We are on vacation in Blue Ridge with our family, and were looking for somewhere to take our kids (ages 4 & 2). We found this place on Google and are glad we did! The kids loved it! The owners are super friendly, informative, and knew how to talk to kids. They had many goats (inc babies!), cows, pigs, emus, ducks, chickens, roosters, rabbits, turkeys, and Guinea pigs! They also had “mystery bags” you could buy separately for the kids that have assorted farm themed toys. To the owners - thank you for making our vacation extra special!

A wonderful place to visit with young kids! Beverly and her sister were great hosts! We have a 4 and 1 year old. They loved the open ability to interact with the animals! It’s down by a wonderful creek. If you aren’t use to country living you might be thrown off by the final destination. I recommend calling when you’re close so they can welcome you in. The people are so sweet and hospitable. It’s worth the ride and getting off the beaten path a bit. Have fun!

Took my one year old and he loved it. They have a wide variety of animals, and the owner is happy to share breeds, names, and stories of all the animals with you. $12 per adult, kids under 3 free :) They even have 2 emus and are getting an exotic deer soon!

My family and I wend to the petting zoo while we were on vacation. All of the kids with us were a little older, 21, 12 and 10. They loved it! The owners were so friendly and didn't rush us at all. They let us interact with all the animals and talked to us about them. The animals were also well cared for, you can tell they love them. I definitely recommend going to check it out. We will go again next time we visit💜

We had a blast at creekside petting zoo. My 1 1/2 year old daughter loves going and feeding all the animals. We have been several times and can't wait to go back. Clean place. Very nice owners and workers. The animals are very well taken care of (spoiled actually) you can tell the animals are loved and that's why we love going so much... I highly recommend everyone take their kids.. or even adults because I love going too 💜 thank you creekside petting zoo. Hope to see y'all again soon.

These animals are not well taken care of at all, we left really upset. Many of the animals have very visible health issues (rabbit with a huge gash in its nose, goats whose hooves/nails are so overgrown they have trouble walking correctly, chickens and roosters in cages small enough that they can’t walk around), and there was a cow that was jumping around dangerously around us. Their reasoning for this was that “they’ve kept him cooped up for 7 days so he’s excited to be outside.” There are even dogs chained up and a working dog that has a torn up nose. The people are really nice but they do not need to have the animals.
