Had our hogs processed there 9/2023. It was our first experience processing. Now that we have had 2 other experiences at another place. I feel like a review is necessary.They are not helpful AT ALL with cut sheet, which is very generic and includes little to no info. We also had to call 3 times over 3 days to get anyone to answer the phone. My husband took the high and said they didn't seem ready to receive. He had to search people out to find out where to go and what to do with the trailer. They told him someone would call him when they were done. They gave no time frame, hang time, etc. Their vacuum sealing wasn't done well, lots of air in many cuts. The bacon...ugh...looks like it was cut with a dull blade. It was just bits of pieces of fat, no marbled strips, and no strips AT ALL. Had bones (like a strip of ribs) in the shoulder roast... weird. The sausage meat is BARELY ground up, making it hard to put in patties since the pieces are so large.Will not return. Recommend Laurel Hill instead.
