I had a great experience at this pharmacy recently. Had an issue with otc ins coverage and Lola the front end team member really went above and beyond to help me! And she evened saved me some money! As a senior citizen this was greatly appreciated!, usually I'm not in this store but going forward I will try to use. Great experience.

The pharmacist Melva McKusky is disrespectful to Veterans. She is rude to the other employees and the general public as well. She over-reacts whenever her authority is challenged, or she is asked to do something she does not know how to do, like work with the VA Community Care program. However, the Veteran has nothing to do with the bureaucracy and should not be disrespected, or treated badly, just because she needs to make a telephone call to the VA to figure out how to do her job. She also yells at people from behind her high counter which she sits on like a throne and seems to relish her ability to lord over others. There is no excuse for such behavior from a so-called professional. People in Elizabethton should take their prescriptions somewhere else, like local, family-owned pharmacies to show CVS that they cannot treat people-especially disabled veterans - the way this awful pharmacist Melva McKlusky does.

This CVS and the CVS on 19E are the worlds worse when it comes to the pharmacy. I opted this store due to the bad customer service on 19E, but now I’m just going to start going to Walmart. Each time I go, something is always wrong or it’s going to take them another “15 minutes” which ends up being over an hour wait. There is absolutely no communication. I would advise to go somewhere else if you need prescriptions and can’t afford to wait the 2 business days it will take to get them.

The pharmacists are always incredibly helpful and overall nice. The drive thru wait is as expected. I've had no complaints over the past year coming here to get my medicine or small convenient stuff.

Love this CVS, been going there for years. Great staff. Pharmacy staff always helpful. My 91 year old father got his flu shot there today. Just wish the Pharmacist had been wearing her mask properly. I know they are hot & bothersome but everyone else in the Pharmacy was wearing theirs correctly. I love this store - that was just an observation.

I give four stars not three due to Pharmacist Amy who is always polite and kind. Malva on the other hand was her usual testy self today and I told her so .Also the rest of staff has been polite.

Apparently from reading other reviews, the pharmacy here has an ongoing problem. I was treated so rudely here yesterday that I assure you CVS will not get another dollar of my money.I went to pick up a prescription that had been verified by an employee on Saturday. They had been having computer problems but I wasn't in a big rush so I told her I would pick it up Tuesday. On Wednesday when I went to get it, it had never been filled and was not even in the computer yet. One of the pharmacy staff proceeded to tell me it was not her fault the computer had been down, not her fault they were 200 prescriptions behind, etc. Then told me I could come back in 30 minutes. I said, "I don't mean to be rude but this has been here since Saturday." She got visibly angry and said well I guess all the people in line behind you can wait, I'll get it ready now. She had it ready in 5 minutes, then told me to have nice day.I'm transferring all remaining refills to Food City as they are always courteous and kind. I would drive to another city before I would go back to this CVS.

Best service I've ever had at this CVS ,and I've been going here for years. The pharmacy was the biggest help ever,made me feel welcome and went out of their way to get me the best value possible on my medications. I want to send out a huge thank you for all your help ,it ment the world to me,I forgot to get names but I was there on Saturday June 11th around 4pm,,its nice to know some folks still care about quality service,,Thank so much !

Update: it would seem we have a disgruntled employee working in the pharmacy. It will be an elderly lady skinny with glasses.I went to get allergy pills in the store and the lady referred to sell me the otc medicine because she kept insisting i had covid. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I told her I have allergies and thats all and she refused to sell me the medicine. Went to wallgreens and they were professional and in and out in 10 minutes. Lesson learned, they obviously don't want your business, there raitings reflect.As i look at more reviews, It seems like a common problem an older thin lady with glasses is very disrespectful to the guest in the pharmacy department. Hope she is not altering prescriptions.

First the new maximum refill at CVS is 30 days (NO MORE 90's)! Now, they've done away with CASH-BACK for those of us without free, local ATM's...they even brought in a PAY-ATM to try to rip a couple more dollars out of your pocket!I can remember the good-ole-days, when a business tried to get you to come in for something you wanted...not abuse their customers by forcing their return! If they don't pull their heads out of their asses, my hope is CVS will go out of business very soon!p.s., The cashier was a complete ass about everything!

Like other reviews mentioned, the pharmacist is rude and unprofessional. The overall service at this CVS is poor. Today I waited at the register and there wasn't an employee in sight.

Forgot to bag my 1 of my sons medicines when I had paid for all 3 scripts for him. Thats twice they've done it now if its something they keep refrigerated like antibiotic liquid. The hours posted in the pharmacy drive thru are NOT CORRECT, when i returned to pick it up again they were closed. It was at 8pm. The sign read they close at 9pm. They also pick and choose WHAT to fill so if its a kids cheratussin cough syrup that has codeine or suboxone to treat addiction they'll refuse to fill it. Your best bet is the Walgreens. They are faster (wait is normally 15 minutes versus CVSs 45) and cheaper too because they have a ton of discount codes and coupons they'll use to get the price down if its more than a few dollars. And never once have I been treated hatefully. I switched after the incident with my childs very important antibiotics.

I don’t like CVS stores in general, but I believe in giving a fair evaluation of each individual store. Great location, very busy area! They have some nice employees, but prices are to expensive.

Was able to find the speciality skin soap that I needed. It was behind the pharmacy counter, and Kayla was a big help in finding it for me. Pharmacy staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Prescription took an hour while Walgreens down the road fills it in 15 or 20 minutes even when they're busy. The drive through was still closed 5 minutes after they're listed opening time. Came back to get prescription after going inside to drop it off and an hour later, I was told it would be an additional 15 minutes due to "technical issues" after waiting in the drivethru almost 5 minutes for their register to turn back on. So, obviously I went to Walgreens. I won't be back.

Bathroom(s) closed for ‘remodel’. Checkout card reader difficult to use/see compared to others I have used. The ATM is better than most. No fee and larger limit.

The pharmacist needed to speak to me regarding some medications I got, she announced it to the whole store speaking to me very loudly and mean. Was my first time going to that pharmacy and hopefully I don't ever have to go back

Will Never be treated like this again,my pharmacy other CVS was out of my medicine so went there my prescription was dated today to be filled so woman at front took it and asked if I wanted to wait I said yes I've got to get some things,after waiting and waiting,the gray headed woman pharmacist squaked at me loudly and said I'm not filling this till tomorrow,it caught me off guard and lady in front was embarrassed and said sorry.it wasn't her fault.the old pharmacist tried to make it better by saying if you are by here tomorrow I'll fill it.first time I've ever been in there and my last,listen you will never act like that to me.if CVS headquarters don't get you outta there and some anger management , afraid they will spoil from one bad apple.yes I will report you,I have been with CVS for 20+ years and dare you to talk to me like that,she really thinks she owns CVS.lol
