The beef prices are really reasonable and the butcher's will cut and trim it for you. Sometimes the store needs some extra cleaning but that's kind of to be expected when you have customers. Main complaint is that the Cashier's are teenagers who gather and talk a lot instead of paying attention to the customers. Probably first job and needs to be trained a lot more.

Prices are actually not as good as Walmart and honestly more expensive. But if you like the convenience of just running in and quickly getting what you need, then this could be a good store for you. However, the clientele that shops here are a little undesirable.

Store is dirty and smells quality of meat is terrible the older cashier is very rude I normally always go to the whitwell store now unless its just to get 1 or 2 things at this one but I quit shopping at this one because of the rude customer service and the change in meat dept and the stinky store.

Usually not very crowded and the staff are nice. The food is cheap and easy to find what you want. I had to take off some stars though because I sometimes get home and realize my food is expired. So make sure you check the dates. But other than that it is way better than Walmart.

They have great meat at good prices. Though the produce selection is limited what is there is appetizing and at at good price. Dairy has a good selection. Can goods prices are generally better than Wal-Mart. Frozen foods don't look particularly fresh; I never buy them for that reason. The staff is friendly and personable. Service is fast.

Stopped because Grandson needed to go to the restroom and there wasn't anywhere else to go. My husband said it was the nicest one he's ever seen.

The store was very clean and had fresh vegetables and meat. Also I liked the prices of the meat. They where low prices compared to Walmart. Oh and the staff was nice and helpful. I well definitely start shopping here before I go to Walmart.

This store is really dirty and the manager tried to tell me she couldn't get some bread from the stock in back when they were out in the front because they "weren't allowed". We tried contacting the store manager/owner 4 days straight and everyday they said he wasn't there. The cashiers are good though.

Great!! The cashier was so sweet and totaled my order in middle so I could find out how much was left on my card. That way I was able to get the rest that was on it. She also thanked me and asked me to come back and that a rarity in today's customer service. I donmissed the days when I told customers "Happy whatever holiday it was and I complemented each one with somethin g n personal(like your hair is so pretty or for guy I love your shirt or your kids are so cute because they love when somebody tells them their kids are cute or well behaved. It only takes a second to make someone feel good that day especially when they are elderly and may not see many people regularly). That's my idea of properly taking care of customers. Some kids dont get taught good manners at home. I hope I get that young lady again as my cashier. Keep her!!

Needs to have more items in the pick 5 selection. And prices are outrageous... I would rather spend my hard earned money at the Save-a-lot in Whitwell. Better prices and quality of the products.. much nicer and cleaner.. smells better too.

They have great customer service. Today the debit,and check reader went out. They could only do cash. I only had a debit and check. But they kept apologizing, hey it happens. Sent son to atm, got cash and paid. Even though other customers were so rude, I wasn't. I've been on that side of the counter. So bless their hearts they held their heads up high and even though customers were terrible they never got angry, and kept saying they were sorry. Great store. ❤

Very pleasant experience. The workers were busy but very helpful and the store was very clean. We drive off mountain to shop here because it's a lot better than the one we have out here that's closer

You can always count on this store to have a better selection Of meat when compared to Walmart. They don't generally carry brand name items which can sometimes be disappointing. I Would also like to see a larger come a better selection of produce. But having said all that I still prefer this store when I want to get a custom cut of meat or even just a faster trip as opposed to the ever giant Walmart.

Love shopping at this grocery store and have for 21 yrs. Coburn Dairy brand has an authentic taste and meat department is great with great prices, however the quality of customer service has gone down some over last several years or I'd give it five stars.

Clean orderly. No crowded and easy in and out. Out of the one thing I needed. Soy milk. But it's ok. Don't have as many of the brands I know so need to try these brands and see if the are quality. The clerk was nice and friendly

This place has good prices on most things just have to watch some of the stuff because Walmart is cheaper on some items if you are like me and on a budget. Save-A-Lot has a great selection on meat and that is really good. We also like the canned goods and the canned ravioli and spaghetti Os.

This grocery store is located directly on Hwy 111/CR 8. Surprisingly to me because my GeePS said to get off the Exit while taking Old County Rd 8 as a scenic alternative (which happened).This grocery establishment is clean, well stocked, fresh fruit & veggies, fresh butcher cut meats, dairy section, and frozen foods. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and really care about their store (so nice to see the personalization). A shout out to Betty with a BIG Thank You!! Awesome Save-a-lot store, and we've been to several in our travels.

They have a good selection of meat, dairy, frozen foods, chips and canned goods. Their prices are very competitive. They do not have a bakery or deli. They do have bread but not much of a selection of specialty breads or readymade sandwiches.

I like SAL, it's better than bigger places that you have to ramble around everywhere in. This time though, a little disappointed bc shelves were really low.... i.e. No coffee ( mcdaniels pods), no 12 pk cokes, etc., things that are very common and sell in numerous quantities.
