Insanely rude and unprofessional pharmacy staff. Long story short, I was childishly & cowardly (š¤”) hung up on when trying to find a resolution as to where my daughter's prescription for her inhaler was. Backstory- my daughter's doctor was saying it had been called in (note I called the doctor TWICE to confirm, and each time they said they were 100% sure the prescription had been sent in) but the pharmacy was saying they had received no such thing. Meanwhile I am playing the middle man in a game of he said she said. I was simply explaining the situation to the pharmacy tech on the phone (which I am assuming it was a tech because I can't see an educated pharmacist speaking to a patient the way I was spoken to), and instead of handling the situation like a "professionally trained" adult (or just an adult in general) I was met with a bitter old woman who sounded like she would have rather been doing ANYTHING else than her actual job & was hung up on in the middle of an important conversation about a CHILD'S medication. No trying to help come up with a resolution, no guidance as to what steps I could possibly take to get my daughters medication, NOTHING. Just a hateful woman who was quick to hang up the phone in the middle of a very personal, very critical conversation. I'm sorry, but if you have ZERO problem solving / customer service skills, completely fold under pressure, & have the attitude of a toddler, maybe pharmacy isn't for you. Do better.

Got an email said my order was ready. I drive 20 minutes to get there and the lady was rude from the start after I told her my name by saying ānope not ready. Not my fault seniors waited last minute to do their senior project.ā She claimed to be the manager and was confused on why I got sent the email saying my order was ready. This will be the last time I ever shop at Walgreens because the clearly canāt get there stuff together.

Horrible. This place sucks! I got food poison from a can of Vienna sausages from here!! It's always expired so never get food from here. Stick with Dollar General. Walgreens needs to have the health department called on them. Anyone got the number,call them ASAP!!! 0/10 never getting ANYTHING from here anymore.

Any food I ordered from here was out of date and disgusting! I got food poisoning 2-5 times from this damn place! I wouldn't be surprised if you got shut down. 0/10 never getting anything except my medicine.

Went to pick up a my script and was told they were out of it I was told I would have to wait for the truck the next day. So I called them and asked if I could pick it up at another Store.I was then told they have plenty.So I went back in.Waited again inline they shorted me 30 of my meds.I didn't notice till I had driven 30 miles home.I went back waited in line again.i was then told I would have to wait till the next day so they can look at the cameras.The worst Walgreens ever.They found the missing meds.After 60 unnecessarily miles drove and 2 hours of waiting in line.I don't recommend this Store.

Waited on line 20 minutes just to check in at the pharmacy for a flu shot and the lone keeps getting longer. I feel bad for the rest of the people in line. 35 minutes later I'm out of the store not exactly sure how that could be considered acceptable

Excellent customer service and management is always friendly and helpful. The people complaining are a bunch of Karens that don't know how to behave in public and are going out of their way to harass employees in an attempt to get them fired. Grow up idiots.

I will never go to Walgreens again, I have been there every night this week in line and been sent around 5 times to tell me that I had to find a new dr that was able to prescribe the medicine I neededā¦..,, Did that then was told āsince I switched providersā they didnāt feel comfortable āfillingā the prescription, mad is an understatement they have lost me and my families business for good! š” if I could give 0000000 stars I would!

The length of time to go through drive through is the same ridiculous as trying to call, and that is if you even get to speak to someone before the line is hung up. Usually a 45 minute wait NO MATTER WHAT!!! Hey I understand a staffing shortage, but this has been a problem with Dayton Walgreen's ever since Ekards/Rite Aide closed. Place definitely needs a revamp of the staff or something, or the staff needs to quit self pleasuring or something, it's ridiculous.

SEP 2019 Update: There was a short wait, as the pharmacy was busy, but things moved quickly. Luke was very helpful & courteous; he was also apologetic about my wait for my flu shot. However, it was no problem as it was not much of a wait. I still appreciate the thought. Kent was very friendly & professional when he gave me the flu shot. Dianne, the cashier, was friendly & even suggested a good place to eat in Spring City, while we chatted. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.They had almost everything I needed. The cashier was polite & friendly. It was what I expected of a Walgreens

The management at this place is the worst I have ever seen. We have to wait over an hour in line anytime we need our prescriptions, inside or in the drive thru, and when we finally get to the front of the line, our prescriptions arenāt even ready. This is literally every single time. We end up having to go weeks at a time without our medications. We have even been given the wrong prescription BY A MANAGER. When asked to speak to the manager on duty tonight, she was extremely rude and unwilling to help or even listen. Manager Chasity couldnāt even bother to stop and talk to us. She just kept walking and blatantly refused to help, her excuse being she āhelpedā us last time ???? If Manager Chasity doesnāt want to do her job and manage the store, maybe the company should find someone else that actually will be willing to help their customers. Covid may be a reasonable excuse for the long wait times, but it is no excuse for the way the manager speaks to and treats customers. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anybody.

If they answer the phone they are helpful. Today I called in and waited my turn. 43 minutes. With the automated answering service saying there was 2 callers ahead of me then one then Someone answered said walgreens then put me on hold again. Then i heard the ringing as if someone was about to answer.Wrong after about 2 minutes it just disconnected.

I appreciate this team! Isaac has been especially helpful in figuring out our prescriptions when they have an issue with insurance or something. There have been some issues here and there but we have been using them for a few years now and they have always tried to do their best to take care of any problems.Keep up the good work!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY. I can not stress enough how bad they are when it comes to wasting your time. Waited in drive thru for over a half hour before I got fed up and went inside. The pharmacist told me my medicine would be another 5 minutes before it was ready. Waited 40 minutes and just left. Changed pharmacies at my next doctor visit.

I waited in line for an hour to get my medicine, go to the window and the guy told me my medicine was not ready and I'd have to wait 15 minutes but made me go through the line again but was incredibly rude about it. I'm in incredible pain and this is very unprofessional. I used to be an Assistant Store Manager at a Walgreens and am highly disappointed by the customer service at this location.I would give less than one star if I could.

this is the worst Walgreens, we should go to the city about this location and petition inspections plus review of the pharmacist bc I donāt see how anybody is ever able to get their medication - this location should have all licenses revoked

This Pharmacy Walgreens in Dayton, TN is seriously lacking in any semblance of customer service. I have never seen a chain pharmacy such as Walgreens act so indifferent to its own customers! I have tried both the "Drive Thru" and the "In store experience" and it's debatable as to which one is worse!If your doctor makes an error on your Rx, they expect YOU to fix it after they tell you about it!Pprioor

Terrible terrible terrible.Due to my insurance not wanting to pay as much on drugs at other pharmacies, I started to use Walgreens. I can't do it. I'll pay more. Always waiting 30 plus min, can never get anyone on the phone, just bad customer service all the way around.

Went the pharmacy yesterday TWICE. Went the first time and waited forever in the line and then they told me I would half to wait 10 minutes. I didnāt have time so I left. They told me to come after 8 because itās not busy after 8. I go at 8:30 waited in line till 9:30 they told me they didnāt have it. Told me to come back the next day and when I get there today waited in the drive thru line for 30 minutes. Then they told me there truck got there but no one went through it yet and said my prescription could be on that truck or not. DO NOT GO TO THIS WALGREENS IF YOU DONT WANNA WASTE YOUR TIME !!

I was here thursday March the 22 and Iām sick so I sent my 2 sons in . The lady at the register didnāt give a bag or receipt. My sons got the wrong item so as soon as they got back in the car I sent them back. My one son who has a learning disability put the item on the shelf at first , and she corrected him which is fine thatās not what Iām complaining about , but when he came back in she yelled at him and said ,"he got a receipt" which is false she proceeded to call him āstupidā and my other son told her ," He can not help it ma'am . He has a learning disability " and she said that itās not a real thing and thatās just stupidity. She embarrassed my son because she made fun of him putting his item on the shelf and wouldnāt let us return our item we had just bought and came back with within seconds she then grabbed my other son and thatās when he came and got me and I came in. She wouldnāt let me return my item , and I had to buy the other stuff.

Went in to pick up a few things and when I asked one of the employees where the mothers day cards were her reply was "I don't have time to help you find a card" so I repeated "where are the mothers day cards?" She rudely huffed, pointed and said "somewhere down that isle". She was very unprofessional and rude. If I were her manager, she'd be fired.

Never seen lines so long. Drive thru and inside. All the time. Not sure what is going on there. Have never seen this at any other Walgreens. This location is unbelievable.

When and picked up my wife's prescription which was supposed to be pregabalin like what said on the bag outside on label, but instead was latuda. Now she has to do without all weekend because Walgreens in Dayton doesn't pay attention of what they are doing. Of course they will say it wasn't there fault. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH WALGREENS DAYTON TN.
