The workers r so nice an they help u if u cant find what your looking for an the prices r higher but it's the only one besides the dollar stores but love there meat ive never had a problem with anything

This Piggly Wiggly is great! Friendly service, cooperative associates and almost fully stocked shelves which beats most stores now a days. The variety of products is wonderful and sales prices are terrific. We settled and bought a house less than a mile from this store back in the 80’s. We always checked grocery stores before we buy real estate and this Piggly Wiggly had the best cuts of meat, reasonably priced and fresh. There are not many places where the owner and various managers and associates may call you by name and shake your hand. We love Piggy Wiggly!

I've been coming here off and on for years and have never been disappointed. They have a surprisingly good selection for a smaller grocery store and the quality is always top notch. The bakery and deli is where this store really shines though as the food is always fresh and the servers are always friendly. Over all this a great experience into what grocery stores once were and probably would benefit from becoming again.

First time today, so friendly and awesome selection! EDIT: a year in, still the same family friendly atmosphere and quality selection! When I order pizza, which is a lot, they spell my name Nic on the box. It’s the small things that let you know this team CARES about what they do! From the younger cashiers to the flower lady, never a bad time in Decatur Piggly Wiggly!

Being the only grocery store in town I guess I can understand the prices. If you are willing to drive half an hour you can definitely get a better selection at cheaper prices, especially produce wise. The lunch/dinner they offer in the deli is decent and so are their pizzas. Make sure to pay attention to the dates on their meat. We have had beef expire very quickly even when it was within date.

A nice place to go shopping for all your grocery needs at affordable prices and the associates have always been very much helpful and friendly and seem to enjoy doing their job and making sure that you found exactly what you are in need of also. A good location also and the premises were always nice and clean and the shelves were always stocked with just what you are looking for. I never had a problem with what I needed being out of stock. Overall a great place to shop with Wonderful Employees and great competitive prices. I will recommend The Piggly Wiggly to everyone and give them Five Stars All Day Long. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

There is never any Mayfield tea in the case. I walked the whole store looking for someone to look in the back couldn't find anyone. Went up front asked the cashier and she said she would get someone to look. I went back and waited by the door. Nobody came. A young man came by Went in the back came out with a milo tea and went toward the front. Never looked at me or acknowledge me. Turns out when I got up front he had took that tea up front for me and left it with the cashier. WhY?? I was standing right there.Poor service and this is every Saturday. I come here on Saturdays for tea and this is my experience every time.

They have a good selection. Prices are fair. At this time they are not requiring mask. This is the reason I drove the extra distance to shop there. As long as my normal stores require them and they don't I will continue to shop with them. Their employees are great. Nice and helpful. Store is clean.

Good little supermarket. The deli meals looked wonderful. The store is well stocked and the prices would compete with larger markets. Nice clean and easy shopping. Not too little and not too big. Good meats and produce.

Does not sell women’s cosmetics. The bananas are always green. In their defense, Decatur is a rural area, and they are the only grocer for miles. Go west to Dayton 15 miles or East to Athens 10 miles. So guess they do the best they can.

The store is never clean. It’s very unorganized and usually you can’t get down most isles because they have the stock associates blocking the isles stocking.

Hometown store, some high prices but some good sales. Keep eye on prices being rung up make sure the right one is rung up. Check pizza made in store to make sure it's what you orderedHad one I asked for extra cheese when I got home didnt hardly have any cheese at all on it.

My sandwich meat was expired over 3 weeks. I should of looked at the date but they should take bad meat off the shelves too. I won't be going back. Prices too outrageous for expired meat that was 8 dollars.

Got one star because I could not do negative stars. This is the worst grocery store I ever been in bar none. They actually had chicken on shelf that was black and rotten. Everything I looked at was freezer burnt. Should burn it down and start over. Really considered getting tetanus shot when I left.

Love the new energy saving lights installed, really brightened the place up. A great local grocery store, especially if you watch the sales. The deli has good pizza and hot bar.

Until I recently visited this store, I had not been into a Piggly Wiggly since I was probably about 8 years old.I just went in to grab some sodas, but the tackiness that I was able to witness on my short trip in here was well worth it. Times may have changed, but The Pig sure hasn't.

The Pig has gone down hill a lot. Be very mindful of dates on items. Majority of the frozen vegetables have freezer burn. Deli is still solid. Pre-packaged meats have been bed on the shelf. Keep a close eye on what produce you buy. I go to the Dollar General and Dollar Tree when I can. I also, for majority of my grocery items, buy at Wal-Mart ...worth the trip.

This place brought back a lot of memories! They look a lot better than they did years ago. I was impressed. They didn't bug me about my service dog. They have a nice variety and the deli area is really nice!
