While out for a “Saturday” drive exploring around Douglas Lake we stopped here for lunch. The staff, service, atmosphere and food were nothing short of awesome!!!They are in an old building/house that has a rich history and is around 200 yrs old with the original flooring. This place is an absolute treasure. Will definitely be going back!!!

Went during lunch and had a great sandwich! The server was friendly extremely helpful and attentive. The sandwiches were great and the price was around $11 per sandwich.We ordered take out for dinner as well. It was rib night and they were amazing! They were seasoned perfectly and juicy. We ordered 3 rib plates and each had about 10 ribs per rack. It came with beans and slaw for around $15 a per plate.We will definitely be back!!!

We were driving interstate 40 and looking for a place to eat and came across this gem. The food was great and had a good rotation of beers but what made this place really great was the owners. Jake was very nice and made us feel welcomed and made sure that everything was great for our visit. We had the special rib-eye steak sandwich for the day and it was amazing! If you are in the area drop by for a beer and some food!

Went at 11:30 am to avoid the lunch crowd, but it never really got that busy. I was disappointed that hamburgers were only being served now at dinner, so hubby & I settled for the Oh La La, French Dip. Not bad, only we negected to order the extras like tomato, onion, etc. Our friends enjoyed the Moulflatta, with different meats & cheesees. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the old building. Service was good. Prices may be considered pricy by some, but not terribly bad. Will have to return some Saturday evening to sample their BBQ ribs.

Took my brother who was visiting from out of town and my kids here for the first time. The waitress/bartender/cook/manager was the only person working and was taking a beer delivery. She was kind but alone which made for a long wait and it appears the kitchen is very small. They have walls covered with one dollar bills that people have personalized, which is cute till you read the overwhelming amount of hateful and crude messages left by patrons that are allowed to stay up. Overall we had two beers and four sandwiches and our bill came to 90$.

I will never go back. They didn't have much of a menu and they only had 2 of the items listed on the menu. There was no cook on the property. I ordered a soda and it was BAD. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Not available

Jake is the owner here and never stops smiling. There was live music and they were grilling hamburgers that taste as good as it gets. Charcoal grilled...yum!!! We sat up at the bar and met new friends that we purposefully met for breakfast the next morning. Such a great atmosphere, good food, beer and people. Can't go wrong here.

Neat little place. Historical building I believe they said was built in 1820 I believe.Bartender was quick to welcome me and ask if it was my first time there. She then explained the menu, recommended a sandwich (that was excellent) called Crying Arnold .Had good conversation with others new to the place. Enjoyed my food and beer. Wasn't expensive and will be back when in town again.

I visited during the Irish Scot festival and it may have played a hand in this visit. I reserved a table and when we arrived I was told to pick any of the tables. They were not that busy, it was 5:30 pm. No one came to our table to see if we wanted a drink or food. When the bar lady went to another table to take drink and food orders, I asked if she could get our order. We had been waiting for over 20 minutes at this point. Their menu offers several items, but none of them were available, her reply, "we aren't doing those today". When asked about a pretzel with cheese, she said sure only to return to the table with the same, "we aren't doing those today". I live within 5 miles of Dandridge and was hoping to find another place to eat, but this is not it.

Do they brew their own beer? No. Do they make the best sandwich in east TN? Yes.Feel bad that I rated this 3/5 before trying their food.Daggum, the Murph is killer. Hard to remember a better sandwich. I'm still sitting here and may order another one lol

It's the locals & the owner Jake for me. Dinner specials are the best around to pair with either live sports on TV or live music played by local talent. Sit at the bar and visit with Jake, his love for this place is OBVIOUS in all that he does. It's the kind of place you walk into where 'everybody (especially Jake) probably knows your name'.

1st time here..out exploring this quaint town..walked in and immediately welcomed and asked how Our day was going...Our Bartender/Server was friendly and warm..She asked Us Our beer preferences and suggested several...We took Her advice on the beers..and also Her suggestion on the food specials..I had homestyle chicken and dumplings...I'll tell You it was the best I have ever had! Wife had a prime rib wrap..full of tender beef and veggies with a vinaigrette dressing..and a mess of chips..great sandwich!! This is one of those places..You only know..if You know!! Now YOU know..stop in for a beer and a bite...You won't be disappointed!

Found them on Google as we were driving west on I-40 last Friday night. We had the BEST hamburgers. Sat at the bar because it was crowded and got to talk to Jake. He's great! We will definitely stop in again.
