April 7, 2024, went to Lowe’s and purchased a new shower and all the component’s to install a new shower. An employee was friendly and sounded very knowledgeable. He got a cart and I helped him load everything he said we needed, and we left. Saturday I hired a crew of people to install my new $4,000 dollar shower. 3/4 the way we found out that the employee at Lowe’s failed to load a shower side. Now I have to pay for the crew to come back another day and we did not have water for two days. The shower was on special offer and yet we seem to have paid full price. How does that sound sound good

This Lowe's is fully stocked and has a good number of sales clerks to help you. The thing I like best is being able to order things and pick them up. The only thing that this doesn't seem to work with is my outdoor plants.

Don't even deserve one star! Went after work to check out washers and dryers. The associate that helped us wasn't normally in the appliance dept he was super Friendly and helpful. However when we picked the one we wanted he went to ring it up only to find out it was a clearance item, he didn't know what to do, so the ASM came up there and was rude and we had planned to go ahead and pay for both but would have had to wait until we could get someone to pick up later today. Dude said we won't deliver clearance and we won't gold them eitherWe left without either, they lost a $1,200 sale and customers to boot.

I want to give a shout out to an associate named Brian at the Cookeville Lowe’s today! We were trying to make sense of the Memorial Day sale for Ring Cameras and he was able to help us obtain the four cameras and be out of the store quickly. Thanks Brian!

I purchased a side by side refrigerator and paid for the delivery from Lowes. When they brought it to my house it had a dent in the front of the door. I told them that I didn't want that fridge, I would like for them to set up a time to deliver another one. The lady, I think her name was Ricki, asked me if I could just keep the dented one and put a magnet on the dent. Really, 😳. I said I would like a fridge that wasn't dented and she said that they would just refund my money and not send me another one. We've called Lowes 2 more times and they told us both times that they would return our call within 24 hours but we have not received a call back at all. I have kids and I need a refrigerator. This has been absolutely ridiculous to deal with. If their family needed a refrigerator I'm sure they would absolutely make sure they got one. Other people just aren't as important I guess. This is really sad. Their should be an option for no stars because they don't deserve any.

In my 15 years in construction working all over the US the Cookeville store is by far the absolute worst store for loading anything with a forklift. My average wait time is 1-3 hours to get a pallet of wood or concrete loaded. I have had to go here and get loaded a couple dozen times over the past twoYears and they’re loading time keeps getting worse.

So. Normally I’m okay with this place, IF you can find an employee they’re very helpful. We waited over an 1.5 hours to get metal and eventually went and got it ourselves until we had to get a lift. And had to ask for help again. We rented a lift from them. Hour to the job site, set up, metal unloaded, behind schedule, whatever. The lift doesn’t work. Job day is shot. Take it back perhaps they can swap it out extend out time something. Nope, they only have one and the employee says ya, it did the same thing last time we rented it out, it’s been a problem. WHY DID YOU LET US RENT IT?!!? Waste a day and have over $1000k tied up on a deposit and payment for the next 3-5 days. If you knew it didn’t work, you get it fixed. Not rent out broken equipment.

They don't have shower fixtures only select few for newer homes not older ones.. hardly anything at all but yet online has more options... Very unsatisfied

Asked manager for clarification on why they couldn't refund cash. His response was it has already been completed and there is nothing loes can do. It is real sad when an answer to a question cannot be answered by the manager! Home Depot is looking better everyday.

This review is specifically for an employee at Lowe’s in the electrical department. Eddy has to be your best employee there. I’m a contractor and have been shopping at this Lowe’s for years. Eddy has helped me time and time again. Most people in this store have no technical knowledge of any of the products, domestically employees (especially the kids) will shy away from helping when I lock eyes for help. But Eddy is always there to save the day. Thank you for helping me and so many people Eddy.

Always have what I need for home maintenance, tools and the various sized led daylight bulbs I like to use in winter. Gave 4 stars because it's hard to get assistance. Many times I resort to calling the store to find help while I'm in the store, lately they don't answer the phone well, which I find very frustrating. But customer service is way down at most larger stores.

There’s a lady in front with really bad attitude, we ask for help to put some concrete bags (100 pounds) in our car, and she was not nice at all, she told us to move our cart out and wait outside for someone that was coming to help us but she didn’t even call nobody. So we still here waiting after 30 minutes, even after ask at a different worker. Bad, really bad service! 🙄

No cashier's. I refuse to shop any retailer that do no have a person checking me out. I will never use those self checkouts. Theft is high in those retail outlets with me cashier's so I know not only am I inconvenienced with the self checkouts but chances are I am paying higher prices at those retail establishments. Would rather shop at the local places anyway.

Although last year I was denied credit at Lowe's, recently I went in because I needed to buy a lawn tractor. Because I'm getting older it has been getting harder to walk behind the more to cut the grass. I talked to one of the sales associates there and applied for credit and I got quite a bit actually. I was able to buy the lawn tractor I wanted which is a John Deere 130. I had to put some of it on another card because I didn't get a big enough credit line but I was very happy that I was finally able to get the lawn tractor I wanted.

Horrible shopping experience. Too bad there's not a Home Depot nearby to provide competitive incentive for Lowe's employees to care. Really difficult to get any assistance and after an associate looks me straight in the eyes doesn't even acknowledge I'm standing there trying to get help. After strolling many aisles and finding my one single item I go to self check where the scanner double scanned the item unbeknownst to me as it wouldn't show the price until I put the credit card in. Promptly taking the money I realized the problem and asked the fella overseeing the self check for help. He told me to go stand in line at customer service. At customer service with one person helping a lot of people standing and waiting and a lot of head scratching and frustration with most folks including the rep. Finally another employee comes strolling over at her leisure and come to find out they're not too pleased to be there either. After 10 minutes of waiting finally get a checker who could really care less. What happened, did the manager announce the Grinch was visiting each one of these people? I tried to leave and the door is locked apparently due to shrinkage so I have to walk all the way around to the other end to exit the store. As I turn around looking back I see somebody remotely opened the customer service door to allow other customers out. As I was leaving I saw the same kid overseeing self check and I commented worst experience ever. He said you got your money back didn't you? Like I said these people don't care about the customer experience.

I showed up at 9:08pm on Friday night. On line it said 4 weeks ago that they updated the closing time to 10pm however there were 2 boys at the door I spoke to one named Bruno and asked are you closed he laughed and said yes, I said google says 10 pm he laughed again and said oh sorry.

Truck Driver trying to deliver a load. I’ve been here 40 minutes already, I’ve tried calling Receiving numerous times, can’t get anyone to answer, I’ve called Customer Service no answer, I’ve even called the Lumber Department no answer, ask one of the guys inside the back fence if he would please let Receiving know I was here, just ask one of their loaders and spotters what did you have to do to get someone at this store to answer the phone and they looked at me with the dumbest looks on their faces and shrug their shoulders and reply I don’t know. This is ridiculous!!! It would actually be a good place for a new manager!!! Let’s see how long this takes!!!

Don't buy any appliance unless you plan on paying full price to replace it after 48 hours! Horrible customer service!! My 4 year old dishwasher died, I understand Lowe's can't replace that but when the brand new replacement dies after 4 months and they tell me they only have a 48 hour window to return appliances when they have 90 days on everything else. I'm done. I will take my money elsewhere from now on. I'm not a valued Lowe's customer.

Please read all the way through and save yourself some hassle.We came for new appliances and had the superb help of a Ms. samantha .Amazing working knowledge and super kind and patient.We appreciated the consideration.UPDATE:After having such a good report with Samantha, I now am furious with the whole organization...We paid to have security doors and a grill delivered as well as a dish washer. Due to availability issues we knew they were bringing another delivery with the dishwasher separate.We made all of these purchases the same day. We were here waiting to receive our doors and grill--- after verifying that yes this was all being delivered today...The doors were not on the delivery truck, when we asked where they were, the store stated they checked security footage and saw the doors being loaded onto the truck.So I have to ask, where did they fall off the truck between the store and our home???Once corporate got on the phone, all they could say was we have made a ticket and you will hear from someone within 24 hours. We paid $90 just to have those doors delivered, and she could not tell us that we wouldn't have to pay that AGAIN!!!All we know for sure at this point is we have NO intentions of using this location in the future, and if you need something hauled, don't ask them to do it!

I would totally give it zero stars if it was even possible. I have been waiting weeks for a delivery of an appliance. They never show up even though they confirm they always reschedule when they finally show up the item is damaged then they promised to get it out in two days and now another no show. Now it’s not until next week and Thanksgiving is coming up and no refrigerator. So now I have to take another day off of work for them to not probably show up.
