Dandridge Food City is horrible.OVERPRICED and produce is rotting on the shelves..Still same horrible produce.Now we are our own cashiers..YOU PAY ME!! Went today 1/11/24, Yogurt was on the shelf dated 12/16/23¿? At the prices they overcharge and allow products to be outdated..WORST FOOD CITY EVER..STAY OUT OF DANDRIDGE LOCATION. 👎Today precut celery was $6.00..I can/will certainly cut my own celery..OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR CRAPPY PRODUCE..🤬 prices jump a dollar per week on some items..this store is price gouging so Steve Smith can fly around in his helicopter.Produce still sucks, rotten apples are bagged and for sale..

Clean store has never ever been dirty not once in all the years I've been there staff are super understanding to their guest customers whatever u call it and help them as much as possible they don't make u wait and when there's becoming too big of line at checkout they will hurry and open other lines to make sure no ones standing in line for too long I've only ever met like 4 staff members there that were just rude and made me feel little and stupid a d embarrassed me but only one works there now out of the 4 and she's working on the way she treats people besides her though I live the fast quick service friendly helping caring staff I love it all

Supermarket with really good prices on a lot of products. Their deli and bakery were outstanding. Kids enjoyed the bake goods there. The staff were friendly and the place were clean and organized. A lot of free parking and located in a quiet neighborhood.

Store is well stocked everything is great as far as organization.Prices are as can be expected with this inflation.The reason I gave 2 stars is because when you check out with a buggy full of groceries you have to bag them yourself.Dont know if it’s lack of help or what.Several last few times I been here there’s no one to help the cashiers.Maybe the help is too good to bag groceries?What about the elderly?If they don’t have the help the lazy manager should do it.

We were in Food City the other Day and we were looking for our Lewis Keto bread and one of your employees noticed and volunteered to go look in the back for some and we went on shopping. And it was a bit later he looked us up and refilled it and ask how many we would like and we told him 4 and he got the 4 and put them in my electric cart we were so impressed be cause we have been in the store a lot and if we ask about thing most of them don't take the time to look or anything sp we were very impressed with his friendly help and it actually brightened our shopping experience I looked up and his name tag said Scott he's a tall like thin man very friendly tell him thank you again from us Farren and Jeanette.

I purchased almost 3 lbs. Of the ground chuck on sale yesterday the 23rd. I believe they put 73% burger in the 80% place. The burger was overly greasy, maybe you have a new employee doing meat but this shouldn't happen.

This Food City was very cluttered and dirty. Employees rather just look at you and talk amongst themselves than to offer help. The seafood guy was no help at all.

We've always gotten our birthday cakes from this Food City's bakery and they have been amazing every single time. I had a baby shower cake made for my best friend who was doing a mermaid/ocean themed baby shower. This was absolutely the BEST cake that we have ever had! I showed the lady I spoke with a couple of pictures on my phone because I didn't have a chance to print out colored photos to bring in but they worked with what I gave them. This cake was so moist and so decadent! Every one loved it!!

Not sure why they remodeled of the prices were than forced on customers to pay for the remodel. It is one of the most over priced stores. My neighbors and I drive to Kroger and Publix. We all agree if we are going to pay such high prices we might as well drive 20 minutes to Publix and get better quality and fresher food. Shame on a Food city for taking advantage of locals. Self check out is useless. Have to call staff to override produce and bags all the time.

This food city is the closest most convenient grocery store in the area. Unfortunately, they have lots of rotten vegetables. Right from drop off, the vegetables and fruits are ready to rot. It's too bad really. Why are they accepting those shipments??They also don't have a varied selection of items in the produce area and many times they don't even have an item in stocks.Staff isn't rude just not too friendly. They will help but you gotta ask for it first.Salad bar is pretty good and fresh for a grocery store. You can package your own wings, but you heat them at home.Recently remodeled and looks a lot better.Bathrooms are always a little trashed but definitely decent enough to use the restroom.

Food City is awesome! We order our food online and then set a time to go pick it up. They always have the stuff we order. We don't have to worry about having to choose certain items. They always have what we want and the prices are awesome!

This is, by far, the best Food City I have ever been to. All the employees are friendly, their produce is fresh, and the meat selection is really nice.I frequently get medications thru the pharmacy here and have always had great experiences with the staff.On a side note, the new renovations they’ve undergone look great!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Store renovations are coming along, but the redesign to facilitate mostly self-checkout transactions necessitates at least one attendant at all times. Authorizations for alcohol purchases and items that need to be voided are commonly required, so that any unattendance easily results in a backup despite a dozen or so registers being open. I'm cool with scanning my own groceries as long as an employee is there for the inevitable authorizations.

Over priced, but the distilled water is affordable and has the screw on lids versus the popups for the gallon jugs. That's the only thing that's affordable. Some days my hips give out and when I called last night to ask if someone could pull two gallons of water and leave it at self-checkout, a nice woman said sure no problem. Then I called 40 minutes later to let them know I'm on my way and Jen-- a manager (???) Said they were understaffed and could not do that. This is the second time she's been rude like this. When someone is handicapped and calls to have one item taken to the front during a very very NON BUSY time, you would think that Jen would be more accommodating. Not so much. 😒🤔 I am not lazy, I have back issues. Jen should probably not be in customer service as a manager. 👎🚧❌

Bought some cupcakes for the game yesterday to take to a football party, and was so embarrassed when people tried to eat them and about choked to death. I believe they would have had the icing not been piled on top, helping to push the sawdust dry cake down. Everyone that did try one, threw it away after the first bite, and others thanked me, but no thanks when they saw the trouble people were having on the first bite. Really need to do better quality control of your baked goods!

I love going there at any time of the day and getting fresh burger for our hamburgers. The Taste is so much better when the beef is fresh. Thank you meat department for all your hard work. There's also been so much work to expand our Food City. Hot bar and salad bar that's awesome. Of course more products in the store. Great job

The dandridge food city has a bakery deli worker who has no hair but tattoos in its place. She was so rude when I asked where the hot bread was. She made me feel as though I was stupid, I did not know that store stopped making hot bread, and it was quite rude for the comments she made. On another note, I also went to the a front end manafer because I was looking for something else, and they too had no clue where you would find bread crumbs, NO help at all. They were to engrossed in their conversation. I finally ended up at the meat department where I saw a kind face and somebody I knew and he helped me literally stopped what he was doing and came out and helped. The reason for the single star is because of those other 3 people front end managers and bakery deli worker that where so rude. I don't think I would go back to Dandridge Food City to shop again.

Bought some food from the BBQ Truck that was set up in front of the store. We had the ribs and the smoked sausage which were both excellent and hot and fresh. Employees are nice. My only complaint is that the price point in the entire grocery store is higher than other stores around. I wish the prices would be in line with other stores in nearby towns.

Even with their "Grand Reopening" this store provides substandard fresh food. The fruit and vegetables are either not ripe when purchased, or past prime and goes bad after a day or so. The meat selection is mediocre; the meats are normally bland and tasteless. The fish is all previously frozen and tasteless. Employees often walk hurriedly past shoppers in need of assistance. I have been witness to checkout personnel and baggers openly complaining about the work conditions. Dandridge grocery shoppers are not well served.

They tried to charge me more than what I was supposed to pay. The manager recognized it, she told me to come next day because the” office close at 10pm”, yet the place remained open. How is that possible? When she realized that doesn’t make any sense to me, or to anybody else, she asked me to follow her to another place for check out, tried to change some prices manually on the machine , gave me another terrible receipt where everything was messed up, etc.etcMy questions to you is why you remain open if you cannot refund the customer two hours before you closed? ( the manager said the “office close at 10pm, that’s why she cannot refund me until the next day” I was there around 11pm, and she ( the manager) ended giving me some form of refund..You guys need to be competent, learn your jobs and be honest with your prices and stop lying to customers about things that doesn’t make sense.Enclosed the picture of the receipt for reference.
