Just a little place to grab a bite to eat. The catfish is delicious and huge portions. Our server was quick, helpful and engaging. With the all-you-can-eat Catfish Dinner it is 3 large pieces of fish, hush puppies, and 2 sides of your choice for $14.99. My husband had slaw and french fries with his fish. I had a huge baked potato and house salad. The salad was fresh but a few more veggies or some croutons could have made it better. It was chopped iceberg lettuce, chopped tomato pieces, and a little shredded cheese. Also the tea was a commercial brew. Wish it had been real brewed tea. The dining area was very clean and the restroom was also very clean. Half of the building is restaurant the other side is a store. It was a great dining experience and I highly recommend it. The portions are large so be sure and ask for a takeout box.

Stopped by this place while riding on the VA DAV transportation. They have the absolute best chicken tenders and wedges I've ever had. I am not a fan of chicken tenders because they are always too dry or too hard for my liking. Not here! The wedges are not like other gas stations.(one huge potato cute in fours). Theirs are smaller and tasty. -Yum

Cagle Mountain RestaurantWe had lunch here for the first time since it was under new management several years ago, as a result of hear nothing but great comments and with the intention of having their “famous” breakfast.Sadly, they just recently quit serving breakfast at 10:00am. -1Our second choice was pizza. The Pizza maker was out of order. -1We had cheese burgers with onion rings and fries. They were good. Better than some. The prices were fair. Service was good. It wasn’t crowded for lunch time.Restrooms were less than satisfactory. -1

The 2 stars I gave are for the restaurant. If you need gas go somewhere else. Their pumps never work. It will take you an hour to pump $5 worth of gas because their pumps don't work right. No air machine for tires. No windshield cleaner. If you want breakfast call the restaurant and order ahead because your only choices will be the stuff no one else will eat lol. Can't get a bacon biscuit unless you call ahead or line up when the door opens. If you're a traveler, just stop at the BP at the bottom of the mountain instead. No food but they have gas and a clean restroom at least without all the foul, disgusting language written all over it.

I used to really like coming here because it was convenient and clean. This place has definitely gone very much downhill in the last 2 years. The trash cans are always overflowing with trash all over the ground. The bathrooms are filthy, they smell very bad, never have soap and are never cleaned. Light bulbs in the parking lot and in the store are always flashing and many of them don't work. The food is usually decent but I'm going to stop visiting because the place is just so nasty. I know it's hard to find employees these days but cleanliness needs to be a priority when there's food involved. Honestly I'm not sure how the restaurant hasn't been shut down already.

Restaurant and store were clean. Nice selection of items.Men's Bathroom was a messMost of the items in the store do not have a price. Got a Cheese Burger from the warmer case, cost me $6 for a bun, a small burger and a slice of cheese. If I had more options in the area as a truck driver, I wouldn't have stopped.

We stop here for our last fill up on gas coming back from Georgia. The bathrooms are clean, the people are friendly and my (adult) son always plays the claw machines lol

I've stopped here twice traveling through to visit family. Each time took a very long time to get back on the road. The first time we stopped to get lunch to go, and it took over 1/2 hour to get reheated tenders and fries. The second time we only stopped because my son needed a restroom and I knew there weren't any other options for a long while. The men's room was gross. Apparently the ladies room was down to one stall and there was a line of 10 ladies waiting to use a filthy bathroom. I wanted a coffee but there was no way I was trusting those coffee carafes to be clean. This place has no concept of customer satisfaction. They will not be getting anymore of my business. Shameful.

My wife and I stopped into the Cagle Mountain Trading Post after taking a backroad trip from Louisville back to Chattanooga. I’ll be honest, when we pulled off, I didn’t expect to have such great food and meet nice people, but we did. Not kidding when I say the burger and fries I ordered were some of the best I’ve ever had. Great place to stop.

Great place to order food, they have the best gas prices, they have a HUGE selection of disposable vapes, along with the pen you can get for salt nic juice or the carts you can put in the pen. Best prices on everything. They even have VERY CLEAN BATHROOMS! They prepare really good food in the restaurant side and right by the register as well. I think they open at 4AM, and close between 9 and 10PM. They have such a wide selection of drinks, snacks, they sell Mexican blankets for $9.99, you can buy Yeti cups and the lids, all the accessories for the Yeti cups, multiple sizes as well. They sell hats,(even boggins/beanies) cold 12 packs of sundrop, coke, sprite, etc. They take EBT cards for SNAP benefits. Absolutely my favorite store to EVER stop at. I come from Chattanooga every day for my job, and I pass every store for gas or anything else that I may need, just to go to Cagle Mountain trading post, (as I said, cheapest gas); friendly people working there, they even have a drive-thru if you don't want to get out or go in. They sell gallons of milk, fresh bread by the loaf, and if you like CBD, they have a great selection of that as well. Their vapes made by ELFBAR are $19.99 or two for $34.99. They have KangVapes, POP, AIRBAR, PUFFBAR, HI-5, JUUL, basically any disposable vape, rechargeable vape, throw away vapes, and if you have any questions you can just call and ask. The owners Ricky and Milly are extremely nice and helpful. I will always go to this store over any other store. They sell hot boiled peanuts, (regular and Cajun or spicy flavored). They have slushy machine, capachino machines, fresh coffee, 5 different size cups for coffee/capachino, their fountain drinks are EXCELLENT. You can also call your order in from the resteraunt if you like, it never takes them longer than 20 minutes to cook your food fresh. If you want to eat there, there are plenty of tables in the resteraunt side. This store and resteraunt is always very clean. If you smoke cigarettes, they have a very big selection of those, and smokeless tobacco too! They sell bags of loose tobacco, (including a wide selection of that, as well), along with the tubes and anything else you may need to roll your own cigarettes. What I love most about Cagle Mountain Trading Post, is if they don't have something that you need, all you have to do is talk to the owners Milly and/or Ricky, and they will order what you need! This is my favorite store to go to for gas and anything else you may need. They also sell the Krispy Chicken™️ brand, Hunt Brothers™️pizza by the slice, along with egg rolls, tater logs, the plain butter and honey biscuits, chicken livers, (so many items I couldn't ever name it all), a wide selection of biscuits for breakfast, and all of the quick grab and go food is right by the register. It's always fresh too! They don't just cook food and let it sit under the heat lamps. They sell tobacco pipes, (even the glass ones), jewelry scales, basically this is a one stop drop for ANYTHING you may need. I'm pretty sure they also sell KRATOM, and have a wide selection of it also, as far as what type you use. I LOVE this store. They have a very wide selection of beer and alcohol, too. If you are coming from Dunlap up I-111, the store is 5 or 6 miles from the Dunlap exit. ( May even be 4 miles). If you want to save on gas prices, to get the cheapest and best gas there is compared to other stores, it's VERY well worth driving to this store. They do have handicap bathrooms, handicap parking, and a handicap entrance on the front doors for the trading post, and the resteraunt. Visit this store, you will NOT regret it!

Big place that has about everything you need when on a trip. Fuel, oil, soft drinks, different kinds of cooked food. If you want a wake up place or just an experience to enjoy

Usually they have the cheapest gas in Sequatchie county. As a bonus they have some fascinating political messages scribbled on the bathroom wall. These are fun to read and break up the monotony of your drive. Huge selection of snacks and drinks and the restaurant is also very good. Delicious catfish and fresh fried chicken livers. The chef salad is big and yummy too. Overall this is a wonderful place to shop!

A good stop for assorted convenience type store items. Handy, as it's quite isolated on hwy 111. Get your gas, take a potty break, and fill your tummy, all in the same stop!

The all-you-can-eat catfish was awesome, but sometimes leaving overly stuffed can make for a sleepy drive home. The staff in the restaurant has always been very friendly and provided good service. The clerks are usually friendly on the convenience side. The store has a ton of stuff, and it may be able to keep one from having to go into town in the valley. It's certainly worth checking-out.

There’s a lot of stars I’m glad others haven’t encountered the problems I’ve encountered! First off the fountain drink I had was so watered down you literally tasted the water with a small drop of color and sugar! Also the men’s urinal doesn’t flush and the toilet door doesn’t close properly, check you’re sausage biscuits because they think you cook sausage on one side who does this ? In America we cook on both sides till dark not grey! Never eat any of the fried foods unless you have a iron stomach ! I’d like to see this place cleaned up a bit the bathrooms do smell better than they have and they have hand soap unlike most stores owned by these people! Good luck to ya and I hope you never experience what I have .

My review is based solely on the cleanliness of the men's room and the staffs inaction when told about it. I'm a trucker and don't have the luxury of being a local to jet back to the house and use the John in a pinch. One toilet has been out of order for at least a couple of weeks, and the other looked like someone threw a mud pie on the porcelain and seat. I approached the two women at the cash register of the general store and explained the situation, asking if there was another mens room. The answer was of course, "no." They murmured to each other for a minute and I waited for 15 minutes, within eyesight of the both of them, waiting for someone to rectify this issue. Nothing happened, no one seemed to care. Very disappointed at the inaction and non caring attitude these two displayed. I had to venture down the road for a while longer just to find a suitable place to pull a big rig in just to use the toilet. Absolutely disgusting.

Gas prices are always lower than every station I pass while traveling. (1.89/ gallon right now.) I live in KY... Huge snack collection, nessessities and cool souvineers (I am not the best at spelling). Bathrooms are always clean and service always friendly!

Well I stopped to go to the BATHROOM and I’m pretty sure they are haunted, and they filthy, dangerous. But I do agree that the fish is pretty good but that’s all that is good there.

Friendly and polite. Super convenient, large parking area, reasonable and competitive pricing for convenience, small selection of grocery items. They offer a short order restraunt that is well known to the local community for "all you can eat catfish dinner" and their scrumptious "chicken strips".

I was heading to Chattanooga from McMinnville for a doctor's appointment. I stopped by CAGLE MOUNTAIN TRADING POST  to get gas.BIG MISTAKE!I paid by debit card at the pump using the last $20 in my account. As I took the handle and inserted it into my gas tank, I pulled the trigger to start the gas. At the same time I heard what I thought was a waterfall and smelled gas. turned to look and the hose had fallen completely off. I freaked out a little and then ran in the store and told them to shut the pump off because gas was going everywhere. The gas ruined my new $75 shoes. I told the cashier I needed my money back ($16.92) so I could get gas at another pump. She said to talk to the manager about my money and about getting a new pair of shoes. I explained to the owner that I needed to be reimbursed so I could get gas. He went to the pump to check out the situation then he came in and went to the office to watch the video. He told me that I would have to talk to my bank to get my money back. I said I was using the last of my money and I needed the gas to get to my Doctors Appointment. He finally told me to pull to another pump and get the gas. I asked what about my shoes? They are ruined and covered in gas. He said he couldn't do anything about that. He told me'it was my fault because I pulled the hose out’What? Why in the heck would I do that? Because I wanted gas all over me so I would smell like gas at the doctor's office? Um...No!I had no time to go home and change my shoes. He told me to ‘Forget it, Call your bank.’ But I went ahead and pulled to the pump and the cashier turned the pump on. I got my gas and was on my way. Of course, smelling like gas, me and the car.I got some bad information in which I was told to go back and ask for his insurance company information so I could get reimbursed for my shoes and get the car cleaned. Well, on the way home from Chattanooga, I stopped by and asked him.Oh no… he wasn't having that. And continued blaming me for it saying I was parked too far away from the pump and that I pulled the hose down. When he seen the picture and that I was pulled close to the pump he still said I jerked on the hose to disconnect it.The police was called and I made out a report of what happened. I asked the police officer if I could get the insurance company information so I could get reimbursed for my shoes. The police officer, which happens to be a friend of the owner, asked me how much money did I think I was going to get out of this. Really? I told him I just wanted $75 + tax so I could get me a new pair of leather shoes because I knew the gas would never come out of them (and it didn't) I wasn't looking to sue him for a bunch of money, I am just not that type of person. He told me I could pick up the report in the next day or two. So I left and I haven't picked up the report yet. But I think I am going to so I can find out the number to the Gas company and maybe they will reimburse me for my shoes.I will NEVER RETURN to CAGLE MOUNTAIN TRADING POST.

Way over charged for icee drinks. My daughter got a large and I got a medium. They said her cups had extra (they were out of icee cups so we used soft drink) and charged for extra drink. I only paid because we had taken sips out. There was a dark haired girl that charged me and a blond headed girl that backed her when I questioned). I am upset for the principle more than the money. I should have just said no and paid for the sips and left the rest. Poor customer service.Your management can either defend thier actions or make it right with me when you see this. That over charge gives you an opportunity to save or loose my future business. My name is Tim

Decent food, very nice people. The people have always been nice, but the food has improved from what it use to be when the restaurant first opened years ago. Hope it always stays at least like it is unless it improves😊 Always room for improvement...😉😊
