Spent $144 cash on lights. They didn't work when I returned them to the store they couldn't give my cash back. So they gave a gift card that I was told could be used online. I tried using it but couldn't. Call them come to find out it only good in the store. I live 45 minutes from petco and they don't have what I need. So at this point I don't have my money back. And can't use the gift card.

At the register good! However..... I've been seeing ads etc all over store stating buy pets food x 7 get the 8th free yet, when I asked about that got the runaround. I have been buying dogfood there for approximately 8 years. I may have exceeded the 7-8 bag limit. Tired of the lies though. I can take my business elsewhere and the worse thing one can do is steal or lie.

This store has a wide array of items for your fur babies or critters. I personally just got a fish tank set up for my children, and they have everything you could possibly need to set it up right. Very friendly staff that are willing to assist. Very good experience with this store.

Our dog’s coat is difficult to groom evenly. They did a fantastic job of evening it out. A little more expensive than I anticipated, so we won’t get to go often, but we’ll definitely use the service again at times.

Dakota did an awesome job with Balboa. The entire grooming staff are friendly and welcoming. I don't mind driving an hour knowing Balboa is safe and well taken care of.

I shopped at Petco/Cookeville, Tn yesterday and was shocked at the prices. I planned on buying a cat tree for my kittens just to notice how extremely high on prices they were compared to other places. They were twice the price as online sites for the exact same product. When I checked out with the items I purchased on the receipt I noticed I was charged a "bagfee". I have never been charged this at any other store. I CAN JUST IMAGINE HOW MANY PEOPLE DONT REALIZE THIS CHARGE SIMPLY FOR SHOPPING THERE AND BAGGING YOUR PURCHASE! It is not like they had to use miles of plastic for a bag to contain my purchased items. I only had 5 small items. Needless to say the next time I need items for my pets, I will not be shopping at this store.

I personally like petco cause your not bothered unless you ask for help. I love that I can go in and meet and greet all the animals spend a hour then another hour in fish and not 1 time bothered by employees. If I have a question or need direction to a item the employee will stop what their doing to assist me, then go back to work. Peaceful atmosphere, always clean and stocked

I've been using Petco Grooming for years. The groomer informed me this morning she'd have to charge me an additional $15 because I don't want my dog crated. I tried to explain to her my little chihuahua is a rescue dog and she spent the 1st two years of her life in a crate. She informed me dogs don't think like people that she'd be fine. I told her I could come back (even though I was on time for my appointment). She told me the groomers always double book which forces them to crate dogs. It was the tone and anger in her voice that upset me. I'll be changing groomers. I'll find someone that actually cares about pets and their job!

Went in. Got exactly what I wanted. The price rang up different so I showed the lady cashier what the website showed and she fixed it right there. No fuss. Great visit.

I had a number of items including a bag of dog food but when I got up to the cash register last weekend I was told that they would charge me for a bag! This seems like a scam to me! Only a terrible, greedy company charges for a bag to carry multiple items purchased at the store! I will find other pet stores for my supplies from now on!

I couldn’t remember which dog food I bought last time and my dog has a sensitive gut and I needed the same food. The lady upfront looked up my account and was able to figure out what food I bought and needed. I’m thankful for her as I live 30 minutes away.

Just got a xxl litter box from here. It's the only place that carries them that big. My cat loves it. It's so roomy for larger cats. I called to ask if they had one, and the young lady said she'd go check. She said yes, only one. I asked if she would hold it for me, and she said yes till the end of the day tomorrow, and she did. I thought that was very nice of her. It's definitely a good place to do business.

I was very impressed. I told the clerk I had a very spoiled and picky eater dog and asked him to recommend a food he might eat. He suggested a lamb with lots of protein. He said even if I opened it and my dog didn't like it, I could bring it back with my receipt for a refund. It doesn't get better than that!

Went to get a tank for my son bday it was half off and got him a tank he's been wanting for a while for cheap!! He's really happy with it! Store was very clean, animals looked healthy & well cared for, staff was friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend for fish needs and more!

Lanae' went above and beyond in grooming. She helped me with the app process for scheduling and she did amazing on Ruby Ann's hair. I highly recommend this facility. Very clean!

Great staff. I got both of my dogs nails clipped and buffed. Didn't take long at all and they did very well with them. I give grooming a 4star but the fish area needs some work. Tanks aren't very clean and most of their aquatic plans were rotting and not a very good selection.

I really hate to leave bad reviews, but this one I have no problem with. So we called to see if they had ferrets, but since we were so far away, we asked if they could stay open for 5 minutes longer. And they said no, which i understand, seeing that that is their house posted. But we drove 505 miles to get this ferret, and they knew we were coming. Btw poor attitudes over the phone from the manager. We arrived exactly at 8 it just changed, and they wouldn't let us in knowing we were coming and going to cut it very close. I was extremely disappointed with poor customer service.
