Moved here almost 2 years ago. Everything at this store is overpriced. I buy fruit only to have it turn 2 days later. Can't find name brands I like, only their brands. I can't even talk about their meats. I would really like to shop local but I can't. I was buying cigarettes there but prices were jacked up 4-5 dollars a carton. The only reason I go in there now is my bank. How can you charge your elderly patrons such outrageous prices.?

Good, local grocery. Clean and well run. Staff are always helpful. All the basics plus some gourmet and exotic goods. If you want anything very unusual, you'll need to travel. Highly recommend Food Rite!

Some items can be a bit pricey, but for the most part, their fresh produce is generally cheaper than that of Walmart's, and the grind their own hamburger which I have compared to that of Walmart's and found them competitively priced but, this Food Rites meat tastes better, and I get less fat by far than that I get from Walmarts. Some products I would and do prefer to go elsewhere for, but I have found this store to be very friendly and helpful, and reasonably priced for most items.

Moving recently to Tennessee, I have discovered the beauty of small town living.the store is great, convenient. The prices are higher then other places, however I am ok with that, being able to shop local. The only. Inverness I have is a Check out girl you have, Haile is her name. Each Time I have been there, and have gone through her lane, she says nothing to me, acts as if it is a terrible experience to talk, be happy, let alone smile. She has ZERO people skills. So... future shopping for me there. I will go to a different checkout if available, or if Haile is the only checker, I will leave my cart of shopping there, and walk out. No pay, and go else where. She needs to either work in the back, or be trained better, or let go.My stand is this, if you are going to take my money, at least pretend you like me.Cheers

Generally dependable, clean and friendly, particularly for a small grocer, in a small town, with no real competition.Wednesday is 'senior Day' with discount, but be sure to mention your status to the cashier at checkout and verify you benefited.

Dyer Food Rite is the best. Helpful people. Clean. Stocked well, very nice people. I shop there all the time. You meet so many interesting people there.

A decent place to get odds and ends if you forget something you needed for dinner. It 8s more expensive than walmart, but you're paying for the convenience of not driving 30 minutes to the closest supsercenter.
