1/1/24 I went into this Kroger between 3:15-4:00PM to buy milk and a bag of Tyson skinless chicken breast. The shelf price was listed at $11.99 but rang up at $14.99. The employee that was at the self check-out (Chad) called for assistance to go check out the price. The employee who went to check (I believe her name is Monica) went to check and said that they were $14.99. After she came back and said that the price is $14.99 we both walked back and I showed her where the price said $11.99. She then goes on to say that the reason that there were several bags of placed in the wrong place was because they had nowhere else to place them. I then said to her that as a consumer all I was focused on was Tyson Chicken being priced at $11.99 and she then said that the Tyson Barbecue chicken is $11.99 and not the breast. I informed her that I wanted it for the price that I saw and she and Chad continues to laugh and she joked with him I front of me and said that she's not honoring the price so I then asked for a supervisor. The supervisor came over and she then gave it to me for that price and she asked were there other bags in that freezer placed incorrectly and I told her that there were several. The supervisor never even acknowledged me and instructed Monica to go back and remove the price tag for the items.

Gwendolyn deserves a million dollars an hour. She is kind, knowledgeable, and a very hard worker. I always leave with a smile on my face after talking to her. I purposely do my shopping in the evenings when I know she is working. Thank you for your kindness Gwendolyn!

I loves Kroger’s this one is very clean and well stocked on Houston levy, the only think I hate is why don’t they upgrade their rest rooms by installing proper paper dispensers and which this is only problem with this one, although rest rooms are clean, they still need to upgrade where customers feel comfortable sitting on stools, fix some of these broken items in restrooms

Kroger on Houston level. Has some unprofessional rude people I ever seen from the management team on down I really don't blame the crew if a reflection of the management team. This store has really gone down. In service stock and in professionals. The one on Hwy 64 is much better.

8/31/21 Update: there was not one single person checking customers out today. I'm attaching a picture of the self checkout line which was backed up all the way down an aisle. This was the only part open today for checkout. Please hire new staff to check out and bag groceries.My experiences with this store are mixed. On several occasions (when fully staffed) I've had some nice baggers offer to help me load my groceries in my car. Other experiences at the store have been hit or miss. This past week they were not fully stocked with the majority of items that I needed. I was informed that they are short staffed right now because no one wants to work. That is unfortunate. However, I prefer this location over the one on Hwy 64. Usually, I can find the items I need and I do not have any issues. My major issues were bagging my own groceries at the checkout last year when COVID-19 hit. Then one worker refused to hand me back my change as if I had the plague. That really irritated me.My experiences with the pharmacy are pretty much always pleasant. No real issues except that the last two times I went to pick up a prescription in the drive thru last week, it took a couple of minutes to get anyone to come to the window even after ringing the bell.

Very clean inside, but the parking lot is a bit trashy at times. The customer service needs a lot of improvement. Every time I visit this location the money center is closed during normal business hours. When I asked when they would re-open I got a nice dose of unwarranted attitude. Happened on more than one occasion. But overall if you’re not big on hospitality this is a decent place to buy grocery.

What is up with the arbitrary times you lock your doors? If you're gonna lock one side of the building at least put a sign on door to let the customers know, instead you stick an employee in there who is playing on his phone and acting like he doesn't see you trying to get in. It's 7pm on a Friday and you don't close until 11.

I placed an online deli order on Friday morning to pickup a 24 pc fried chicken box and a chicken tender platter for pickup at 5:30 PM on the next day (Saturday) for a family get-together. A few minutes after placing the order I received an email confirmation that had the correct order and the correct pickup time. My wife arrived at the deli with the email confirmation in hand at 5:20 PM on Saturday and they did not have my order. The lady working the deli said “my manager forgot to check her email today”. What the hell is the point in having an online ordering system if nobody monitors it? This store has really gone downhill. I will drive the extra miles to a different store from now on.

I am so disappointed and disgusted. I ordered a pan of fried party wings for a Thanksgiving Dinner. The wings were all gummy under the skin and the chicken was extremely tough along with the skin. I could literally cry because i wasted $40 on these and they are not edible. It is a tough lesson learned. It was my first time doing an order like this with them and it is my last.

I want to commend Don in the produce dept. I was looking at some tired raspberries when Don told me he had fresh ones in the back at half price. He went back to get them for me, but came back five min later and apologized because he couldn't find them. I told him I appreciated his effort and moved on. About 10 min. later, here comes Don with fresh raspberries. He'd searched all over the store to find me. It's the kind of service you just don't see any more. I recommend Don for associate of the month.

Am a person that is blind and disabled, so occasionally have difficulties navigating and finding things. Only needed a couple of items which took a while since I refused to ask for help. Got through checkout where both the cashier and bagger were very friend,y and efficient. As I was exiting the store, a young guy asked if I needed help to my car and I laughed because it’s been nearly 15 years since I’ve driven! At any rate, I told him this and that I was going to a nearby restaurant to meet some friends for lunch. He walked me all the way down to the corner and even held the door for me! Never got his name, so I’ll just leave my thanks and kudos here for him. Many thanks for going over and above, my friend! Blessings to you.

This location has went down tremendously, most mangers are rude and don’t resolve issues. They just look at you as you speak and say ok. Wow! My last issue and visit I purchase drinks that where suppose to be 4 for $11 however after getting home I noticed they charged me $4.99 each. I returned to the store to make them aware of the error however I was surprised to find that even though what reads on the price says 4 for $11 you needed to also purchase an additional $20 in groceries in order for them to honor that price. This was not listed on the self however they said it was something corporate put into affect the same day i purchased. I wasn’t upset about this even though to me it’s misleading what upset me was the manager Kira yelling at me from across the store ( register 13 to customer care to be exact). She yells we can’t do anything about it you need to spend another $20 and turned her back and began to talk to the cashier. This had myself as well as customers and employees stunned and staring. This type of behavior occurs often at this location. I’ve seen them interact with other customers unprofessionally. At this point I spoke with another manger who was really no help as he didn’t know what to do. However he was polite and apologetic. Kira comes and stands at the customer service desk and stares while I continue my conversation with the male manger. I don’t know if this was in an attempt to intimidate me or what. Either way I would rather travel 7 miles to the other Kroger location. Keep in mind this one is .5mile away in my neighborhood. Definitely placing a call to there corporate office today. And want be returning to this location regardless.

This Kroger is a five star Kroger. It isn't convenient enough to where I live to shop there often but I enjoyed my shopping experience. Even the check out clerks were friendly and intelligent!! Large store with many varieties and brands. Good produce department, great bakery & deli, a pharmacy, very good meat selections, and even a florist. The store was well stocked, clean, and they opened a new lane when it got really busy!!

The grocery pick up is not like it was when it 1st started. The last 2 times I placed an order... They waited until I was on my way for pick up to let me know my order was not ready. The 1st time this happened I had placed the order around 5 am for a 4:00 pick up. They had all that day to let me know so I could go another route with dinner. This was a big inconvenience for the dinner we had planned, but I disregard what happen and tried it again keeping in mind the lady I spoken to said they were short staff for the day. Now the next time I was 5 minutes away from the store when I got a call saying my order was only 50 percent complete and would not be ready, so I'm thinking well that's fine I will just still come since I was almost to the store and just wait but the lady then said she don't know how long it will be because their not just completing my order but other orders as well... Smh I just told her to cancel the order. Once again I was disappointed. I will not be doing pick up any longer at this location. My family and I ended up eating out, which was something we didn't want to do. Oh I forgot to add I was getting reminders through text and email to pick up my order... Nothing about a delay... Smh

Whoever bakes and designs the cakes at this location needs to be fired! I paid a whopping $40 bucks for a half sheet, photo choc cake that tasted like a Suzy Q and looked liked it was painted by a 5 yr old. After two slices, I tossed it in the trash. IT WAS THAT BAD! Only giving 3 stars because the store is nice and so are the employees.

If Negative stars were an option I would select a —10!Regular customer out of proximity to our home alone. This year I have had countless returns of food items outdated, spoiled before date expiration, constantly having to sort through produce for fresh items while clearly rotting items are in the forefront.Each time I have taken the time to return (some I have not because its terribly inconvenient) I have received nothing but an interrogation and attitude.Im sorry but your associates need better training in quality control and overall customer service and professionalism.Ill pay more to drive elsewhere or for a company tp shop for me elsewhere.

Good store, friendly employees. Some prices the same as other Kroger stores while some are a bit more expensive. Easy to get in and out. Good selection. Produce department, dairy, meats all well organized and good quality.

I normally go to this store and usually have no issues. I had called in a order earlier today for a 16 piece chicken. I arrived about 15 minutes late. I must admit I was not there at 5:00 PM exactly, like I had requested. When I went to the deli counter, I could feel something was wrong. The young man behind the counter finally ask can I help you. I then told him I had an order. He saw my name on the order sheet, but my order was not there. He finally told me he just got there and the lady that just left on her shift, just gave my order away. He did say he would fix me another order. What bother me the most, the manager did listen to me, but seem like she really didn't care. She advised the guys back there, probably was lying and just didn't cook the chicken. It was the principle of the matter and the manager was like blah, blah, blah. I felt like I was in a Charlie Brown movie. In the future I will be on time for my order and will not bother to tell a manager about my issue. VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER! KROGER YOU GET 2**!

Great store.Not too crowded. ONLY part I hate about this store is you have to check/scan your own grocery, but you still are expected to pay full price for food. There are lanes with cashiers,but not many.Kroger is saving money by making the consumer shop, be the cashier, and sacker, but not giving me the cashier or sacked salary.

Very nice ( but expensive ) place, have everything that you can need to resolve your forgoten items, and the staff are very kind and good manner. they have flowers, sushi, imported items, a big variety of breads, and my preffer line, the coffee beans that you can grind free, really nice!

On average this location is great but I have to do most of my shopping late and this store is starting to really on self check out more than a friendly person self check out does not accommodate shoppers with a full basket I much rather wait in a line. If kroger is going to start turning into Walmart when it comes to check out I will spend more for a friendly person to pay for my groceries and go elsewhere

What a bunch of unprofessionals! Trying to pick up a prescription for dental surgery tomorrow morning, the pharmacist would not fill the prescription for unknown reasons, said he needed to talk to the dentist first, whose office was closed for the day. Don't ever go to Kroger pharmacy. Horrible experience! Rude customer service, bad attitude. They don't even deserve 1 star!
