I have been a shopper at IGA for 20 years . Love the little home town grocery. Often have some amazing deals as the did today. Bought 2 packages of Oscar Mayer bacon for 3.48 each . Normally 8$ plus . Also bought a whole piece of new York strip steaks and had them slice into 1 inch steaks . 6.48 a pound if you buy the whole thing . What a deal. Great looking steaks . Eneded up with 18 steaks for 90$ . That's 5$ a steak. Wow . Thanks IGA .

This place is in my neighborhood. I go there a lot and like the atmosphere and the people. Very close to Gibbs high School. I've known the owners a while now. I guess it's still Joe, Dale, and Lisa. Unless it's changed, or different from what I've known or thought.

Steve, the assistant manager at IGA, made my day with his kindness and compassion. You can tell that he cares so much about people, and he is a perfect example that there is still good in the world. He insisted on helping me find a couple items in the store after I had mostly given up on finding them myself. When I went to check out, we ran into some problems and he again insisted on making sure everything was taken care of before I left. He even ended up paying for some of my groceries when the problem couldn’t be figured out, which was just an example of him going above and beyond to take care of a customer. It is rare that you see kindness like that these days, but Steve showed me tonight that good people still exist. He always offers kind words and the sweetest smile when you walk in the store. He’s just the best.

Little pricey but local so it's to be expected. Store is well kept and veggies etc are in coolers. No bugs. Overall good place.Great parking. Never fight for a spot or have cars bumping my doors.

Today while shopping in the store I believe my son was discriminated against because of his age and his looks. My son is a teenager and his clothes are worn. He has money but he is careful of what he buys. However he was told to leave because" he was causing a disturbance and scaring the customers." My son was respectful when speaking to the assistant manager, even offering to leave his school bag at the front desk. The manager refused his attempts at reconciliation and instead of arguing my son left the store. When I spoke to the assistant manager he said he told him to leave because someone had said they saw him take a drink in the bathroom. According to his brother who was with him my older son never went to the bathroom. I asked if they had cameras because I know my son and I know that he did nothing wrong. No, they did not have any cameras. No, the assistant manager never saw my son do anything wrong. Going only on what somebody said the assistant manger told him to leave. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty and why would you choose one persons word over another without proof. My son was simply shopping and if they needed to search his things to prove if he took something they could have asked and he would have allowed it. My son was not given a chance to clear his name and that is one of the most frustrating things about this other than the fact that he was treated this way because of the way he looked.

This place has fallen hard since it has new ownership. I've stopped going here now after being a customer since they were at the 4 way. They constantly sell rotton meat now. It seems like they're goal is to kill someone! You're going to get sued soon when somebody gets food poisoning! Told the manager and he really couldn't have cared less. I give it a year before it's closed!

Their prices were very good they had a good meat selection all of the employees were friendly and helpful. I got in the store and out of the store quickly with a big smile from a pretty cashier and a perky young man that offered to carry my groceries to the car.

It's a good little grocery store, it's been in business for as long as I can remember . Prices can be a little expensive compared to bigger box stores. But if you need a few things, it beats going all the way to town, to get what you need. You'll spend more money going to town than just stopping in here.

It looks the same as it did when I was little which makes me really happy. Everything is laid out and organized way better than other stores.Also they have the best loaded baked potato salad

Great community store, well stocked with National brands as well as private label items. Prices are exceptionally competitive with much larger chain store. They always have the weekly specials in stock.Staff is always friendly. Being handicapped, it is a pleasure to shop there. Scooters are always available and fully charged. Have never had to bag our own groceries. The baggers always assist us to our car and willingly help. Reminds me of when I was growing up in the 60's. Wish there were more stars to give.

We were looking for a different grocery experience than Walmart and Food City. We live a little bit of a drive (25 minutes), and we are kind of out in the country so nothing is convenient to us and thought we would give this place a try.The staff was friendly, the store was clean, the isles were wide, the shelves were stocked, there were no lines at checkout and it was quiet and easy to shop (even at noon on a Saturday).We will definitely be back and use this place more often. May even make this our regular grocery store.

The staff is typically very friendly, with the occasional exception of the teenagers. The older staff members are always great. It is the only grocery store in the area, so not much competition, but they still have good prices and a decent selection.

Actually I was kind of impressed. I haven't been to a small grocery store like that in a while.... Overly friendly staff prices were actually very reasonable.... The inventory level is lacking but you can definitely get all the food groups and essentials... Their meat selection was pretty good though.

Very poor experience today. I picked up their ad and couldn’t find two meat items that were advertised. I asked an employee and he didn’t appear to be able to read the ad, but recognized the pictures. He asked someone else, who told me they didn’t have them. She said they run the ads without securing the merchandise and that Sunday is a bad day to shop there. At checkout I asked a cashier where to get a rain check. He didn’t know what a rain check was and told me where to find ranch. The employee who explained to him what a rain check was told me they don’t bother giving them out. I honestly should have left without the few remaining things in my cart since I now have to go to a grocery store anyway. They don’t appear to be restocking the store. I’m wondering if they are closing.

Close, convenient location with ample parking space, along with the advantages of a small town feel!!! All of the employees are warm and friendly folks always quick to greet you with a big ol smiles!!! Prices can't be beat and they'll even push your cart out to your car and put your groceries into it too!!!

Midway IGA always has good deals. It's the only place in town I can find Land O' Lakes cheese. They also have the best deli fried chicken and coleslaw of any place around.

Is independently owned and operated small Hometown grocery store is very pleasant to shop. Every week they have a new sale and featured items. The deli on the inside has homemade items that you can eat for lunch or dinner. You can pass through and grab a quick bite to eat there or you can take it home. They have to butchers on side and a decent Quality Meat selection. Very small produce section and Frozen Foods. The people are always super friendly. They accept cash check or credit cards.

I wish I lived closer to these people this is the sweetest set of individuals I have found in a store everyone is so nice and helpful some of the prices are high on some things but mostly just normal ... I am forced to shop at kroger because it is the closest thing to me I wish the IGA was my store.. Keep up the good work IGA

I really like IGA in Corryton. Friendly people, always enough people to serve you. I love their fresh chicken in the meat department, tender and juicy and priced right. Check them out, they are better than most large grocery chains!

Great store, their meat is awesome and is the best price in town. I like their deli too, great store. And like others will tell you their meat is higher quality and is cheaper than the chain stores.. definitely beats wal mart

This store does a tremendous job in giving back to the Gibbs community. I have seen them host many school and church car washes, GS cookie sales, bake sales, received gift certificates, food donations and more! Thank you Midway IGA!

I've always loved this store..I grew up 6 houses from the old IGA and that was the only place my mom would shop. She shopped at the other IGA until she was 89 years old!

I love local grocery stores & IGA is convenient & located in a great spot. The staff is super helpful & friendly. They have the best meat products. I just wish it had better prices.
