Clean and well maintained. The store was amazing and I would come here for essentials if needed. They have a variety of products and everything seemed fresh. Some store have an odor this one did not. Ample parking and usual hours. Definitely cleaner than most sitters I’ve been to. Will be back in the near future for emergency needs.

Gabbey is always there to great us with a smile and a warm hello. This is certainly our go to store in Dover. We always find what we want and some days they have great sales on items. Sometimes we find unusual items at very cheap prices. We'll keep going back.

Decent store with decent people, but multiple times over the past few years I have placed a pick up order over the app. They delay it before the pick up window even starts, wait until AFTER the pick up time, and then cancel it, I assume out of pure laziness. Then, you have to wait multiple days for the system to give you your money back. Ridiculous. One time, a worker even canceled the order IN FRONT of my fiancé who was trying to pick it up and shrugged. Just don’t use the app here.

Was in this store at 4p.m today and it was very busy. 2 people working. 25 people in line for checkout. One worker working herself to death trying to check people out and the other unloading a truck. At 4p.m the busiest time of day. I was in line for 30 minutes. Your self checkout is worthless! What is wrong with you people hire some workers. This Is ridiculous.

This store is jam packed with great prices, almost overly so, but understandable considering it is one of the main go to shops so people don't have to drive 30 miles to the nearest walmart.The staff is sharp, professional, and doing a great job considering how many customers they deal with and how much product they probably push through per day. Cannot overstate the warmth and professional friendliness the staff exudes, and it definitely helps.The prices and sales help along with the Dollar General app with resultant coupons makes a big difference for people on a tight budget.Overall, a great store with great prices and an excellent staff. :)

I was in need of feminine products and none of the convenience stores sells the product I needed. Thanks to Mrs. DEB & MRS. HILLARD for helping me not make a mess of my day. They went above & beyond at 530 in the morning. Thank you ladies.

Hands down my favorite store to go to I can and will and always do spend at least one hour inside no such thing and ima just grab one thing or I’ll be in and out lol but no seriously though I got to say not always do I have to wait in line 3 times total can I remember juts waiting in line no other registers open but once was during busy hours and once’s had a new guy and I’m inpatient lol but I’m not sure if they juts like me or I’m kinda like a big deal there but I always get vip fast pass whatever you will call it. When it comes to check out. Not ever have they not had what I needed got 2 stores in my town so if one don’t the other will just hair die can’t ever get a good match or got what I want I need two and a half boxes lol but the people are wonderful and always always have people stocking and making sure everything is placed in the right spot on he shelf have to give to them. Every single time I use their restrooms never smelled like pee or been dirty just paper towel on floor witch could have been from a Kid previously but I don’t like the automatic lights I was useing bathroom once and didn’t move for all of 37seconds and the light cut off I screamed I was so scared lol like hello haha but hands down. A good store all around I wouldn’t shoot you in the wrong direction good Quality nice price and will price check. Only if you get them tho and very very sweet people I love dollar general :)

This location in Dover, TN is the closest discount store to Piney Campground. It has anything a normal Dollar General would have, but when I visited, the store was unkempt and disorganized and the bathroom nasty. Don't get me wrong, you can find good deals on a few necessity items if you don't mind the almost 7 mile trip into town and it's literally one of your only options nearby.

You dont go to Dollar General expecting Target. It's exactly what it should be and that is a general store. I have been let down By lack of products once or twice, but hey, take note of what I just said. Also the people here are friendly and diligent.

Dollar Store as my wife likes to call it . This place has a little of everything , Even a refrigerator and freezer section, Cool Literally ! A dollar isle. Another words if you don't want to drive all the way to the Walmart store come check them out Ya never know they just might have it ?? Good luck

The store manger is the sweetest good hearted and cares about her customers absolutely the best dollar general store I have ever been to Mrs Debra needs a raise she goes beyond the norm with the care and love she shows to that store is amazing and I am very thankful we have her servicing our store⛄🌈🎅🎄🎀🎄🎁🎄

A great place to get the covid virus as so many of the customers do not wear a mask and look at people with masks like they're crazy and won't move for them even at the checkout there right on the back of you no distancing at all and no one in the store seems to care

Merchandise was great, however were followed aroun the store like we were a big time shoplifting mob. (A couple of very senior citizens and our almost senior son.) I found this very disconcerting!
