We have been bringing our dog to Petco for years for pet grooming—staying loyal even after a couple of minor haircut mishaps. After today, NEVER AGAIN. First, they do not have enough staff to groom larger (60+ lb) dogs, so we had to wait almost 2 months for an appointment. Next, they wouldn’t use his dated rabies tag ID so I had to get his records online. Finally, he’s all set and my son leaves him there to be groomed this afternoon only to get a call literally 5 minutes later saying “he won’t go up in the table, come get your dog.”As I mentioned at the outset, we’ve been using Petco for YEARS (over 10). This is the second time at this location. Last year, he was just fine—“such a good dog.” This year, suddenly he is a “high anxiety” dog with “unacceptable” and “bad” behavior, according to the manager. CLEVELAND?? Our laidback, loveable lab/English springer mix?? No, what’s happening here is clear: inexperienced and/or frustrated, lazy, unprofessional staff.I definitely do NOT recommend. They have lost not only our business, but our entire family’s business.

Lorelei does a fantastic job with both my small Westie and my big Doodle. She is patient with the dogs and they both genuinely like her, which is saying a lot because the Westie does not like anyone! I have gone to other groomers in the area and Lorelei has consistently provided the best service and our dogs come home clean, cut, and happy.

We took our 10 month old Yorkie puppy here and we were told they may not be able to complete his grooming if he does not cooperate. She(Cheyenne) said we may need to pick him up if he's not cooperative and they would call us. He's just a puppy and that's not acceptable. This was his second full grooming.I called grooming department and no answer to see if he was ready. Then they called me back and Becca said she had to hand scissor clip him because she couldn't use the clippers. They were told he has anxiety.She(Becca) was very rude with her tone of voice. I let that go. My husband picked him up and he doesn't smell like he even had a bath no freaking joke. We will not take him back ever to Petco. He was there for 2 hours and 25 minutes before she called and said we can pick him up. We paid over $56.00 for this service with tax.I should have heeded to other negative reviews because they were telling the truth. Also they don't harness them because petco doesn't like the look of them (asthletically)per Cheyenne. I'm happy she did say that because Petco needs to change that very important situation to make it easier on the groomers and Safer for puppies and dogs like my Yorkie.

The groomer was extremely pleasant and nice. Great customer service. She took great care of our pup and he was done in an hour. The fastest he's ever been groomed. He smelled and looked wonderful and was literally not stressed at all after he came out. She asked tons of questions about how he feels about stranger and getting groomed so she could make sure he wasn't nervous or scared. Loved the way my pup was treated

Lorelei was extremely nice and helpful while grooming my dog (Lindsey). Lorelei went out of her way to attach Lindsey's Rabies tag to her collar. She also offered to carry Lindsey out to my car as I was carrying my baby in my arms. Lindsey looked and smelt great! She also told me observations she saw while cleaning that I wouldn't have otherwise known to address!

I have used the Dickson, TN Petco since I moved back to TN from England in 2018 & I have been extremely HAPPY & PLEASED with their work. I have 4 dogs, 2 Westies and 2 Teddy Bears and I love Lorali's work and she is always great with my babies!

Samantha, always treats my baby like she is her own. Angel comes back groomed just how I like her to look. Samantha always fits me in the schedule when I request it.

Went in for grooming of both my dogs and when I went to pick them up I was told by groomer Samantha that she could not clip the nails on either dog nor do the ears on the dogs because the dogs would not let her. Very displeased with this and I was still charged the full price.

i was very happy with my groomer and how she cared for my scared dog it was his first time at the groomer she was very paitent with him and he smells amazing ! great experience just the price for a bath and to be brushed i felt was a bit high other than that i was very happy with my visit
