This place is a great place for breakfast! The cinnamon roll was perfect ! Also, the strawberry cream cheese crisper was delicious, not too sweet . The Big Country skillet had everything you could want in breakfast, all the meats, potatoes, eggs, gravy, highly suggest! Had a bite of the country fried steak, best I have ever tried. Our server was awesome.

They have an optional holiday menu that features prime rib. I love steak and eggs, so I elected to get the prime rib, medium rare, and eggs, with a seasonal pumpkin muffin. OMG! This was one of the most tender cuts of prime rib I've had in a long time. It was delicious!Service was also excellent, too.I also love that they aren't afraid to promote the true meaning of Christmas with this exterior nativity scene.

We visited for lunch/dinner on a Thursday in July.Food:The side salads were good (lettuce, cheese, carrots, tomatoes, red onion, and dressing).The country fried steak was great.The green beans were just okay.The chicken tenders and tots were good, although we're equivalent to buying a bag and frying them at home.We got cookies to-go. Amazing ❤️ The taste, texture, and size were perfect.Service:Our serving was nice and we had no issues with our order. It just seemed average, nothing above and beyond.Atmosphere:The place was not busy at all. It is a clean and cozy place. The front entrance had a lot of info out, a claw machine, and a cute little prayer box.Bathrooms:The bathrooms were nice, cleaned, and stocked.Parking:It is in the same area as a gas station. There is plenty of parking in the area.

Had to wait 14 minutes to get seated, but was so worth it. The service and food were both wonderful. The host was friendly and efficient. Our waitress Lyndsay was great- friendly, competent and attentive. Could not believe how easily she handled a huge tray of food. And the Chocolate strawberry French toast was amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before heading back home to NC. Perkins is a place that our family from OH really appreciate. From the beginning I was greeted by a gentleman with a bright smile upon his face. He asked for number in our party and name, then gave a suggestion of inside or out. We were not in a hurry so inside was fine and outside is hot right now. The was about fifteen to twenty minutes. Once we were seated our waitress Lauren was a delight and served us with attention to details and a smile. She checked on us often and kept our table cleaned off by removing the dirty dishes. The food was delicious fast and hot. It was after one but we all opted for breakfast. Upon leaving Kevin checked us out with a smile and appreciated our patronage. A definite recommend!

Food and service was outstanding. Our server was Jordan and she was awesome. The manager was super friendly and checked on us several times.My sister and I both had the California Benedict and my son had the breakfast burger…all amazing! Exceeded our expectations….and the food legit looked like the photos in the menu!

Perkins served us a decent breakfast. Pancakes were fine. Had to send my egg back because it was folded and rubbery when I had asked for scrambled. They were perfectly scrambled when they came back.This restaurant needs a remodel. It's clean, but very early 90s. All the servers were very nice and pleasant.

Awesome food and selection. Our server Devin was very impressive he took our order no notes and remembered ALL our random alterations and requests. He was attentive to our family's needs and kept our drinks filled. Followed up with us when our order took a little longer than expected and made sure we were satisfied with our meals.Kid-friendliness: Devin our server was so wonderful and kind to our kids.The manager I believe assisted too when we picked out muffins to take home at the register and was sweet to the girls.

My sister & brother-in-law & I stopped for lunch after flea market shopping. We were seated promptly. The restaurant appeared clean. Our server performed her job, but didn't appear to be happy about it. I ordered from the seasonal menu: blueberry muffin French toast platter. The bacon was nice & crispy. I had cheese added to my scrambled eggs & they were cooked well & quite tasty. The blueberry muffin French toast was THE BOMB!! It was rich & warm & wonderful. It had the perfect ratio of topping to toast to butter. I will definitely be returning to order these again before they're gone

Update on July 9, 2023This is the third time we have come here.I ordered the Butterball turkey and stuffing with 2 sides. The garden salad was fresh and delicious. I had 2 sauces with it, ranch and french. I also had the baked potato with butter and sour cream. It was good.The sweet tea was slightly weak but I added lemon and it was ok.They have me a sweet tea to go. We will be back for sure. Good and fresh food for good prices.Definitely a 5 star like the last 2 times.This is the second time we come here. The first time was for supper and I don't know why I didn't write a review because it was delicious! Oh well.We came here June 6, 2023 for breakfast. I had 2 French toast and 2 eggs. The French toasts were huge delicious and moist. There was sweet butter in them. Mmmmm... I had the Sweet Tea with lemon wedges. It was a bit weak but just as good. My husband has eggs, sausages, breakfast potatoes (pieces) and pancakes. He loved it.When we left he bought me 2 Mammoth muffins, Cranberry Orange and Blueberry. Blueberry is not t my usual kind but this one was delicious . When we got home I chomped on both of them. After only one I could not resist, lol...The service was good. The waitress who was friendly was training a new waiter. We are definitely coming back for a supper meal and this time I will write another review.Our bill came to about $45 (tio included) but it was worth it.

Perkins is #1 !! The food is great, the service is absolutely the best of any sit down restaurant around town and the view from the patio is beautiful. Try the chicken crisp melt or grilled chicken (seasoned from your choice)!! And, the pies and muffins,OMG, they are delicious!! ❤️💯Vegetarian options: If you don't eat meat, there are egg white options and every vegetable you could think of available for an egg white omelette.. the salads 🥗 are always presented great with many dressing options! 🥦🌽🍅🥑 🥕🥔🥒Parking: Plenty of spots to park, either side of the building and in front of it! Plenty of handicap accessible spots.. 🚗 🏍️🚌🛣️🚸Kid-friendliness: Kids are always made to feel special.. they are offered their own menu (coloring sheets) and a cookie with their very own kids meal. ⛹️⛹️‍♀️👧👦Wheelchair accessibility: There is a whole front row of handicap spots available.. also, ramps for chairs and scooters! 👩‍ 🛵

Delicious hot and fresh food!!! Service was excellent! We enjoyed our meal so much that we said we are definitely making the drive back here again from Knoxville to eat again. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast/lunch on our way to the mountains!

Our food took a long time to come out. When the waitress brought it out, most of our food was cold and almost all of our bacon was burnt. We reported this to the waitress. She apologized and said that the manger would help at the register. We didn't order any more food or send it back because we were traveling and could not risk waiting. When we got to the front, the manager only adjusted the smallest check for our table and said she "could" not adjust more than one check. They were not interested in doing the right thing. We will not be back. The waitress was nice though and we wish the best for her and her children.❤️

Food: The sandwich’s are banging. Breakfast items are standard, pancakes have a savory taste which I personally don’t like.Please tell your waitress to tell Hunter who is the cook to wear a hairnet.Service is friendly and attentive.Give it a go, it’s worth it.

Pros: good waitress, reasonably fast serviceCons: overpriced menu, mediocre food , small portions on some itemsCertain items, such as their sandwiches, are rather overpriced for the portion and quality. The ingredients for their omelets are in very small portions as well (e.g. I added avocado for an extra charge and got maybe 1/8 of a small avocado).Quality wasn't terrible, but could have been much better (e.g. broken/not emulsified hollandaise).Also, we came at brunch, and they were out of several items on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Anything grilled is cooked in butter. They worked around this on a hamburger by not boiling the patty and not grilling the bun.Kid-friendliness: Quickly provided a high chair and crayons. There are kid-friendly options on the menu.

This was our first time eating here, impressed me, I ordered Steak and Pepper, just like homemade food, steak was tender, sauce was delicious, should come sooner. Nice friendly waitress, have to stop to try their food when you are in town.

Decided to grab a quick bite after traveling 720 miles. Stopped in around 8 pm, food was good, but the staff seemed to be shorthanded, but our waitress had moved to the area with her mother from Florida. The waitress was very upbeat and knew the area. She is what made our experience great at the restaurant that evening, even though they were one cook short in the kitchen.

My goodness. Very dirty restaurant,service non existent. Server look like they didn’t wash the uniform in a month.Why do you give out a menu that’s not available on the particular day?Bad bad bad,go to Hardees or Ruby Tuesdays around the corner peeps. Much cleaner and better service.

My family and I are frequent visitors since we live close by, but after our latest experience we will not return. While we were seated quickly after coming in at 7pm, we had to wait close to 10 minutes to place our drink order. When our waitress came back with our drinks and took our food order, we noticed a roach crawling across the top of the table. We chose to leave and eat elsewhere because I do not want my young son or wife eating at a restaurant with roaches. As we paying for our meal on our previous visit, one of the workers was using some very "colorful" language within earshot of the register and our son heard what was being spoken rather loudly with no consideration that customers were able to hear the conversation.
