Update 10/2018: Newer employees are friendly and helpful and the store is much more organized.I walked in the store there was an employee there, James, and I simply asked if there were any gas cans being sold here and I get a huge sigh, rolled eyes, as James walks towards the automotive isle to glance down about 75 feet away and tell me there were none. I walked down to look myself as he stomps off and I found one sitting on the shelf. There is also expired food on the shelves and it is very clutter on the floors. I did find a great deal on greeting cards though.

The employees are helpful, but unfortunately the store itself is packed with entirely too much merchandise. This makes the aisles very narrow, crowded, and every shelf from front to back is cluttered, overly filled with items. You'll get a claustrophobic feeling inside the store, as 2 shoppers can't pass one another in the same tiny aisles that are in place.

Wonderful example of how Dollar Generals should be! Being from out of state & needing last minute items can be frustrating, always nice to find a place like this! Very friendly staff, shelves were well stocked, and aisles were clutter free. Bathroom was very clean, which is rare...

The only one I visit is on Peavine in Fairfield Glade area. The workers are always hard working, they're glad to help you find something and the store always looks clean. I have never gone in there and find cluttered or trash laying around. Prices are fair for a quick in-and-out store. They do carry a wide selection of items, although their electronic selection has been cut by 65% at least. I believe that is due to lower sales than expected. I also recommend the store to do your quick in and out shopping.

Store was a complete mess could not push cart down several aisles due to being blocked by boxes of inventory. Had to move boxes of inventory to get to items on the self. Cashier on her cellphone with her children and their grandmother while checking out a lady in front of me and stayed on phone while checking me out. Very rude behavior since she was more interested in her phone than the customers.

I stopped in to the dollar store the other day to pick up something before I went into work and there was a lady in there trying to purchase something for her daughter that was sick and the manager or whoever she was the lady working there come out cussing that lady saying F this and you be that very unprofessional for any public store I've heard better languages people getting thrown out of bars if I was the lady that she was talking to I would have knocked her teeth down her throat I will avoid going to that store for now on I haven't ruined my whole day

This dollar general is just like all the others, but for the staff. They are always friendly, helpful,and ready to offer a kind word. The store is always clean and stocked.Always a pleasure to visit.

This place is ridiculous.. I used to work here and we would have never gotten away with keeping rolltainers on the floor all the time, having stock crammed up high on top shelves. It's a mess every single time I go in. They even had DG corporate come in and revamp the store and take all their overstock and here we are less than a year later and it's WORSE than before. How hard is it to stock your shelves and keep a neat SAFE store? Also, all their sale items are misleading with their handwritten signs and many items aren't even priced and in random places.

If the store is going to close at 7pm but online it says 8pm then you might need to change it online so consumers don’t waste their gas by getting out to come to the store thinking you’re still open. While I was in the parking lot 5 different people pulled up thinking you closed at 8pm. So I called and the lady that answered said they were closed. I told her it says 8pm online. She then told me that the store has started closing earlier since covid19. Post it online your correct time of closing. I wasted my gas because someone Failed to do their job.

Dollar General is my go-to store for so many things. The employees are very accommodating and most items are a few cents cheaper than local markets and it adds up.
