Paws to Care is a wonderful organization that helps people and the shelter get animals their shots, heartworm testing and treatment (if necessary) and spaying/neutering at a low cost. They also help find animals new homes. Some here in town, others are flown to northern states for adoption. The people there, especially Kelly Ford, are wonderful and caring. You can tell how much they love animals. They helped me when I took in a pregnant stray dog and to find homes for the pups after treatments and shots. I don't know what I would have done without them. Thank you Kelly and Paws to Care for all you do. You are appreciated.

About two years ago, it weighed on my mind to try and get involved in animal welfare in some capacity. Diana Griffith had a few conversations with me about Paws to Care (in its infancy stages) years before and those conversations resonated with me, leading me— when the time was right— to become a volunteer.In these past two years, I've learned and grown- spiritually and educationally- through this organization. In 2022, we adopted our youngest fur baby from PtC and I will always be grateful for her. I'm even more grateful that she was taken such good care of by PtC before finding her forever home with us. I wish her story was the story for all the fur babies in rescue.The volunteers and staff who take on this calling are some of the most amazing people, and I am proud to call them my friends. I've had my heart broken by some of the things I have seen, and I have also been healed by the love I've seen blanketed so selflessly on these animals in an effort to give them happier, better lives.We are fortunate to have this organization in our area and even more fortunate to have so many locals willing to commit their time to improving animal welfare in our community.

These people have such a love and care for animals just as I do. They do all that they can do to help animals they deserve people to reach out to them and Foster or donate and you can donate your time as well as you can donate money or anything else that is much appreciated and much needed as well but the staff is super friendly and they're very knowledgeable about animals and their health and their well-being.

They are the most hardworking & caring team I have ever seen. I adopted a puppy from them. He had medical issues & the vet he went to suggested he be euthanized. Paws to Care ensured he got surgery & he is living a healthy, normal puppy life now. So thankful for them!

I love Paws to Care!! I run a bully breed rescue, and we have taken in a few dogs through PtC. The dogs have great personalities, just as described to us, and in good health. All necessary paperwork was provided, as well as needed vaccinations, etc. The staff with PtC are extremely caring individuals and trustworthy.

These are some of the most amazing, caring, selfless group of people. They give up so much of their lives to care for and try to save as many animals that they possibly can. When we moved into our home in 2017, my dog got loose from her kennel while she was in heat and got pregnant. A few short weeks later we had roughly 16 puppies. We already struggled to afford spaying for the dog we had and another dog we took in the year before and we both worked no less than 12 hours a day. I posted the dogs for free on social media and soon received a call from P2C because one of the individuals asking for the dogs had a history of dog fighting. They assisted us with finding homes for the animals and vetted every single person so the dogs were homed safely. The last few animals that could not find homes locally were transported to owners they found in other states by P2C. For at least 3 years I received pics from owners across 5 states of pictures of our dogs. We have far more dogs needing homes in this county than they have time and they are almost all VOLUNTEERS. A little grace and appreciation goes a long way. Perhaps tell them thank you from time to time.

Very upset with them. Expected me to bring 13 dogs in so they could get info but they could not take them. 9 of these were 2 mo old pups. I asked if they could help with food and I would keep them. They asked for my address, I gave it. Not heard nor seen from them since. Very disappointing

All of the volunteers are great and do their best to help everyone they can. It’s surprising to me how much they do with how much gets asked of them. They do it with grace and full hearts.

In January 2023 I took a puppy that I called Girly Bird to Paws to Care, in a short time I was given an update.A wonderful lady and her son adopted this sweet puppy. I was told her name is now Luna and they love her to bits.I am so very proud of Paws to Care.
