What a great product and experience. I envisioned an extra large aquarium (500gal) in my basement to build my living space around. Glasscages website design was simple followed up by a phone for confirmation. This communication continued throughout the entire process. Shipping was simple and the aquarium quality exceeded my expectations. I'm beyond happy and highly recommend Glasscages for any custom aquarium.

Expectations beyond exceeded!! I ordered a rimless reef tank from glass cages. It arrived extremely well packaged strapped to a pallet. My expectations for this tank were high. I am quite picky about my reef tanks as I have been in the hobby for over 15 years and have seen a lot of poorly made tanks from big manufacturers in the past. This custom tank and stand from glass cages blew me away! The tank is flawless, beautiful beveled edges, clean silicone job. The stand is SOLID wood and is absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to set up my new reef tank. Thanks Joe and glass cages. It was an absolute pleasure working with you.

I wrote this beautiful, lengthy review then Google glitched, so I'm making this one short and sweet:I've only had my tank for around a month, so I can't speak to longterm but as of now, I AM ELATED!!!!!!Glass Cages far exceeded my expectations in every way. The craftsmanship of my 58x26x20 (approx 130gal) acrylic is beyond words.Pay extra for the extra clear glass, it's mind-blowing. You can see the light bounce off the fishes scales like never before. It's like watching an extra HD 3D movie. I cannot express how beautiful it is!Manufacturing took forever, almost 3 months, but it was worth it!!!!!The staff at Glass Cages is phenomenal.The fish love the tank and the extra swim space. Even the shy ones now come out and enjoy the open space, so I ended up not adding back their plants, except for in one area to hide.After having this tank, I will never go back to a regular glass tank again! My only regret is not ordering this year's ago!!!!THANK YOU GLASS CAGES!!!!!!!

Honestly the best company to get any aquarium from. They were so professional in helping me on the phone get my custom dimensions and the quality of the craftsmanship is top tier!I had 3 large aquariums made and shipped to me in California and they handled any issues so fast! The tanks have not once leaked or anything. Very happy with Glasscages and will order again when its time to upgrade down the road!

Ordered tank, stand and canopy in late February of 2021. Very easy process to design the size I wanted to fit in the space I wanted to put it. I ended up with a 95 gallon tank in a 36 inch wide foot print because of how deep I was able to get the tank made while keeping it a normal height so still easy to reach the bottom. Now that I have had the tank up for over 6 months I can say very happy with how well everything is made including the side door on the stand to more easily access my sump.

Ten years ago, I ordered a custom-made tank, lid, and stand from this company for my painted turtle. Anyone who has an adult aquatic turtle knows that it is very difficult to find aquariums that are appropriate for turtles and have large basking areas. The original I had made was just right - 36”wx24”dx17”h, with a basking platform and ramp. It worked wonderfully for my turtle for years, but this year I decided she had grown enough to need a deeper tank. I communicated with Joe from the company and he designed and built a deeper tank, exactly to my specifications. He was very responsive to my emails, made sure to get my feedback and approval of the plans before beginning the building process, and answered all my questions about shipping and how I would pick up the tank from the shipping hub. I had a very positive experience and am very happy with the new tank. My turtle will be very happy in this tank. I highly recommend this company, especially for turtle owners. They also have an option that includes an area for female turtles to lay eggs. My tank doesn’t include this so I can’t give details on that, but Joe did mention it during our planning discussions. The aquariums are not cheap, but the quality of work, materials, and customer service is high.

The team at Glasscages was very patient and helpful during planning my reef tank. Unfortunately there was damage when the tank was received, but GC was able to get it all resolved. The tank and stand came out great and has been up and running for about 6months now. Would recommend if looking for a custom sized tank.

Stand up organization that makes a great product. I ordered a custom turtle tank that I was moving across the country with and needed it in a timely manner. When I received the tank, just a few weeks before, it was cracked and unusable (due to handling).The team at glass cages responded urgently and turned around another tank within 10 business days (even delivered to me in New York). The tank is now set up and the workmanship really looks to be top notch.“Things happen” in business, but it is how the company responds that characterize who they are. Keep up the good work GC.

I have been impressed with the people and processes at Glasscages from the first inquiry to the experience of personally picking up the tank. Todd took the time to show me the facility and was very personable and knowledgeable. He certainly is passionate and involved in the process, he was also very complementary of the entire staff. As Todd showed me around I noticed a lot of large custom tanks, all sizes, shapes and complications. I bought a tank size that could have been purchased from a pet store. But I wanted better quality. I am 100% positive I got better quality from Glasscages. The point is I felt like I was treated the same as as customer who had purchased a very big expensive tank. We had a custom size glass aquarium ordered from this company. It turned out amazing, except for the time it took to get it and then get it in our home, I still rated it as a 5 star build! I wish they would’ve accurately quoted us the time and then when it came time for shipping it was always “next week”. But now that it’s here and set up we are very happy! 10ftx30x31 and it’s a showpiece! Still in the building process but looking great! Would order from them again for quality.

We recently picked up a 180 gallon from Glass cages and we are very happy with our experience! Our tank was very well made and very sturdy. Their glass lids could use some tweaking to make it easier to lift but it's nothing to complain about. When we arrived they loaded up our tank for us and Joe gave us a tour of their facilities and building process. He was very hospitable and the property the building is located is beautiful. If we didn't live 3 hours away we would be coming back to visit!

I have ordered two tanks from these guys. First one was a 90gallon That lasted ten years until I had a house fire. That tank was beautiful. I just received my second tank a 140gallon. The ladies that took my order were so polite and helpful. Then I talked to Joe about hole locations and he was great as well. I will never purchase a fish tank from anyone else. It arrived and I inspected it and it was flawless and the front panel is the low iron Glass and it’s unbelievably clear!!!! Highly recommend this company.

Every aspect of the process of getting a very large terrarium to our home was guided by the extremely helpful and courteous staff of glasscages.com. We ordered over the phone what size we needed and got our copy of an invoice via email within the hour. It took about 2 months from order to receive, but your mileage may vary as they build to order. I was nervous about receiving a broken tank from its long journey from TN to MI; however, the packaging was excellent and our terrarium was superbly intact! This is a great company with great service.
