone number so that I could complain, to no avail all they gave me was some survey number on the receipt.I enjoy the dollar general stores, but the ladies working at this store, have VERY poor customer service skills, and smoking out front instead of being inside.. Is that allowed? There was no one else around to help. As many people as there are that need jobs, and these ladies were who Dollar General selected as employees... Makes me think less of the company. Train your employees as to what customer service is, and how to employ it. PLEASE.I work hard for my money, and will think twice about spending it at this particular dollar general.Sincerely,K.A.N

Although the location is difficult to get in and out of depending on which way you are coming from/exiting to, you can't find sweeter and more helpful employees like Destinee and Sharay. I go to this location because they are always helpful and knowledgeable.

This is the first time that i have visited this newly opened dg. There was no crowd. I did not wait long in line and the selection was greater than my local Dg on milligan. The cashier's that work there are always friendly. It's a good place to pick up some cheap items and I would recommend the Dollar General.
