Service was so bad I wrote this review while waiting. Store manager , 2 customer service representatives standing around unable to assist me at the service desk, kept letting me know that someone would be right with me for 10+ minutes. The store manager walked away after standing near the register and someone clocking out and also making me aware that “someone will be right with you”

This is the best Kroger I've been to thus far of all the years I've shopped here. Let me also mention I've stayed in this area a few blocks away from this Kroger for 7 years now and I just recently noticed it a few months ago. Now I go there like every other day.

Love this grocery store. It is the one i shop at the most. Friendly employees and the store is clean. Fresh produce and the deli has great chicken salads to choose from. I'd recommend the rotisserie chicken salad. Great prices. Between the low price specials and electronic coupons and paper coupons you really can save a lot. I also like you earn fuel point with every purchase. You can also fill out an electronic survey and earn 50 bonus fuel points so always check your receipt to see if you get a survey. 1 survey per 7 days. Gas is expensive now so every little bit you can save helps.

I came to Kroger to get a money order at 8am since Guest Care is supposed to be open from 8am - 9pm. The clerk was rude and walked around the store instead of helping me. She made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. She just told me it would take a minute and walked away before I could ask how long. Please be mindful that if you have anything important to do, don’t waste time coming to this Kroger.

Consistent pricing errors. You have to watch really carefully while they're ringing you up; otherwise, you'll likely be overcharged for something.

This Kroger at G'town Pkwy and Dexter is Our Kroger. Yesterday we were in the store and I could NOT figure out how to use the new app. Also, I found some bargain plush stuffies and they would not ring up at the price on the box. The girl working the self-check, Christian (or spelled Kristian ?), was patient and so kind. She worked with me until she helped me understand how to get all my coupons working.Thanks, Christian! If I had a choose between Kroger‘s, I would go to the one on Trinity the one your Dexter does not have as much product and they’re definitely more on edge and rude so im going tn trinity all day!

I was just walking through waiting on a to-go order from a nearby restaurant. I just want to say that the Produce Department was really immaculate. People were shopping and sure you could see product missing, but the items on the shelves and displays had clearly been placed with care. The loose apples and oranges, etc. we’re placed in perfect rows. Boxed and bagged items were neatly fronted and looking freshly placed. The floors were spotless.I don’t normally shop at this location, considering I have 3 closer Kroger stores closer to home. Cordova you have a Produce Leader that values his Department and puts pride in how he maintains the product.I took a minute to talk to him and told him much of what I commented on above.Shopping here might be well worth the travel increase.

I was so happy to go to a Kroger. I worked for the company that issued their credit cards years ago and have wanted to go to the store and see what it was all about. And it was not good... food was tasteless and greasy and their service was slow. That's my 1st and last time going...

Used the pharmacy for an emergency while traveling cross country. Amazing! All staff was pleasant, efficient and helpful from start to finish. Got me back on the road in record time. Highly recommend!

Lead pharmacist had a bit of a nasty attitude when it got close to quitting time. When your loved one just got discharged and they need their meds and the pharmacy is still open, what do you do? Got my dose of Happy Juneteenth I suppose.

Has to be the worst Kroger in their region-and has been that way for years. 4:30 Thursday and 1 checker lane. Self check backed up into the aisles. All the time. Stocking is terrible. Meat selection is terrible. I sense a management problem. Trinity store is totally different as is Hwy 64 store. Only 2 cornbread mixes- no Mexican. What are the Mexicans doing for cornbread? Produce is horrible. Close the damn thing and maybe a competent competitor will move in. Been coming here for 31 years and the last 5 years have been a steep downward spiral.

Iam really disappointed with service in this Kroger with money order services the old women called LECHY is really bad at customer service every time I go there for money order she really get mad at me come up with new rules and also not ready to take my money because of her Iam driving 3 miles to another krogers .management please look in to it even my friends face the same issue with her every time

Absolutely hate giving bad reviews but I feel this has to be shared. My husband grab my favorite sushi for lunch from what WAS our favorite location I noticed after a few pieces that it had a TWANG to it so after work I mentioned that we should return it & swap it out or get a refund. I was literally met with the stank face from CS Supervisor who then called the manger on the phone to find out how to handle the refund or exchange and was told the sushi can’t be old because they make it everyday. I proceeded to try to show the brown pieces & was met with a “I don’t know nothing about that stuff I don’t eat it” at that point I just chose to dismiss myself before I became one of “those” people. I truly expected better from Kroger’s management team.

Customer service lady is rude and doesn’t know company policy. Tried to return an item that is not on sale with the receipt and she told me I have to take it back to that exact store despite the fact that they sell the item for the same price. Kroger company policy says you can take it to any store that sells the item with the receipt unopened.

This Kroger is literally right by my house, very convenient for me to go to. However, every time we get produce from this Kroger, it goes bad within 1-2 days. They even sell expired bread. Even the pre-made salads are sold expired. PLEASE CHECK THE DATES ON WHATEVER YOU BUY AT THIS KROGER! it's a shame we have to do that at such a well national brand store.

I go to this Kroger regularly. The employee in the self check out area is usually nice and quick to respond to any issues with the machine. The people in the deli are friendly and helpful, even when it's busy. I have trouble tracking someone down in the bakery section sometimes but I don't need to go there often. Overall I recommend.

I started using this Kroger because it was convenient for me on my drive home for work since it was on the way home. At this point I think I'll just add the extra 5-10 minutes and go to a different one. Their seafood department always smells like there's some bad fish back there. I can never get a cart from inside and always end up having to go back outside to get one. There's normally only 2 lanes open with cashier's at any given time and only 1 side of the self checkouts open causing a line to build up all the way to the back of the store. And they're constantly out of so much of their stock.

Absolute garbage. Placed a curbside pickup order for today. Even put in the app when I was headed to pick it up so that it’d be ready. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone at any number that I called and no one ever came out after I’d already paid for my order. There was a bunch of employees of doing anything in the parking lot, one riding one of the motorized carts the entire time while I waited. I hate that this is the one closest to my apartment. Worst Kroger ever.

I’ve tried several times to connect with management with no success, but I’m curious if I’m the only one experiencing this problem. For the last few months I have purchased my groceries at this location it has been just awful! The vegetables and fruits are rotten and brown by day two, the bags of salad barely make it 3 or 4 days, the cakes in the bakery are growing mold less than 24 hours of purchase, the frozen- bagged food has large slits in them, and the bread (keto/ when available) cannot be stored in my pantry. I’ve learned to freeze it immediately so it doesn’t start turning.I am a middle-aged woman and I have purchased groceries for the last 20 years but I have never experienced anything like this. I realize we are all in a pandemic, food is hard to come by but for me to spend $250 a week, bag my own groceries, and then try to eat everything within the first 48 hours is utterly ridiculous. I am, again, so curious to see if anyone else is facing the same situation. Thanks!

8/22/21 On Sunday store is always busy operating with 2 cashiers and self checkout. I call management while standing in line for cashier assistance. Standing in line for 20 minutes now due to 1 customer couldn't get coupon for CIGARETTES. I finally told the cashier to call for management for assistance. Standing in line 27 minutes now just for the supervisor to fool with a cigarette coupon which never went through and. Customer only got 1 pack instead of a box. Top it off I had to bag my own groceries.Supervisors need to be more aware of the level of customer service being provided within this store. Never a pleasant experience

Nice clean store... But what's the point of Self Check out if the Employee is going to stare me down the whole time? ?? What's the point of Self Check out if the Employee is going to ask me if I need help. I've been spending hundreds of dollars a month at Kroger for years! I just got off work and I prefer not to be bothered. There should Be A certain spot the Employee's stand so me as a customer won't fell uncomfortable

Love shopping at Kroger. The store is pretty clean, well organized, & usually pretty well stocked. I do wish they would carry more organic options & a greater variety of gluten-free choices. I also wish they would open more cashiers when lines get more than 4-5 deep. Other than that, it's been great.

Idk how this kroger has 4.3 stars. I stood at the meat department for 10-15 mins nobody came. Asked a worker if there was anyone who was supposed to be in the meat department he didn’t care at all didn’t help me whatsoever. So I called the store number and heard over the intercom the meat department being paged at least 5 times. No help. Went to “guest services” she picks up my call…no help. Horrible customer service. Had the same experience with the Kroger on Trinity.

To be honest I am not a huge fan of kroger but there really is not much competition in town. My biggest gripe is that they generally do not have enough check out lanes open., Especially if you go later in the evening. I am not a big fan of the self check out. I feel like if I have to check it out myself I probably should get a discounted price. The selection here is pretty good and the store seems to be laid out well. Prices seem to be in line with what I would expect to pay. Again, my biggest complaint is with the staffing.

Love this location! I always do the pick up order and no matter who I get as a customer rep, they are always nice and friendly. They always talk to me and have a smile on their faces even if it’s hot - hot outside. I do wish the company would fix the machines they use bc the reps always have to go inside to ring the orders up bc the little tablets are always glitching. So they have to do double trips back and forth. They never complain but I hate that for them. They already walking and toting pounds of food, then they have to load it in the cars, and NOW walk back just to swipe a card! Corporate help me, help them, so they can help us!!! You all have great reps, so treat them better. Be the Chic fil a of Grocery stores!!!!
