My granddaughter adpoted a puppy from a rescue about 2 hours from our home. We knew we wouldn't make it home in time to stop at a place in our town so we did a search for pet supplies in towns we were passing thru. That's how we ended up here. It was the perfect place for us to stop. They were friendly and helpful and didn't mind (or show that they did and that counts) that we barely made it in the door before closing time. I would definitely stop there again and recommend it to others in that area.

I don't own a pet, but my neighbor's dog has taking a liking to me and tends to stay on my property far more than his "hoomans"; therefore I guess I have a step-doggy! So, I come to Petco to buy dog food, treats and toys. Not to say he doesn't have the same stuff next door. I know he has food. I just want to be a good host when he visits. But at this point the little fella is spoiled rotten and I suppose there's no turning back now!

Dickson Petco had the cat items I was looking for. The manager of this store is very helpful & has a great personality & friendly to all customers & is very caring for the many animals & fish in the store. He is the kind of person that should be managing a pet store. All the employees are friendly & helpful, too. They all speak to you & try to assist you with your needs. This is a good Petco store.

I’m appalled at how horrible my dog looked after being groomed here. Clearly don’t know what they are doing. Shaved his body and left his head untouched. Why am I paying full price for half the job being done?!

This is crazy! I just went and bought gecko food and treats 🐛🦗🐛 and when I requested a bag for my items, the guy behind the counter said, "I'll have to charge you .10 cents for the bag!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!The cashier guy was super nice and just doing his job. We just laughed...

If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would. Recently moved to Dickson and decided to take my puppies here. The grooming my dog got was such a disappointment and a mess. It looked as if her face, head, and tail were untouched. Her feet were a mess and in general looked as though someone did not know how to groom a Shih Tzu. I will NEVER be taking my dog back. I ended up having to drive over an hour back to my normal groomer to get this fixed. So sad. Not worth what it costs for a groom here.

The store was out of so many items it was a little discouraging. I drove to the store instead of ordering online because I needed some of the stuff sooner rather than later…and I still had to go back home and order the stuff I needed because the shelves were not stocked.

Used the Vetco at Petco and the service was awesome along with the price. I will keep my local Veterinarian for emergency issues but I am totally considering using Petco/Vetco for maintenance of my baby boy. Thank you Petco for the awesome experience and keeping prices fair and affordable. See y'all soon.

Years and years ago I went to a petco to have a dear mini-schnauzer groomed and it turned out horrendous. I swore I would never go to another petco again for grooming. I found myself living in a town with very few options and I thought, what the heck-her fur will grow back.I met Samantha C at the Dickson Petco and she has always done a fantastic job on my Spicy mini-Schnauzer. Spicy loves coming here, she even starts going crazy with excitement when we pull into the parking lot. We now call is Spicy Spaw Day and will only go to Samantha C. This isnt so much a review of petco as it is Samantha bc we will follow her if she ever leaves Petco.

We moved to Hickman Co 5 years ago and haven’t found a good groomer until I took our Jack Russell Dottie and Shih Tzu Kiko to Petco in Dickson. They job they did was fantastic. They haven’t looked this good in years. Now the true test will come Saturday 11-11-23 when I take our Pyrador Texas in to be bathed. Thanks to the staff.

It's a typical pet store. Prices didn't knock my socks off but didn't shake me down like a restaurant did recently.. They do randomly have some good deals. Usually some boppers (cats) that need adopting there too! I'm just glad they have my car his B.F.F brand of canned food. That's his drug of choice..

We had a great experience with the grooming services at Petco! Ryan did an excellent job grooming our cockapoo! He was very professional and asked for our preferences and delivered on them! He did a great job! The staff was also incredibly friendly when I picked her up, and I appreciated their kindness!

Great selection of fish, tanks, and accessories. I ordered ahead of time as no one else had the specific tank I was looking for. It was pulled and marked with my name and ready to go by the time I got there. Staff was very helpful.

Took my dog to Petco to be groomed and was told he was too mean to be groomed. He has always be groomed at Petco with a previous employee with no problem. My dog was giving back wet to me 2 hours after dropped off smelling horrible and scared to death. Told never to bring my dog back to Petco. Don't worry I won't every even shop Petco ever ago. If I could I will give you less than a one.

Absolutely the worst store I’ve ever been to! ZERO STARS!Everytime I go in I find skinny half alive bearded dragons. Not to mention every single enclosure they have looks like no one cares about them. How do you expect to sell anything? Any sort of animal. Some days when it’s not even busy they are still disgusting.Ferrets have corners of their own feces. While the employees are standing around in groups or outside taking a break. I’m not one to complain! I’ve worked retail, I’ve been in costumer service. This store absolutely disgusts me! I have 2 dragons, neither purchased from this store but due to it being the only thing around I find my self having to give them my money for their crickets! Let me tell you, they keep them in a giant trash can @ the register! Then when you get them home.., well the smell they give off is like they have been in there with dead ones for weeks! Probably not one time has this trash can been cleaned.I could go on forever but I thought I’d leave an honest review since none seem to be true or honest! I think corporate needs to get involved with this store! I work in Nashville and the store nearest my work is beautiful the staff takes care of the pets are friendly shelves are never empty.It’s worth the 30+ minute drive to goto Nashville.

Went in to get something for weaning kittens. The staff was great told me that if the didn't like it being back what was left for refund. The also.exolained how to properly measure dogs for various types of harnesses and what type next for each dog by side and weight as well as breed cause some bread have huge necks small bodies or reverse.

Visited Petco to find a flea collar or flea treatment for a kitten that just found our property. The gentlemen that helped my husband and I was very accommodating. We left Petco with exactly what we needed. The kitten is doing much better her eyes are not as goopy and seems to be much more comfortable.

Everyone at this location is always so helpful! Unlike most stores there is always an employees present and I never have to search for anyone to help me locate an item! Very friendly staff as well!
