The workers there are so kind and friendly and that's a plus, the store is clean and always well stocked, and great prices on everything. Like this place way better then the big chain store.

For a discount grocery store this place was decent. Great deals on Frozen vegetables and I've found a lot of the beef is higher quality than Walmart while also being cheaper from time to time. Canned goods are also a great value here. Some of the off brand items actually aren't too bad and this can be a great place to shop if your on a tight budget. Produce here was also decent such as bulk bags of potatoes, they did not go bad quickly and lasted a while. This is now my preferred local bargain grocery store.

I've only been in a couple times since the new one opened. But the staff was super friendly and very helpful. Downside. Their pick 5 isn't 19.99 anymore it's 24.99.. but they also have a wider range of pick 5s than food city does.

The remodeled Dayton, TN SaveA Lot is AMAZING! From the second you walk towards the front doors & grab a new sleek looking silver gray buggy. New aisle lay out is so much more shopper friendly, but we are still graced with the same wonderful staff we shoppers have all come to know. Deals galore, good quality items, & yet, no serious price increases that I had noticed at 'ahem, other places' in recent months. Plan to make this store a primary grocery stop.

Went in and they had my wife's favorite pumpkin spice, in moon pies up front with a sign 10 for 10 or $1 each. When we got to the register the kid say they are $1.25 each. We showed him the sign and all he could say was they must have forgot to change the sign because the ring up $1.25. He had the deer in the headlight look. Dear God, I know help is hard to find but???. Left and looked back, they were pulling the sale signs. Sad!

Great place to go if your in a hurry or if you dont like Wal-Mart crowds.although you don't have as many choices.always seems to be clean and the girls up front are friendly and smiley 😊

The new remodel and rearranging of the store with the updated produce section is really nice. The manager and other employees are the most helpful and friendly of any store around. Great prices as always!

Save-A-Lot has surprisingly good meat. The bread prices are better than other stores in the area. The store brands are quite good in most products. I can get in and out more quickly here than most stores in Dayton. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Your new family packs of boneless skinless chicken breast are B.S. and that's not brown sugar! Love the new look though. You guys went with a new distributor and the packs are smaller with less in them for the same price. We have 6 people under one roof and it is hard enough to make ends meet with out portions getting smaller and prices going up.

Super comfortable atmosphere. The coldest grocery store I've been to and I love it! I get hot shopping and never feel like looking but not here! Great selection and great service!

The selection of meat was not very good this time around. And when I went to check out, the cashier never said hello or anything the only thing she said to me was my total. She didn't even thank me after I said Thank you when we were done and I was gathering up my bags to leave. In fact, she turned her back on me to talk to the male cashier behind her. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

I don't like that they rearranged everything because now I can't find things as easily. Overall, the customer service is great and they had some good deal the last time I went.

Cheaper than Food City. That's for sure! Its the only place I go for my Diet Sierra Mist! 3 for 9.00! And I don't go in without joking around with the cashiers! Sometimes they just make my day!THANKS YOU GUYS!!

Do not go here to fill WIC vouchers!! For regular shopping, its fine. But every single time I have shopped here for my WIC checkout has been a nightmare. Cashiers aren't allowed to checkout customers with WIC so you must wait on a manager and they have messed mine up every time. Even the store manager. I actually had to tell one manager how to use their register to ring it up correctly, but she refused to listen because I don't work there. Eventually another employee came to help her and told her exactly what I said. They seriously have no idea what they're doing. Besides WIC, this is a decent place to shop. Besides the one time I found an open knife in the frozen produce. When I took it to the cashier she said it was hers and she must've forgotten it there.

They have great weekly sales on meat. Check out their "Pick 5" meat sales. Their sales are good but other prices are a bit higher than, say, Walmart, but the meat sales make up for it.
