Our Yorkie Rocky had to have 5 teeth extracted yesterday and was kept for observation last night. Dr. Nix has been our vet for years and we have always gotten exceptional care for our two dogs. You can tell Dr. Nix loves animals and treats her patients like members of the family. She is absolutely amazing! Thanks for taking care of our babies.

I had an emergency with my cat yesterday and had never been there before. They could not do anything for her but gave me directions to follow at home. Without their advice I would have done all the wrong things. My cat is improving, which did not seem possible 24 hours ago. I am so thankful that they took her right in and made it so much easier than other places do.

Omg they are awesome and anyone who disagrees with me then you don’t see her being rich or anything of the sort she loves animals and I have never had a vet charge me 32 for a office visit and and the medicine. The other choice you have is another vet that I used and over a 25-30 year period charges what probably 60 to walk through the door and money money money now is what they want. I had spent at least 8 grand through the yrs maybe more so when my dog got hit by a car while visiting a friend in Catiz ky i flew to them and they kept him over night and said the surgery was off because he was walking around and then I went to get him they wanted 400 and something dollars and I only had a 100 and they wouldn’t give me my Toby I had charged and paid them thousands and thousands and my aunt had to come and put it on her credit card so X-ray and overnight almost 500 ......I don’t think so I immediately went down to hillside and she’s saved two of my dogs lives and I listen to what she says do and money is not her objective but saving my animals and keeping them comfortable with not telling me I can’t have my baby back unless paid in full. She’s a awesome person as well as a good vet and I drive from the ky line just for her to take care of my babies and from the bottom of my heart I have had her cry WITH me as we thought my one wasn’t going to make it through surgery but she did. I give her a five star because she’s a awesome person in every way and she will love your animals it’s obvious. What more could you ask outta of a veterinarian. Thank you Hillside for all you do. I can't say enough great things about this place.This is the only place I take my 2 dogs and 1 cat. Doctor and staff are friendly and down to earth. She won't try to hound you to buy all those expensive products for your pet, or belittle you for not feeding your animal the top shelf foods.

Best clinic. Their first priority is your pets needs, not making money off of you. My dog had a random growth on his ear pop up, we took him to a different get clinic in town and they said "It's no big deal, just a quick surgery." For a second opinion we took him to Hillside and the Vetinarian examined it and made sure it wasn't giving him any pain (it didn't bother him at all) then said "It will go away in a couple weeks." And with in weeks GONE. They could have made money off meds or a surgery but they didn't because it was unnecessary. Highly recommend.

Great place to take your pet. They listen to your concerns and are thourogh when it comes to giving care to your pets. Their rates are better then others in the area the the staff is great too.

I would like to thank the clowns at Hillside Veterinary clinic in Clarksville for not allowing my cat to travel with me comfortably with prescribed sedatives. As they found this to be an outlandish request. When I "asked for drugs" as they repeatedly stated I apparently looked shady and they must have sensed that I was traveling with 2 kilos of uncut catnip. I also was planning on taking the sedatives meant for a 13lb cat to get.....well to get no effect at all obviously. Thank you my cat will now howl and be terrified for 1300 miles. But you put a stop to my drug seeking behavior. SMH! The questions about my cat's intentions of traveling for pleasure or a permanent move....priceless. And I know it seemed shady that I cant remember where I got the last sedatives my cat took...perhaps the clue to that was when I said I AM A TRAVELING NURSE!!
